Sakana Japanese sushi bar and grill(Garden City)

Sakana gets 5-Stars every time we go. The Kyrin beer is always fast, cold and buy-one-get-one-free during Happy Hour. The sushi is always cold, fresh, and delicious. The service is excellent. The staff is friendly. Love sitting at the bar.

Excellent food and great service. I ordered the Tempura shrimp & chicken. It included a side salad and soup. Everything was good.

$1 Sushi night Monday and Tuesdays brings everyone in! Our favorite roll is the Hanna Roll. Yum! And you can order to go!!

Love going here with friends for delicious, authentic food thats worth the price. Service is fast, the servers are attentive and accommodating and the chefs are fantastic. I'd been turned off of sushi before going here because of places like Fujiyama with fake tasting, mediocre sushi. The food here, sushi and otherwise, truly changed that for me. I cant get enough, truly!

Great rolls at moderately good prices. Awesome drink selection. I'd recommend the sake mojito. This place isn't Fujiyama (which I've also reviewed), but for a sushi place in the slums of Boise, they've got it going on!

The food was absolutely incredible. We have several dishes and absolutely everything surpassed all expectations. The staff was friendly and attentive. Everything was clean and well spaced out. I WILL be going back!

It is my favorite Japanese food in Boise area. Inexpensive but great quality, original plates, fresh, made by a real sushi chef. The real deal within reach. Who told you that Japanese food had to be expensive...

We had Jeremiah for the first time and he was awesome! Super helpful, attentive, and cheerful. We always have great service here but he was our favorite server by far!

Bento boxes are so good! Fish is always very fresh and tasty. I always order sashimi bento. Hand rolls are super good too. Highly recommend.

Very fresh and tasty fish in the sushi and sashimi. The portions are very good and they have a dollar sushi selection on Monday and Tuesday.

Great food, when all the other 'fad' restaurants can't keep a reservation on time, Sakana is always ready to seat us.

I always enjoy going to this restaurant this time I have the Ana noodles and they were some of the best I had so far, they are flavorful and next time I will try that dish but with the udon noodles
