The food is outstanding here and the vibe is even better! Very attentive staff and lots of smiles. I also had the pleasure of being their live music entertainment one night and I had a blast! A great family owned and operated place. I will be back to watch other musicians perform on a Friday night. Best place in Ambler,PA!

All the food that came to our table looked yum! Especially the chicken and waffles for kids, and the French toast sticks. Some of the best looking kid food we’ve come across in a while. Would definitely recommend this place to friends.

My party had wonderful service. This place is right up our alley. Not a lot of places make cocktails this exceptional. We both had our favorite, French onion soup and it was delicious. The clams appetizer was my favorite. We enjoyed the clams and the broth with extra bread, it was fabulous. Our entrees were to die for. I should’ve ordered his short ribs because they were phenomenal. But my fried chicken and pickles sandwich was exactly what I was craving. The owner stopped over multiple times to check on us and chat. Our server was also extremely friendly and attentive. We were under our guess for the check which is always nice. Absolutely five stars!!!!!

Very nice inside! Two floors with bar, food and entertainment when they have live music. When it's nice out check out the upper deck seating over looking some of the town, super chill! Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area!

Our server, Amanda, was awesome. Her suggestions were a great treat. The food is spectacular! The Touch of Pineapple cocktail was amazing.

We came for the live music and the singer twas great. We had the andouille sausage and shrimp dish as well as the Summer Pie flatbread. They both were delicious. The drinks were also delicious! Me and my boyfriend have been here twice so far and have not been disappointed. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in Friday night for dinner. They had live music and the place was packed. We got a table right away anyway. Our waiter brought out drinks quickly and explained all the specials to us. The hot mess burger was awesome. Great food and great service, we will definitely be back.

We went for lunch. It was so beautiful inside. The staff was so nice. My son is on the spectrum and was not happy we went there but the staff soon changed his mind. The food was amazing. I will definitely go back again. Thank you so much for a great experience.

My husband and I took my brother and his wife to dinner here for his 60th birthday, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Every member of the staff was particularly attentive, especially our server Lindsey. I walked into the main restaurant from the patio and looked a little confused because I was looking for the restroom, and immediately a server said ‘let me show you the way’. I happened to mention to my husband that I definitely needed a new napkin, and then boom someone brought one to me. Not only did the staff respond quickly to requests, but they even anticipated our needs. Unfortunately, the restaurant ran out of two of the main entrées for the prix fixe special, but they told us immediately and even comped a much more expensive entrée for my brother, and I said that was very nice, especially since it was his birthday, and they even remembered it later and brought a lighted candle in his dessert. All of the food was fresh, and delicious, and if I have any complaint at all it’s that the short ribs portion was on the small side, but it was still excellent. The Caesar salad, although a standard menu item, was a stand out because the dressing was perfectly balanced and not over dressed. Both of our desserts: the raspberry donut cheesecake, and the Limoncello marscopone cake were delicious, but I think the limoncello cake was the real winner because it was so light and fresh that it didn’t make me feel full after the large dinner we had. Substantial and interesting beer and wine list.

This place was really good, our table fare was awesome my wife got short ribs and no need for knives fall off the bone, I had chicken 'n pickles sandwich and was off the hook crispy chicken zesty coleslaw, homemade potato chips hit the spot! Staff was very professional and patient with my son who is slightly on the spectrum and they tended to him with care and understanding.

Let's talk about how great this place is. We went in hoping for a summer dish Cajun shrimp pasta that they had on the menu last summer. When I'm realized they didn't have it my husband and I decided to go somewhere else. As we got to the door to leave the owner Bob stopped us to ask if everything was OK. I explained I wanted something specific. He instantly said we can make that for you anyways. He pointed to his son and said that's his favorite dish too he can totally make that for you. Trust me when I tell you it didn't disappoint. All the staff is amazing and very accommodating and this has quickly be one my favorite place to eat in Ambler!!!! You won't be disappointed

We had never been to Ambler and had tickets to see a friend at the ACT II Playhouse. We got to town early for dinner and a drink. I went to order my normal go-to cocktail and our fantastic server subtly mentioned maybe the bartender could concoct a drink if so desired and I went down that rabbit hole and requested something with "gin and cucumber". I let the bartender have full liberties and I am so glad I did! I got a wonderful gin, St Germaine, muddled cucumber with lime juice cocktail that was as refreshing as ever on this summer evening.
I got the burger and my wife the Tuna Niçoise. Both were delish and the homemade slaw that came with the burger was outstanding and I'm a big Cole Slaw connoisseur. We enjoyed this meal and would be hard -pressed to try anywhere else if out in Ambler again.....it was that good!
PS the fries were exceptional and good fries are a beautiful thing.

Really great spot in Ambler. We surprised them with a 10 seat lunch and they dealt with us no problem. Food was better than most and a few nice surprises.

Nice atmosphere and lively crowd on a Saturday night when we were there. Live music was great. The menu has a nice variety of interesting small plates , sandwiches, and entrees. They emphasize many locally sourced ingredients.

We went to Gypsy Blu in Ambler after googling “best restaurant in Ambler” and this popped up first.

Well it over - delivered. The food and drinks were superb. We began with a flatbread with carmelized onions, fig jam, balsamic, feta cheese, arugula. Amazing. In parallel, I had the Rum Me Over drink and my husband had the Spice on Ice Old Fashioned. Both superb.

We had a late lunch so dinner was only French Onion Soup and one of the best I have found. My husband had the Mushroom Risotto.

Our server Ryan was perfect. Right level of help, there when we needed him, thorough, efficient and knowledgeable. Add to that humble and fun. A catch for the ladies too.

We also had the manager Chris make sure we were doing fine. It’s always a nice touch that an extremely busy manager spends a few minutes to make sure your night is great.

We highly recommend Gypsy Blu in Ambler. We look forward to going again. Also, they have quite an event space and speakeasy we would love to use sometime as well. Don’t miss asking about it if you need a space.

Have only had delicious food on my three visits. Especially liked the ahi tuna salad. Great selection of beers on tap. Nice seats in summer outside or winter.

Lovely spot for weekend brunch. Pictured are the blueberry oatmeal pancakes, cheesesteak egg skillet, and the fried chicken and waffles. Everything was delicious!
I love the lobster Mac and cheese you can get at their gypsy tavern restaurant in Conshohocken. I was surprised to see they also had it on the menu here. I will definitely need to come back for lunch sometime soon just for that Mac and cheese.

What a Gem! If you are passing by or close the Area take the ride! This place is Great. Awesome vibes, awesome service, great brunch Menu, and the Owner comes by checking on you. Delightful for EVERYONE and for any event. PD: They are not taking reservations.

My Favorite " Cajun Shrimp with Pasta " and The Jewish Apple Cake was The best I've ever had in all my Life . BTW I'm a Senior ! Thanks , hugs ,,
