Smuggler's Cove

This is an edit from a previous review written from our first experience with Smugglers Cove. That review is deleted in place of this one.

Let me just say the food was really good. I had jumbo shrimp and jumbo scallop scampi and it was 10/10. There was no way they could have done better. My son had lobster Mac and cheese. Again 10/10, just fantastic. My other son got a lobster roll which he also enjoyed. For an appetizer we got calimari. I have lived in the area for over 25 yrs and I have only been there 2 times. Our first time wasn’t so good. But today the food was so good and best believe we will be back. I want to thank Rachael for reaching out as well as Alex our server tonight. If it wasn’t for Rachael I’m not sure we would have been back. That’s customer service. They will make it right. Talk about a very positive second chance. Well done team, well done.

We went to camelback for the weekend and felt like seafood
Everything was delicious! Loved the French onion soup and salad bar. The crabcakes were absolutely delicious with no fillers, just crab meat. Calamari were crispy. Loved the creme brulee. We had a great dinner.

Celebrated my son's 14th birthday here, and both the food, as well as the service, were fantastic!!! A table behind us even joined in, singing happy birthday, with our waitress 🥳

We visited on Friday night. We had a great server, Sky. We tried several dishes from the burger to crab legs. It was delicious. But our server made the experience awesome.

Food is excellent, and portion sizes are really good - I'm glad that the side of fries isn't overflowing on my plate and I'm glad the lobster is overflowing on my roll. Excellent service, too. Atmosphere is just okay, very outdated, but I'm glad I didn't judge on this alone.

We loved everything about this place! The food was good service excellent and drinks were delicious!

The place was spotless, the waitresses were accommodating and speedy, and they did a great job handling all the guests!

I ordered the fish and chips, which were very hot and tasty, they didn't have that frozen taste, but I'm no Chef Ramsay. Had the seafood gumbo, which was also very good!

I drank a Captain Morgan Margarita, which wasn't slacking alcohol! My fiance had the watermelon sangria, which was tasty, and I don't do fruity drinks.. lol

This past Friday my Husband and I decided to come eat at Smugglers Cove. The atmosphere was pleasant, but my concerns are more about the food but mostly the workers. Cant enjoy the food if service is bad. I’ve been to restaurants where waiters and waitresses are very unprofessional, rude and have an attitude and do not enjoy their job. But Friday was not the case. We had a waitress named Brittany. This young lady went above and beyond for us. She had a smile on her face when she greeted us, answered our questions and gave us some suggestions. Brittany went above and beyond to make sure we received excellent service! We were so delighted to have such a beautiful young lady serving us. I advise anyone who decides to eat here please request Brittany, she will not disappoint you! Smugglers Cove you are so lucky to have such an outstanding and professional employee working for you.

I haven't been here in literally decades and I was not disappointed! I stopped with my husband and our friends on Sunday, late afternoon. It was pretty crowded and we did not make a reservation, so we chose to sit at the bar. The bar tender was amazing. Service was TERRIFIC, and the food was SO GOOD. Highly recommend, but do suggest reservations, especially on the weekend.

We used to come here a lot, then stopped. Why? I don't know because the food and service is great. The parking lot is a little funny, so if it's a busy night and you drive a big truck it could be a challenge. Otherwise, be ready for some delicious food!

The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. The crab cake and London broil were absolutely amazing. The portions were just right and we will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

We had an amazing dinner tonight. The waitress (Alex), bar tender (Casey) and busboy all provided terrific service. The scallops, shrimp, haddock, and London broil were all cooked well and melted in our mouths. The sweet potato fries were a bot crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pumpkin cheesecake was delicious!! I can't wait to return!! Everyone we encountered was pleasant, caring, and hospitable. Np wonder Smuggler's Cove has been around for decades! They provide delicious food and amazing drinks!

My friend and I go to Smuggler Cove to celebrate our birthdays. We went to the one located in Tannersville, PA. The food was amazing as it always!! Brian was our server he was great!! He made sure we had everything we needed, he was friendly, very mannerly, and humorous at times. The food was amazing the service was great and the prices were reasonable. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone trying to find a place with great food and a relaxing atmosphere!!

The place was amazing, had an Olde English Cheddar, and it was exquisite, and I finished my meal with a Creme Brulee. The waiter was the nicest person ever. Best diner I've gone to in Pennsylvania with all my visits included! It's definitely a must when visiting Tannersville!

Service was exceptional. Caleb our waiter was just the most courteous and kind waiter you can have! He also had great recommendations/suggestions.

Kid-friendly, good portions

We love this place! The food is excellent. We drive from NJ! We recently had a great meal there and our waitress Kristi was awesome she was very friendly attentive and helpful. We’ve never had a bad experience with any other waitresses. She was just over the top!

We went on a Saturday Night. The drinks were Fantistic! The waitress Candace was Super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! This place is a Pocono Gem!! We will definitely be back!

I’m not sure if the picture even does it justice, but this Lobster and Crab Mac & Cheese was one of the best that I have ever tried. It was cheesy and gooey and the lobster pieces were huge! Not only that but the service and our server Tabatha was wonderful and super friendly. Can’t wait to come back here.

Never disappoints. Dates, 2 employee Xmas party, wedding day brunch , anniversary, family, friends any excuse to enjoy their food and drink. Service is always good and the bartender, he makes a delicious drink

Tonight's dinner was fantastic! Everything was cooked perfectly. I had the crab bowl with king crab claw and crab clusters. My husband had the stuffed shrimp. We shared 2 dozen steamed clam's. Our server, Brian was excellent and attentive and went out of his way to get us what we requested that wasn't on the menu.
