The view is amazing!! The paved trail has 6 markers and the 6th is located at the top. There are trails on both sides if the paved trail. This is a great place to relax, enjoy the view and breathe in the fresh air!!

This place was awesome! My wife and I had finished with out plans for the day and still had a few hours of daylight left. Everything around here closes at 5 so we were just looking for something cheap and different to do. Somehow we stumbled on this place. What a gem.

Ok, so the walk to the top is a bit of a hike, a half mile if I remember correctly. Uphill. Well, around hill, technically. But up either way. Once you get up there the view is absolutely stunning. There is a compass at the top and you can see all around the area.

Free, different, fun. And clean! They do a great job on the maintenance here. Stop by. Take a hike. Enjoy the view. It'll be a highlight of your trip.

I 100% recommend coming to Highpoint if you're looking to get any type of pictures done! We came around 7pm with our photographer (BrittanyBearPhotography) check out her Instagram! We climbed all the way to the top and were able to capture beautiful maternity pictures. 10/10 recommend

Very cool little park with wind around, wheelchair accessible, paved path with random rest stops along the way. Very rewarding views once you reach the top!

If you're traveling between Columbia and York, HighPoint is just a 2 mile detour from Rt. 30. And I highly recommend the quick excursion. Although there are other surrounding trails which I haven't explored, your goal here is simple: park the car and hike 1/2 mile Heritage Trail right off the parking lot and up to the summit.

The trail is paved with a special mixture of what seems like gravel and recycled rubber. It feels cushiony, strange but nice. It's definitely wheelchair accessible, but the incline is rather difficult without an assistant.

As you walk you can feel the huge expanse; it feels like somewhere picturesque in Europe. There are 6 marked "waystops" between the beginning and the end of the short trail. Not sure what they are for, but at waystops 2-5 there are boulders you can sit and rest. When you reach the top you can see the famous Mason-Dixon Trail traversing across the summit.  At the summit the trail forms a circular cul-de-sac, surrounding a compass inset on the ground.  The whole setting is strangely reminiscent of the StoneHenge but without the stones of course... The view there is simply liberating. You can see the Susquehanna River and the Veteran's Memorial Bridge to the north, Clark Lake to the southeast, and endless hills and meadows all around.  If you're lucky you could also be blessed with peak fall foliage, clear sky, and perhaps a red sunset.  We weren't that lucky but we will keep that in our plan next time we come!   All perfect except for one bone to pick - the power lines.

Loved it. It’s one of the most peaceful and serene places to visit. You really get a 360 degree view of the area and river. I could’ve sat up here for the entire day soaking up the scenery. A must see and visit place when you come to Lower windsor township.

Beautiful panoramic river views. Lots of history. Free access. The trail is a paved 1 mile gradual climb around a pastural highpoint. Some off-trail paths thru the woods via the Mason Dixon trail. Views include a river that President Washington crossed, native American homeland some 12,000 yrs ago. Very interesting. The trail head has a few picnic tables and decent porta-potty.

This is a beautiful view! If you are in the area be sure to visit! I frequent the area via the Mason Dixon trail system! If you don't want to hike there is a parking lot and then walk up a short paved path!

We stopped here on a road trip to let the kids stretch their legs. Wish we were there on a blue sky day because it’s a beautiful place. They had clean porter johns. Every few hundred feet there was a bench to sit at if you were tired. But our kids just ran up. It was beautiful up there. If it wasn’t for the clouds we would of had spectacular pictures of the area.

Very nice view. Maybe half a mile walk to the top. We came close to sunset so it was very beautiful to look down the Susquehanna River and to see the entire bridge at Columbia to Wrightsville

This was a great view and a nice walk to the view. You might want to bring some water if it's a hot day as the walk is uphill.
