Indiana Mall

Love the Claire's, Spencers, and Evelyn's Heavenly Gifts which sells crystals and jewelry. And can't forget Abt Auntie Anne's Pretzels

Disclaimer: This review is 90% nostalgia and 10% unbiased feedback.

My wife and I traveled from Warren, PA (about 2.5 hours north) because I found out this mall is a "sister" to our own, long demolished, hometown version. The trip was a bit of a lark to surprise my wife, but I was just as interested in seeing it, and the results were worth it.

It is truly amazing to see the features seemingly transplanted through space and time and presented in their 80s aesthetic glory. Yellow and orange tile benches, flooding skylights, (mostly) functional fountains, leafy shrubbery, trashcans, weight-scales, and gumball machines galore.

Beyond the surface similarities, the mall is a functioning facsimile of the bygone era as well. Claire's, JC Penney's, GNC, Kay's, Auntie Anne's, and a Nail Salon are all present. Some of the endcap stores have been vacated or replaced with contemporary versions, but there is a smattering of arcade-adjacent options available. Mall Security patrols the mall, there is a dedicated office, and the bathrooms are in great shape & stocked. The employees in each store were courteous, knowledgeable, and genuine in a way that seemed more present than what is common in the present.

The rise of Amazon and online shopping has brought a lot more choices for consumers, but I can't help miss our old mall and the human element that has been lost. We were very happy to see it still working somewhere!

I love the mall in general, but it's sad to see so many stores closed n moved out! I remember several years ago that place would be packed especially at christmas time!

Very nice to see a Dunhams in Indiana. It is a nicer newer Dunhams store and it has a great selection of products. Indiana needs more in the local area for outdoor supplies. A Dunhams store is a big plus in the area for me personally.

Great place to take the family and walk around. It does look like it's coming back from covid, and many new shops are coming into this place.

Quiet. Needs more stores. So sad to see this mall emptying out. Has potential if the right owners get it.

Great place to shop. It is shameful that Amazon is killing retail big time to establish it's monopoly in the industry leading to the closure of 3 of our main stores. I hope the people of Indiana keep supporting their hometown Indiana PA mall by shopping here and new anchor stores come to our Mall very soon.

I used to work here at Wendy's 18 years ago. Then i had to move to boston because i got married. Sad to see alot stores closed. I love this mall so much. And know i moved back to Pennsylvania again. So its 3 hours away from my new home. I want drive there again. 💜💜💜

Making a come back! Fun place to go with kids on the weekend, they have GoBonkerz where kids can play, some kids quarters rides, fountains, and area to run, and a church! The stores are a short list but they have JC Penny and some other stores. I give 5 stars for a place to take small kids on weekends, and 3 stars for local shopping. Update: the mall has been more busy with the new economy, might make come back very soon

A mall that's still occupied by stores! It has a good food court, as well. Skip the Chinese food that advertises fresh sushi. A loud woman stands out front and becons customers. Over priced, so-so quality. Otherwise, this is the perfect mall shopping experience: large variety of stores, with holiday specialties like Hickory Farms & calenders. Escalator, water fall/fountain.

This day and age how can you compete with the internet. I think the Indiana mall is doing the best it can do. Very little economy, Walmart and a list of other competition. In my opinion it's still a safe, clean and legit mall.

Typical mall. Not bad, cool kinda retro decor. Convenient place to shop or grab a bite to eat.

It's a cozy mall. It's smaller than some yet I'm confident you could find what your looking for here. And by you visiting your local mall you are supporting which turns into Growing. You can make a difference. Your mall is only what YOU MAKE IT. 😉

Harbor freight was good, is there anything else left there?
Goid place to see if your hot rod launches since not a road and nothing there

Very nice place. Has about 12 stores n food places. Good pizza. Nice jewelry shops. Music shops. JC Penny's. Bon ton. And more.

Very clean, very nice to see the stores that are still there and their employees still doing a great job !! Go bonkers was PERFECT ! KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB !!!

Okay but not many stores there anymore

I was shopping at Harbor Freight, not at the Mall. I guess Google can't tell the difference. But, Harbor Freight was very good.

Nice vacation full ocean view new deck dog friendly only problem was deck not separated

This place is pretty empty and dead but it's still close to my home and still has the necessities so it will still get a 5 stars from me
