we usually stop at this pet store whenever we are in the area , having bought a cocker spaniel here many years ago we've become pretty familiar with the store. the area where the pets are kept is ALWAYS amazingly clean ... never a hint of smell from puppy "accidents". the pets are kept clean and appear very well cared for ... as made obvious by the DON'T WAKE UP SLEEPING PUPPIES and the DO NOT PHOTOGRAPH THE PETS signs making it clear that they have a great respect for the pets and their well being. the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, offering great advice on the right breed for us as well as what to expect etc etc. the cocker spaniel we bought came with a health warranty ( not sure if this is still available) and we took it to our veterinarian of choice to be checked out within a week of purchase ... the dog was declared to be in excellent health and the doctor said that she was very well cared for at the store , something he was impressed with.
the cocker spaniel went on to be a cherished member of my family for 16 years. if / when we decide to get another puppy we will return to the The Pet Shop in Whitehall with complete confidence that we are getting a healthy and cared for puppy.

I take my daughter in every time we visit kohls. The puppies are adorable and seem happy and healthy. The staff were all so nice and were interacting with the puppies. You can tell they enjoy their job.

Took my grandson just to see the puppies. All of the puppies were sweet. I wanted to take one home. We didn't stay long because my grandson's was constantly sneezing. Workers were very nice and the store was clean.

Visited today and staff were super friendly and welcoming. The puppies were so cute and definitely cared for well. No feces in their kennels and looked happy! We almost left with a puppy today!

Very caring people here that appears to take good care of their animals and have quality supplies. We got our dog there almost 17 years ago and we have not been disappointed and frequently go back. (They could also benefit from people bringing in shredded paper to use for animal bins which, by the way they now have instead of cages!!!)

We had a wonderful experience with the purchase of our Cocker Spaniel puppy. He has been such a great addition with us and our 7 yr old Springer Spaniel. Carol was excellent in walking us through the buying experience and follow up with our adoption. He is healthy, well tempered and a perfect fit for our family!

My grandmother and myself went here back in 2005 and bought a male Bichon Frise puppy. He is 15 years old and still going strong. He has no health issues yet, and was completely dewormed when we bought him. I was given the breeders name and have been in contact with her over the years, and even received a picture of his parents and their names from the breeder. We still have his little green man toy that we bought from here, so even the toys are high quality. The dog even brought joy to my grandfather in his last days, he was a Korea veteran, and having the dog by his side helped his PTSD from the war. Best purchase we ever made.

I bought my Lab here. My overall experience was great. Carol was the women who helped me. She was great help and very patient. From my experience they seem to be very good with the animals there. Our new lab is a great addition to my family!

I love looking at the puppies but they are so expensive. 😔

We got our boxer puppy here in August and he is great! We took him to the vet for an upset stomachs couple days after we brought him home and the Pet Shop covered the vet visit and his meds. The Allentown Animal Clinic also had all of his info on file which was great. The Pet Shop staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dogs looked healthy fed and watered..all very cute picking one up tomorrow..worth a visit if ur looking for a dog..or rat..or bunny../and tomorrow came, brought home an adorable Coton. This dog is a genius, he already knows to go to the bathroom outside after two days! He s happy and the perfect addition to our family...great experience, staff took time to explain in detail many different aspects of puppy care and encouraged us to call them for advice or issues that arise.

Loved it! Such a great staff and they have a huge variety of puppies! We were looking for a Boston terrier and we found it!

Great place to buy a dog. Even tho I think the dogs should have water bowls to drink out of and not water in a bottle like the ones hamsters use. My opinion. Seems like they'll be there forever licking trying to get some water out. Cute dogs tho

Coupons galore! Great service, with the Exception of frequent long lines at registers. Great selection: they sell items you never knew you needed! Prices are acceptable with coupons. Highly recommend. Handicapped parking in front of store. One-story building. Small section devoted to bridal needs, especially
the Wishlist.
