My husband and I ate here for the first time last week. The service was friendly, atmosphere was nice, and the food was outstanding. I loved that the owners, husband and wife, took the time to talk to us. I highly recommend Il Boscaiolo!!

A family run business. If you love southern Italian cuisine, this is the place for you. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. Pictured calamari Fra divalo, scallops, chicken and mushrooms and baked ziti.

The service is totally fantastic, food is out of this world authentic. Plus, you know an Italian place has to be good if the guys in this painting are there too... :)

Tonight we went for dinner me and my family first time other people I know told me about this place and me tell you something I got to know the owner his name Antonio his wife sweetheart the food I cannot discover unbelievable good old fashion Italian food pasta al dente the sauce you can drink it the balsamic vinegar homemade the place so beautiful if I can give them 10*I well I eat in every restaurant in PA include Emeril Lagasse in Florida this is one of the number ones I discover thank you Antonio keep doing what you doing everybody proud of you beautiful dishes the waitress I forget her name but she’s really Good I call Her not awaits staff she’s a sales woman thank you again for a wonderful meal❤❤❤❤❤

What makes this restaurant so favorable is the kindness of the staff to make your visit pleasurable. You want real heavy cream for your coffee instead of half and half, the chef will pour it personally. The young woman who waited on us was just so eager to make us happy. Her attitude was contagious and probably made us better diners.
The food was wonderful. The marinara was delicious. As you know, not every sauce is created equal and this chef could turn out a sauce that made you want to lick the plate.
There are signs on the menu about gluten free options and requests to not share. My sister and I ordered a chicken Parm and an eggplant Parm with different pastas. We told the waitress we were going to split our dinners so we could have both choices. The kitchen staff provided all the little extras like plates, knives and serving spoons to make sharing easier.
I do want to mention that this restaurant does have a calamari fra diablo dish on the menu. The menu has the safe Italian choices like baked rigatoni, ravioli and lasagna. I love when a restaurant is creative. This restaurant is not creative, they do not offer nightly specials or have a soda fountain. They don't serve Italian coffee, though the tv is set to watch Italian news in Italian.
This restaurant deserved all the stars simply because the family was invested in me, the diner.

We went for the first time last night. We were a party of 5 and everyone in our party agreed that the food was delicious and hot. I highly recommend anything with the vodka sauce. Our server was excellent and made us feel as though she was welcoming us into her home. We have plans to go again. (And again!)

I had the lobster ravioli in vodka sauce. It was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend this place. Big portions, family owned/operated, really great food!

I ordered the chicken parmigiana. The sauce wasn't too acidic, their homemade balsamic vinaigrette was delicious, and the bread... The entree was so large, I ended up making 3 meals of it. The atmosphere is cozy, the wait staff attentive. We will definitely be returning!

This is real deal authentic Italian cuisine. My husband and I would come here all the time and the waiter and waitress are always very kind and offer great service. Sometimes it gets very busy and you can see the two working extremely hard to keep up. They always remember our order when we come back! It amazes me. Please support local business! Amazing Italian 🇮🇹 food. Great quite, clean and friendly family owned restaurant with large size portions.

My family ate here two times over the past year. The first time was for our anniversary during lockdown. My husband tried to get a similar dish I had in Italy and they were able to match the dish from their menu based off of a picture he showed them. Our food was very good! I forget the dish I had but my husband ordered the Ocean Pasta..

The second time was yesterday for New Years Eve. The wait was super long which we didn't mind. We ordered the Frank Sinatra (delicious!), Ocean Pasta (second time ordering it)and Kids Spaghetti and Meatballs (typical dish for kids). There were more than enough food for leftovers and could easily have been broken into 3 smaller meals. I thought I needed two kids meals but one would have been enough for a 4 and 2 year old. It's a little pricey but we did order dishes with seafood and you get ALOT of it!

The lady on the phone was very helpful and patient when I was trying to figure out the name of a dish and other questions I had. We definitely will be going back!!

Superb food at a reasonable price. Menu has something for everybody. A bit crowded on Saturday night, we'll make a reservation next time. We ate on the patio and really enjoyed the experience. The owners are to be applauded for what they've done. Lansdale is a dining destination with so many excellent businesses.

Excellent southern Italian cooking with lots of garlic pieces. Service is fast and courteous. Prices are a little on the high side. Desserts are limited to 3 or 4 store bought choices and are small.
The appetizers are suppose to be for 3-4, but actually for 1 adult and 1 child.

This place is amazing! Family owned and family run. Mom and dad cooking and kids waitressing. This is some of the best Italian food I've ever had. The food was piping hot, fresh, and portion sizes are large. I can't wait to go back.

Nice Friday night dinner with friends! Food was great and the dinner portion size is huge! Enough to eat and still able to take some home for the next day! Michael our server was friendly and helpful with any questions we had!

Had my future daughter in laws bridal shower over the weekend and had IL Boscaiolo prepare the food. I was a little concerned because her family is very Italian and did not know if the food would stand up to their scrutiny. Want to let you know that everything was exceptional. I had chicken parm., grilled salmon, and tortellini in a blush sauce. They also threw in salad, garlic rolls and sauteed spinach. The menu more than accommodated the variety of eaters which included some vegetarians. I could not have been more than pleased with the quantity and quality of the food. Will definately be using them again for their catering and also going to the restaurant for a meal out as the atmosphere and staff are wonderful.

This is a great Italian restaurant with great service. The prices are very reasonable and you will probably get more food than you can eat, so takeout box will be needed. Good selection but remember the focus is on Italian cuisine.
They have great homemade bread topped with olive oil and garlic.
It is on the small side and very clean.
We've been there twice now in three weeks and both times the food was delicious. Our friends thought so to.
This is a family-run restuarant and is a BYO and they do accept reservations.
