Friendly's

Such a treat! So many fond memories at this chain and James (owner operator) provided great reinforcement to those memories of the past. The quality of the ice cream is wonderful and from what I saw around the room portions and quality of the meals are quite sufficient. A number of 'boxes' were requested in our surroundings which is an indicator of portion quality... for me. Recommend this just for the nostalgia alone... Everything else is a bonus!

COVID has hit Friendly’s hard. Their family-friendly atmosphere has suffered as well as their location count. They filed bankruptcy in late 2020 and more than 300 locations shut down in the last decade. With little more than 100 left, they require our continued patronage to stay afloat.

The Friend-z’s were phenomenal. The ice cream is always stellar here. The food was excellent (extra points for using oyster crackers with the soup, it seems no one does that anymore) but I wasn’t crazy about the breading on the pickle fries.

Julian M was awesome. I’m sure Tannersville business would pick up with more servers of his caliber!

Our server Lisa was so nice! We came in around 8 and she was quick with getting our order and the food was amazing! We got ice cream and she made it perfectly. The little cat sticker on our receipt was so cute too!!! Thank you so so much for your wonderful service tonight!

We loved the food and the friendly and smiling server. Our order consisted of chicken wrap, chicken tenders, fish and chips, and a Philly cheese steak. Every dish was excellent and incredibly tasty. Although the space may not be impressive, it was clean and well-maintained.

Excellent experience. Food was great. I had clam strips that were great, reminded me of Howard Johnson's. Service was excellent, right on target. The atmosphere was great, friendly, comforting and cozy. Great job.

Good American food, reasonable prices. Wait staff here were particularly pleasant and helpful. The Friendly's restaurants are very much family-with-kids oriented restaurants, so you have to expect some noise and behaviors that come with kids. They have outdoor seating, which looked quite nice (hard to tell in the snow) and plenty of parking around the building. Don't skip dessert! Love the ice cream!

While a bit hungry, we found this place near the snow tubing area and gave it a try! First time here, and it was a good experience! Chicken sandwich was great, not too greasy, not overwhelmed with sauce or mayonnaise, just well done! Ice cream is a must; great flavors and texture! Friendly fast-food spot in PA!

A tasty meal at this Friendly's is always a fun and memorable part of our ski trips to Camelback Mountain. It's a great family atmosphere and the menu selections hit the spot after a long day skiing!

We are from out of town, visited this location for dinner on Christmas Eve, it was a bit of a wait, but food was yummy and service by Emily was even better. She was working the tables, the front, ice cream, etc she was doing it all without missing a step. Would return whenever we visit again!

So excited to find a Friendly's off of 80 in PA!! Bring 'em back!!

Food very flavorful. We were a party of six and everyone enjoyed their breakfast. I ordered a veggie omelette and it was the best omelette I ever had. French toast, thick and delicious.

this place is great! i went after dinner and it was the best ice cream ever. the atmosphere is very nice and the waiter (zion) was the best waiter ever!!! he didn’t need a notepad and remembered every persons order. he was also very friendly, like the restaurant name. great place 10/10 recommend.

Very clean, and the food came quick and fresh. The wall design was so my style! I would stop here if you are traveling. I’m on my way to Ohio, and this was a great stop! So kid friendly.

Everything was super delicious! The burger, the chicken, french fries and ice cream are all super yummy! The employees are very friendly and kind. Service was very fast! Entire restaurant was spotless, very clean. Prices are just right. The decoration and theme inside is very nice! Its a mix of modern pop art on some walls, with a nice old fashioned mix of indoor window wall seperators, and 1950s style dinner booths & tables.. with 1950s classic friendlys ads mounted on the walls too. Plenty of parking. Free parking. It was a great experience! Thank you!

I love the interior and the place was super clean! the ice cream is super good and our waiter Zion was the soooo nice! he memorized the whole order it was very impressive!

I love friendlies. They stand by their name and always feels like a friendly and family environment. Love the icecream options. Can't go wrong eating here

I had to sit in car with our dog, (coming back from trip). Our waiter, male; Sunday pm.after Thanksgiving... brought me my food!!!!!!!!! you the car!!!!

Alissa was awesome. Very busy and we are demanding lol and she never missed a beat. Great customer service. Tips are earned and she definitely earned every bit! Thanks to her made our breakfast great. Food was great. Not a long weight considering how busy it was. Great place great food and most of all service. Little disappointed with the restrooms. Needs some maintenance and cleaned.

Really nice stand alone restaurant, service was slow as they didn't have a lot of ppl working (waiter told us ahead of time) and there were a lot of parties. Food was good and order was right. Really one of the great friendlys left.
