I highly recommend Trexler Memorial Park. The full loop is around 3 miles with nice up and downs hills. Suitable for walking with your family cycling or you can jog or do your specific run session in here. All the uphills will make you a better athlete. You can admire the lake and the river stream around. Is very popular in the weekends, so if you are looking for a strong running session or cycling you have to try one of the mid week days recommend Tuesday or Wednesday. 💪💪💪 Highly recommended

Great green beautiful park to walk or bike. Plenty of free parking. Nice wide paths.

Great variety of flowers plants and trees.

One Restroom building with your basic old grungy park restrooms. No paper towels, just those useless air blowers.

Trexler Park is a popular destination for walking, walking with dogs, jogging, and bicycling. There's an loop trail system (paved) with several interesting features including rest rooms, Cedar Creek, ponds, woods and fields, a log cabin and a running spring. There's a horse mounted statue of General Harry Trexler (founder of the park) with a commanding view of the park and in the distance, South Mountain. The traffic noise can be obnoxious, but it's possible to find a few quiet spots where the creek drowns out the traffic noise. Trexler Park is also a good birding destination. There are woodland, wetland, meadow, and riparian habitats for wildlife observation and just taking in the scents, sights, and sounds.

One of my favorite parks to walk. Large / wide paved paths. Walking, running, cycling are all seen on visits. Plenty of park benches and can vary your course each time visiting. Many areas are wide open and can be hot in summer months.

Went on a hike here with my chihuahua right after a big snowfall. It was a dog friendly park with a small body of water on it. We only walked the paved trail 10-15 minutes but it was snow plowed and overall a great time killer.

One of my favorite trails. There is a loop a little over a mile long that is great for walking, running and biking (lower area) and even more at the top of the trail for walking and running (no bikes). It is a bit hilly. Very pretty in all seasons!

A wonderful place to run, walk, or bike. Different paths available to mix up your workout. A small hill towards Tilghman Street that leads to a few paths that can be seen from the road. There are seasonal bathrooms and fountains available. Several deer and fox live on the property and are able to be seen in the early morning.

This is one of the best parks for walking and cycling in the area. Paved trails, a large pond, a lot of open fields and wooded areas. A very popular park for Pokemon Go as well. Restrooms, water fountains and plenty of parking but only 1 real parking lot.

A great and peaceful little park this is plus the paths are great to walk on. However I think they should get some picnic tables and put in some swings and slides for little kids. this Park would make a good picnic area

My favorite place in Allentown to walk, chances are high that you'll see a deer, fox or other wildlife as you walk either the flat oval or the hilly extension. Well kept, easy parking, bathrooms on site, yo cross the creek twice during one trip around.

Great place to take a walk, bike ride, bring the kids & dogs...park is nicely set up. There is a shorter walking path or a longer one. Last time I was there, I saw a red tailed hawk just off the pathway...great scenery from the top of trail by statue of General Trexler on a horse 🐴🐎...

A sprawling 134 acre municipal park along Cedar Creek named after prominent industrialist Harry Clay Trexler. With grassy fields, woodland routes, historical structures, and a duckpond this green space has something for everyone. Well maintained paved walking and biking loops of varying lengths and elevation provide a customizable outdoor experience. If you arrive early in the morning you're sure to run into friendly local fauna who call this place home. Find Trexler's cabin at one of the trail forks, and head up the hill to find a monument to the man himself. There are no picnic tables around but there are ample benches for resting and taking in the sights, and there is a public bathroom near the parking lot.

Such a beautiful park to visit on a cold winter day. I believe the track loop is 1 mile for every rotation. Definitely a clean environment and all the people I encountered on my walk about very friendly and nice. Plenty of parking in two different leveled parking lots that is free. Clean environment and definitely a safe neighborhood to bring your kids if you would like.

I loved this park when i was a kid. I actually lived in the big house across from the duck pond. My brother and i had so many great memories of trying to sell acorns to the people walking by, feeding the squirrels, chipmunks and blue jays right from our hands, the family of foxes that lived under the statue and meeting all the wonderful people of Allentown who came there. I havent been there since i was 8 and im now 43 and i so love looking at all the new pics people post. It just brings a huge smile to my face and it gives new one to show my friends here in Phoenix, Az just how beautiful Allentown is. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has posted pics or to whom has visited my childhood home. I have learned that in life not all things stay the way you remember them, times change, people change, but looking at everyone's photos makes me see that is not always true. Trexler Memorial Park will always be a little slice of heaven here on Earth for me and I'd like to thank you all for keeping it just the same, all these years later. Please be safe, continue to love one another and always keep your smile bright!!!

Nice park with paved pathways, pond, and the original Trexler log cabin. There are no picnic tables, but there is a bathroom.

I enjoy the multipurpose paved path.
The restroom is enderally clean.
You can plot out different paths to stay shaded or to include a small hill.
There isn't a "play place" but plenty of space to run around.
