Harry and George are the best! GT has been my mechanic for 13 years and I couldn’t be happier with them. They are always upfront about costs, and costs are reasonable. They are polite, courteous and prompt. My car is very old so I happened to mention that I was in the market for a new one this visit. George and Harry took the time to talk to my husband and I about how they could help us sell my car for a good price and what to look for in a new car, even though it was close to closing time. Great service as always at GT Automotive! As a woman, it is sometimes hard to find a mechanic you trust. I know the team at GT will always take care of me and treat me fairly.

My car was due for inspection, and I was having a hard time getting a hold of my normal place so I googled a spot that does inspection near me, and I am so glad I did! I called on Monday and got an appointment for Tuesday. In the morning on Tuesday, I received a comprehensive text message accompanied with pictures showing me all the damage on my brakes (from previous poor service). I then received a call, and Harry explained even further. They were able to get everything done for my car done in a day. When I picked up the car in the evening, Harry had printed out before and after pictures with explanations of the work as well as the deteriorated condition of the parts that needed replacing. I am SO happy that I went to GT Automotive, and we will be taking both of our cars here for inspection and oil changes moving forward! Thank you for your thorough work and helping me to better understand everything along the way! ☺

I drove into your shop for an oil change in September 2021 and for a quote to repair a headlight and turn signal connection that wasn't holding.

You not only did all work that made my old car seem new but you repaired it for a reasonable price. Plus, I not only learned about how my electrical system worked and why it wouldn't keep the headlight or turn signal working and lit but how it got that way.

You also had noticed a dangerous CV mechanism and that was repaired as well. I'll be returning again real soon for other repairs.

You are all a gift to the cities in which you provide your services, especially Ambler. I am grateful to have walked into your garage for a quote. You are some of the kindest and honest people I met in Ambler.

This place was fantastic. The owner and all staff treated me like family. They explained everything and actually showed me what they were talking about. I got a flat tire on the way home from vacation with my wife and kids and they made the whole situation feel much better. I was from out of state and my car broke down when I got to Ambler. I was beside myself and call several mechanic and no one could take me. I went to GT without an appointment, explained my situation and there were no questions asked other than may I have the keys. The did their best to make sure my car was not only fixed but did a once over to make sure it was safe to drive home in. The gave me before and after photos of what was done, I was not over charged and felt confident when i picked up my car. They were so nice! Thank you Harry for taking care of me!

As a single woman moving here from out of state It was important to find a place to take my car and know they would be honest and knowledgeable about what needed to be done and reasonable prices. Lived in a quite a few states and dealt with numerous mechanics. GT provides quality service at reasonable prices. They are happy to provide specifics on the work being performed and not simply providing a quick fix to get you in and out. Will not push to do unnecessary work either. May find a few other shops slightly cheaper, but you will ultimately get what you pay for. They do a quality and thorough job.

We trust GT Auto for inspections, oil changes, and mechanical repairs and improvements like installing a trailer hitch on our SUV. Harry and the team always do an excellent "above and beyond" job! GT Auto has been servicing our vehicles, and those of our neighbors, for many years now. We've never had a bad experience with GT Auto.
Sure, they find (legitimate) problems with the vehicles every now and again, which is why we use them. I got a flat tire on the PA Turnpike a few months ago - in my 10-year old vehicle. The tow truck driver said he's never seen a spare tire that old that was in such good condition AND completely inflated. Little did I know that GT Auto checks and maintains my spare tire during every oil change! Not only did their impeccable service save me the cost of a tow, but they repaired my tire and had me back on the road within the hour, with no scheduled appointment.
GT Auto is the only mechanic we use for our vehicles and we highly recommend them.

GT Automotive is simply the BEST in show! The detail that is given to each service appt is by far what makes this place the very model of what automotive service SHOULD be. It starts with the phone call....whether it's Gail or Vicky or Harry or George who answer, you just know they will make your need for help a priority and find a way to accommodate. We simply wouldn't still be driving both of our older model cars if GT Automotive and their team of EXCEPTIONAL service people and technicians weren't overseeing their care! Harry made room on an already busy schedule for the day before Thanksgiving. My passenger front window had been stuck in the down position for over 10 days -- not feeling the love from the dealer! Harry not only fixed the issue but had to send around for the part as well as two wiper blades because one was useless and the other was on its last legs!
Then the patience of his counter person (Lady) as i cobbled out the payment cause it came it at more than was available on my debit card alone; then manually entering the debit card, which parenthetically I am fairly sure is high cost to them than the swipe, cause the card has been giving me issues when swiped as credit -- Credit Union, not feeling the love. Great service, Great patience, superior customer care as I needed the car on thankgiving to both work and eat my turkey diner with family in West Chester, PA. Kudos for above and beyond the highest merits of care and service. Thanks so very much, GT AUTOMOTIVE!!!
