Ambler Pediatrics has been my son’s pediatrician for the past 12 years. Dr. Serota visited my son when he was born at Abington Hospital. We feel at home there. Most of our visits we have seen Jo Ann, we love her. She knows us and what’s going on in our lives. My son was in a very bad car accident the summer of 2022. They were gentle, kind, and caring. They have also been very supportive to me over the years. I can’t say enough good things about this practice.

My family has been going to Amber Pediatrics (AP) since the birth of our child. 14 years later, we are still going to AP for all things concerning the health and well-being of our child. The office staff, nurses and doctors genuinely care about our child. The doctors go the extra mile to understand the intricacies of each child they work with. Whether it be what makes them laugh, what activities they are into at school or how they respond to certain situations. My child feels this connection which allows her to be comfortable at the doctor’s office. AP is an amazing practice with employees who are honest, communicate well and have a great deal of knowledge. In these times when American Healthcare is unraveling and we are paying more for less care, AP is the exception. They have given us and our child the best experience of quality care in American Healthcare. Thank you.

Our family has been going to Ambler pediatrics for over 16 years. Their passion, concern, and dedication to babies and parents is unmatched. In an era where impersonal large hospital systems have taken over Pennsylvania, this family practice remains personable, consistent, and committed to the health, well-being, and growth of its patients. Drs. Serota have years of experience caring for, diagnosing, and treating patients. They are like family!

Since the birth of our daughter in December 2022 we have been going to Ambler Pediatrics - as you can imagine (or have experienced) as first time parents we’ve had a number of concerns, a bazillion questions and lots of (sometimes unnecessary) worries. Everyone at the office but in particular Joanne our nurse practitioner has always taken the time to listen patiently to all of our concerns and offer wonderful recommendations and advice. Their treatment of our little one has been wonderful. I couldn’t recommend a better doctor’s office for anyone looking for a pediatrician.

We switched to Ambler Pediatrics recently. The staff is always friendly. They don’t know how to have a bad day. The Doctors are amazing. They are kind, thorough and engaged with my child. There isn’t a wait for an appointment. I wish I had come here long ago. Best Drs. around!

We have been going to Ambler Pediatrics since the birth of our daughter last year. Being first time parents we have probably had more visits than needed/expected, however this Saturday we had one of the most pleasant and just overall great experiences ever. Joanna Surota is an amazing PA. Caring, nurturing, motherly qualities, outstanding bedside manner. Our daughter usually screams and cries however-Joanna played with her stuffed animals, let her play with her stethoscope and tongue depressor, showed her the otoscope before looking in her eyes, throat and ears. We can’t say enough good things about this person. Everything you want in a caring nice person who you can tell has her own children, and just happens to be health clinician. This is the way it should be! I HIGHLY recommend Joanna at Ambler pediatrics if you are shopping around as first time parents or looking to switch to a small family practice that cares for their little patients like family. I can’t put into words how wonderful our experiences with Ambler Pediatrics have been. Having a newborn is a beautiful, yet super scary thing, and finding a pediatrician that we could trust with our newborn was at the top of our priority list. Within 5 minutes of our first appointment with Joanne, we knew this was the perfect place to bring our baby. We have met with Joanne about six times and every time she has been one of the most caring people we have ever experienced. You can tell that she is very experienced and has so much background knowledge, and took time to answer every one of our questions thoroughly and make sure we felt comfortable. She takes time to check in on how we’re doing and always emphasizes that we can call at any time we’re feeling worried or unsure, even if we’re worried it may be something silly to ask about. We met with Dr. Johnson once and she was just as amazing! It is very clear that everyone at this practice loves what they do, have incredible knowledge working with children, and just make you feel right at home. If you’re looking for a pediatrician, you can’t go wrong with Ambler Pediatrics!

Our experience with Ambler Pediatrics have only been amazing. All staff and doctors are knowledgeable, kind, and friendly, and they definitely helped us relax a bit during the new parent phase. We're a bit more experienced now with two children, but still trust everyone at Ambler Pediatrics to provide the best care for our children. Highly recommended.

Our recent challenges with healthcare and resources have been so confusing, but Dr. Johnson continues to be very supportive with her expertise and guidance. Thank you all!

I went here as a baby, grew up coming here, and now I bring my children here. The pediatrician who took care of me as a baby is the same doc who now takes care of my babies. It’s nice to have a more personal experience with doctors who take the time to get to know you and your family. It’s also great that we still have some “ Old school“ docs Who actually know their stuff from years of experience. Joann Serota is excellent, and I appreciate the time she takes to listen to me and not rush. I never feel judgment as a parent, it’s a safe place. I trust the ambler pediatric family wholeheartedly. Not to mention, they have a very cool saltwater aquarium in the waiting room that your children will enjoy. And the wait time is very short. They handle covid protocol so well. A hidden gem.

We LOVE Ambler Pediatrics! Dr. Serota and Dr. Johnson are terrific and so knowledgeable and JoAnn is the absolute best! Everyone on the staff, from the receptionist to the nurses and billing folks, are all so kind and caring. It really has that ‘family’ practice feel, we’ve always been seen right away and call backs in off hours have always been quick. Highly recommend for personalized, expert care!

I have.been at Ambler Pediatrics for over 9 years and I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about the practice, doctors and nurses. It is a mom and pop office with all the modern knowledge and amenities of big “chain” practice. If I call with a concern I receive a call back with in the hour. If I need a sick appointment for one of my children I get an appoinment the same day. I feel like they have made me a more confident parent because of the abundance of knowledge and support that they provide to to the entire family.

Excellent care. My daughter has been a patient since she was an infant. They actually came to see her in the hospital before we took her home, and they've been wonderful to us. She's now 17. Dr. Johnson is outstanding!

Love how accessible they are when we need an appointment/advice. We love Dr Johnson. She is great!
