Just as good as I remembered!!! Back in 2019 the previously owned 2nd location in Ambler caught my eye and I had to stop in. I fell in love with this place, from the gorgeous cupcakes, to the delicious grilled cheese and tomato soup! I always meant to go back for the croissants that looked to die for and sure enough when I visited in North Wales yesterday for the first time, I was not disappointed! This is my favorite bakery.

All the baked goods looked incredible! We got two "breakfast" sandwiches, and they were top tier! You can't call them "breakfast" sandwiches. They are incredible sandwiches you eat before 10:30! I'm definitely going back!

The best breakfast and sweets you’ll ever have. Staff makes you feel like family. The Frenchie breakfast sandwich is incredible. The chocolate croissant and almond amaretto croissants are personal faves.

I'm not sure where to start, but I will try my best. This place is amazing. My husband and I came in for lunch on a Friday, today, and had the Crunchy Turkey Avocado Sandwich and the Bello mushroom sandwich both with tomato bisque soup. Although the order took some time as it was very busy, the food was delicious. So fresh with flavors that paired very well together. My husband was impressed with how tender the mushrooms were. And the sandwiches were healthy and hearty serving wise. The soup was absolutely flavorful, hearty, and oh so good! We also ordered some sweets to go. And despite being full and not even home yet, we couldn't help but try them at the risk of hurting ourselves from fullness lol. The dough-sant is a sure winner, flaky, buttery and sweet. While the white chocolate vanilla cupcake was very decadent it took everything in me not to eat the whole thing despite being full from a great lunch. The staff is very nice, funny, and pleasant to talk with. We are new to the area and want to Thank you so much for everything you do. We truly appreciate the experience we had today and are so happy the first bakery we decided to try in the area was this one! We will be back for those fresh chocolate croissants. Lol

Super friendly staff. The Crunchy Turkey Avacado is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Perfect amounts of Turkey, Avacado, Bacon and dijonnaise on a fresh slightly toasted baguette. They offer outdoor seating. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in North Wales.

Alice Bakery is the best! I used to go to their Ambler location (now closed) and I finally got to their North Wales location over the weekend. The cakes, baked goods, bread, and sandwiches are delicious and the service has always been excellent. Check this place out for yourself!

Adorable and tasty little bakery shop. Their cupcakes revived the notion of cupcakes for some, and their chicken salad sandwiches are quite good. The service is excellent, personable, and will probably give you a hard time if you come in more than once. Which you will.

Dennis and Lizzie did a wonderful job coordinating our large wedding order this past December! All our guests raved about how fresh and delicious the cupcakes were- we highly recommend! They no longer deliver for weddings, but the pick up process was seamless!

Hands down the best French bakery in the greater Philly area. Take it from a French person, their chocolate croissants (pain au chocolat) are THE best I have ever eaten. Layered, crispy, chocolatey - pure bliss. They also offer regular croissants, scones, sticky buns, pies, a variety of breads too. I haven’t tried everything just yet, but everything I had was absolutely delicious (like the sea salt rolls!). There is also cozy indoor seating (and outdoor too). Last but not least, the lady behind the counter as well as the owner Dennis are super super nice. I drive 30 minutes from my place to get there and it is so worth it. Many more trips in the future!

My son and I stopped in this lovely little bakery right in the heart of North Wales today. It was well worth the trip! They have a beautiful selection of tasty pastries, both sweet and savory; several varieties of quiche, fluffy and light with fresh vegetables in a crisp crust; and flaky filled croissants. Everything we tried was delicious. The owner, Dennis, and his team are welcoming and friendly to all who enter. A mainstay on Main Street for 13 years, this locally owned business is treasure for both the high quality of its baked goods, and their sincere and caring attitude toward the community and its members.

We just had one of the best breakfasts ever — what big city, over-priced eateries wish they could serve. There should be a line out of the door every morning. Visit ASAP, a fantastic local business to support.

I had the The Johnny Boy ($7.95): avocado, whole wheat toast, salt, pepper, scallions, hot pepper flakes, two slices of bacon, two sunny side up eggs, chives, and extra virgin olive oil.

We had a gender reveal cake made by Alice Bakery - the cake was delicious, decorated beautifully, and priced right! The baker went out of his way to make sure there were no traces of anything that might give away the reveal prior to cutting! We will definitely be back for everyday pastries and more cakes in the future!!

Went for the first time yesterday, BEST BREADS OF MY LIFE!!!!! There is nothing comparable. We had a delicious breakfast with wonderful service and I took home a whole wheat bread loaf, several salt rolls, and croissants. The quality is OUT OF THIS WORLD. My friend who was with me literally said "I didn't realize bread could taste like this." The chocolate croissant is to DIE for. I mean...it's a spiritual experience.

This was my first time ever going to Alice Bakery today. For a first visit the place felt very home like, in terms of relaxing and being comfortable. Victoria the waitress that works there is very nice and a polite. The food was excellent, I had the BLATT on wheat bread, a garden salad and a sticky bun. I recommend this place to anybody that's in the North Wales, PA area whether visiting or living in the area. If you wondering what to eat, get the BLATT on wheat bread and the garden salad with a sticky bun.

TL; DR: must stop by for pastries and food! Just as good as some NYC and European bakeries 😊

Where do I start? In the times of covid, we took a much needed 1 week getaway from NYC and landed at a cute renovated house on Airbnb in North Wales. Our airbnb hosts recommended this spot, and we were excited to check it out! Everyone was very friendly, and Dennis the owner chatted with us for a bit about the area and menu which was nice.

We picked up some goodies and lunch during a weekday and got the grilled cheese, tomato basil soup, crunchy turkey avocado sandwich, mushroom soup, chocolate chip cookie, and a croissant. Everything was delicious, and I really loved the grilled cheese/tomato soup combo as well as the gooey cookie & flaky croissant.

I decided to put in an order for a couple days later on Saturday so that I could freeze the pastries and bring them home for some friends and family since they're not open on Sundays at the moment.

Croissants: almond, chocolate, chocolate hazelnut, salmon, anything and everything - please get at least 1 but probably more than 1 of these. Look at the photos of how crispy and layered they are! The texture is amazing, and you may have to grab some to go! They use Plugra butter (higher butterfat content) and King Arthur Flour which are both super high quality.

The gouda bread was still warm when they wrapped it up for me and was so amazing!! Perfectly aged gouda with the bread, that was one of my favorite flavors!

I'm so excited to try the crumb cake, muffins, doughsant, and chive cheddar biscuits in the freezer!! Do yourself a favor and stop by when you're in the area or whenever you want to treat yourself! Support a local business, and if you have any custom requests for the holidays, I'm sure Dennis would be able to whip up something delicious! We will definitely be back when in the area!

PS go earlier since they close early to mid afternoon or else some things will sell out. Maybe call beforehand if you're driving out for a little bit or order a few days ahead!

Excellent place. Nice atmosphere. The staff is kind and always trying to please you. The food is amazing, all of it. We begin our weekend eating breakfast here. And yes, a couple of pastries too! Thanks Dennis, Ria and Phillip. You are the best!

Dennis/Alice Bakery saved the day when the cake I had lined for an event up fell through with 24 hours' notice. Dennis was helpful and responsive, and he created a beautiful, moist, and delicious cake that even the non-cake people enjoyed. Photo attached in poor lighting with name crossed out for privacy. I'll order again and give more notice next time! Thank you, Dennis!
