I was surprised by how nice this cafe is. The cashier is super friendly with people who don't know what to order. The turkey sub was very good. Zaatar dessert was on the semi sweet side which was great. The strawberry cucumber mint is on the sweet side but the service made up for it. I will definitely come back again.

This is one of the best coffee shops I’ve been. ✨ I love their hot coffee latte, with caramel, paired exquisitely with a pistachio croissant. 🥐 The interior is fab, very instagram worthy. It has a refreshing and relaxing ambiance. 💚 Without hesitation, I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone seeking an exceptional taste sensation! ☕

Pretty little hole in the wall Cafe! Nice atmosphere! The workers are professional and knowledgeable. There's a 2hr sitting window to but it's fairly understandable because it's a pretty busy place so they don't want people just sitting there doing idk college courses on a laptop all day and taking up space. The pastries were great but the Vanilla Chai and hot chocolate w oat milk were 🤌🏼 really good. Also it's more on the pricey side so prepare to pay for the "ambiance."

Mokafe is a sheek cafe with friendly and helpful staff, delicious treats, and the coffee is 💯 quality Yemeni and Guatamalan. The environment is an oasis in busy downtown Paterson. I highly recommend the shaken espresso and any of their stuffed croissants!

I was passing through Paterson, during Ramadan and came upon this location just before Aftari time. Saw the reviews on Google and decided to check it out. This place was PACK with lines out the door, mostly due to the time I visited, but we found some seating. For the best experience try non peak hours.
This place has the perfect cafe/coffee house vibe. The food is good,interior is pleasing and welcoming, I personally love cheesecake and I’ve tried them all. They all taste amazing, but the raspberry one is a bit too much.
Overall, Great place, great vibe. Definitely would come here if I’m in the area. Also Highly recommended by me.
Also, good luck finding street parking.

This was a really nice place and excellent employees. It was my first time drinking Turkish coffee with my mom and we didn’t know what to do with the water and chocolate. They more than gladly helped us out and it was great. The sandwich was a turkey and cheese and it was amazing too. Very affordable and the place is beautiful. Will definitely do again

One of my favorite adventures is to experience beautiful cafes and support small businesses. I learned about this cafe from @officeofthedaynj and went the next day! I cannot express to you how impressive the attention to detail is in the interior design (even the bathroom is absolutely gorgeous and smells heavenly!), freshness of food and coffee, the plates and glass, the coffee packaging, the staff vibes. I am so impressed with how invested these young owners are in their business and do glad I had a chance to experience their service. We were smiling and felt at home the entire time. I brought some croissants for my kids and they absolutely loved the freshness (the have had France croissants and know the real deal😋). We will definitely be back and wish them much success!

There have been many Yemeni cafés popping up around Jersey. Mokafe is the latest to follow this trend. I had heard much about Mokafe in the past few weeks and finally had the opportunity to try it. Overall, it was an incredibly pleasant experience. The Cafe was packed! However, the staff were very professional and kept the line moving along and helped my group get to a table. The waitor and cashier were both incredibly kind, patient, and gave suggestions on what they liked the best and would recommend. We ordered the Adeni Chai pot and some pastries. Everything was delicious and well done. The inside of the establishment was also incredibly clean and offered and cozy homey atmosphere. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by for a visit, ordering some chai, bringing a book, journal, and some card games, and enjoying a good time here!

We went for a quick bite and some drinks. Everything was just so nice. The vibe, service, food, drinks, presentation. I’m just so happy there’s a halal cafe place so close to home. We enjoyed it so much. Felt relaxing.

Stopped by here to get some work done and had a great experience! It’s a beautiful spacious coffee shop with wifi and comfortable seating. The brown sugar espresso and the dragon fruit refresher are both delicious. Highly recommend!

What an excellent experience - Delicious Food! Excellent customer service!! So friendly and catering to the guests – amazing. The Adani chi/tea is so delicious and authentic. They have many deserts and love the Tres laches cake. I don’t know what’s my favorite thing here, tea or deserts but all good. Café has great décor and cute and cozy place with room to sit and enjoy your tea and snacks. They have a big menu with sandwiches - coffee, latte and other hot & cold dinks – must try and I will definitely go again.

I’m a coffee lover and always down to try new places, I came across this coffee shop via instagram and I was intrigued. I tried the pistachio croissant and the feta cheese, tomato and arugula croissant but they had other choices as well they had a decent amount of things on their menu I also tried the maple oat latte and a matcha and everything was delicious I enjoyed the latte most ! The staff was very friendly and welcoming . The service was fast and the atmosphere was very nice and clean ! Definitely will be back to show more love and support .

Very nicely decorated coffee shop. Employs were friendly. Little hard find seat on the weekends as it’s busy . Metered street parking in the front . Price is average . Highly recommended.

Had such a lovely experience! Rabia helped take my friend and I's order. We both ordered hot lattes and they were originally brought out iced, they helped and remade them hot, but then they offered us to also keep the iced ones since they might have gone to waste otherwise.
Prices are pretty standard, but honestly not too crazy for a nice quick brunch outting. I had the turkey and cheddar sandwich and it was delightful, as well as a maple latte and chai. All fantastic. My friend also loved her same drinks and her salmon and cream cheese sandwich. The lotus shooter was also extremely good! Nothing too heavy or sweet.
All the workers were attentive and very nice. The decor and atmosphere are so beautiful. Honestly one of the most cohesive brandings for a Cafe I've seen in a long time and they stuck too it really well and elegantly. Might be one of my favorites I've seen in a while.
Definitely a need to come back and try more of the coffees and treats!

🎉📣 New Coffee shop alert in North New Jersey! It’s Palestinian/Yemeni owned and offers delicious desserts, light food, cafe drinks, and vibes. It’s so spacious and would make the perfect place to take your laptop.

They just opened on November 1 and will be adding more options in the coming weeks. I’m looking forward to going back and trying it all. My favorite thing I had there was the Yemeni Adeni tea - made with Nutmeg and Cloves.

This place is 100/10. The employees are the sweetest. The place is aestheticly pleasing and their deserts and drinks are amazing. I had their lotus shooters and dragon fruit drink. They have a ton of other options and can even print your picture or anything else on your coffee.

The seating is very comfortable and spacious! The coffee is STRONG, so if that's your thing, then YAY! If not, they will make it to your taste. The croissant sandwiches and stuffed croissants are delish!!! I'm a baker and their red velvet cookie is amazing 👏.
The atmosphere is wide open and clean, but still cozy!!!

This cafe was absolutely beautiful. The food, the atmosphere, the coffee and of course the wonderful staff. Our waitress Rabia was so kind and attentive. I will definitely be visiting Mokafe again and again.

Love this place. Came almost daily while traveling for work. 10/10 drinks, presentation, ambience, etc! the owners go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Truly accommodating and amazing staff! I would go back a 1000 times again. 5 stars is not even enough to describe how amazing this place is
