The Green Fork and Local Roots Market

My three fellow diners and I all enjoyed our food choices, which varied from vegan to meat. Everything was fresh and delicious.
Our server was Victoria (if I remember correctly?) and she was friendly and efficient and we really enjoyed talking to her! There was also a hostess that greeted us when we first arrived and she was also extremely helpful and pleasant. This restaurant has a great staff!

This place is sneaky awesome. It doesn't feel super fancy inside, and the staff is casual but really nice. But... OH MY GAWD. So friggin good. We have dumb food allergies in our family and were able to eat delicious food at this byob. Oddly affordable. l o v e

Today was the 2nd time we came to this magical place, and we will continue to come because their food is UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS and most importantly can be made Gluten Free or Vegan. I honestly avoid going out for breakfast because I am gluten intolerant, but when I come here I don't have to worry!!! Not only that, gluten free options are usually hit or miss especially when it comes to waffles or pancakes or french toast....well not here. The French toast was scrumptious, the waffles are so moist and you can taste pumpkin in every bite. This is a local gem, and we are lucky to have it within driving distance!!!

Lovely restaurant with a great ambiance. Tons of vegetarian and vegan choices as well as healthy options. I really enjoyed the food and everything tasted very high quality. The restaurant has beautiful plants in the windows and is very cute. I have actually been here once before and there was live music which was awesome. I will definitely be back!

This place is definitely one of the best non-major restaurants I've been to. The whole environment is super cozy and nice and the staff/waitresses are all so nice and understanding. The menu really has things for everyone. All of the food was exceptional and all reasonably priced as well! The showcase was superb and honestly I just loved it all. We even had the pleasure of listening to live music. I would recommend the cheese plate! 10/10

Yummy, healthy and quaint! Such a great local restaurant with tasty food and treats. Perfect for a post yoga brunch. Plenty of options for vegan, non vegan and gluten free.

The Green Fork always has delicious vegan options for me which is very hard to find elsewhere. They also have regular non-vegan food so you can invite anyone to come dine with you. The service was prompt and polite and I can 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great local eatery.

Where to begin... The place is clean. Service is great. Vibe is peaceful... Food, wow.. If your vegan you need to come here! If not you still need to come here!

Absolutely adorable little place, has a general store vibe. The food is excellent, highly recommend this place for a reasonable breakfast or lunch date. They are practicing social distancing and everyone including cooks has a mask on. We got an appetizer (caprese flatbread) and strawberry pancakes, along with a beautiful salmon sandwich. All of which was delicious. Service was excellent overall experience was superb, will return for sure.

Another great experience at the Green Fork. We both ended up getting specials, Spicy Chicken and Waffles sandwich with bacon and cheese; Pecan, bacon, Apple pancakes; along with pumpkin seed and parmesan soup. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was great even though the restaurant was full. Each time the food seems to get better and better.

Delicious ham sandwich, great dressing on salad! Eclectic atmosphere made especially for local grown feel. Small items for sale from area craftsmen. Over all lovely.

The food was soooo good! They serve their whole menu all day, which is great. Their biggest draw was they had a LOT of vegetarian/vegan options, but there was dishes with meat, too. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The little market in the back was cute, too! They do accept cards, but they ask that you try and use cash, as they are a small business.

Back again and I got the salmon entree. It was a little pricey but it was worth every cent! It has an orange glaze with vegetables served on top and celery root mash underneath. Probably one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had. I love this restaurant and can't wait to go back and try something new.

Food was amazing, loved the atmosphere. They have a quiche du jour and I'm kind of excited to go back so I can try another kind of quiche. Wrap was delicious and their grits are cooked southern style. Id go in just for them honestly.

Amazing discovery for people with special dietary needs! The menu offers a wide variety of gluten-free, vegetarian, and even vegan alternatives. The wait staff was incredibly kind, and the food was absolutely great. The food is really extensive, and the setting is very adorable and intimate. It's crucial to support small companies, and the food took some time, but it was well worth the wait! Parking is available behind the structure. I heartily recommend dining here!

this food maintains the perfect balance between nourishing, delicious and affordable. Also I was never into shrimp and grits until I tried theirs. Truly the best I've ever had.

Really nice place, right in the main downtown area. Really cute local business with great food. Byob, which is great. We felt the portions were very fair, and that we got a lot of food for the price. Very friendly service. Loved the vendor spots/showcases for other small local businesses. Food was healthy but delicious! Will definitely come back.

Went here for a 40th bday brunch, and we had a great time. The owner was very kind, the servers were helpful and nice, and the food was excellent.
