It's been a few years now that I've been going to Doctor Varner. Not sure why now I decided write a review. But as I'm driving down the road able to see everything, it hit me and made me feel appreciative of him. Several years I was going to the eye doctor for eye migraines and all. They all prescribed me glasses but the glasses were never right. My eyes were strained all the time, I could see, but not completely. So then I went to Doctor Varner at the advice of my wife. Turns out every doctor was getting my stigmatism wrong. (If that's how you spell it). So I got my first pair with Dr Varner, he also had them slightly off as apparently it's a small window to get it correct. I went back to him a few days later and he replaced the lenses with new lenses that week. My vision is now perfect and I can finally see perfectly. My eye migraines are more or less gone. Very rare in fact. I could not be happier with how patient this man is. Very much appreciate being able to see as I drive down the road today and will continue to recommend Dr Varner.

Had my first exam with Dr. Varner and it was an easy and enjoyable process from the first time I called to schedule my appointment all the way through to selecting my new glasses. Dr. Varner and his staff are very personable and were thorough in providing clear information and answering my questions. He has a nice selection of eyeware on location and will take the time to show you other options that may not be readily available. I will definitely be sticking with this practice and my husband will be making an appointment as well, swtiching from his current eye care provider.

I first starting going to Dr varner on recommendations from co-workers when I worked at whole foods in North Wales. His hours are crazy but I'll only ever go to him! He talks you through everything he's doing, never pressures any decisions, gives you up front and through pricing options based on your insurance, and has great base prices anyway! Besides the crazy hours, scheduling is painless with a friendly real person who answers the phone. If he takes your insurance, and you're down for the small town vibe, you should definitely check him out!

I'm sharing this because it is a tiny miracle I experienced today. My daughter has had 3 head injuries in 6 months and is still having debilitating random headaches and eye pain. Her concussion specialist recommended we see a developmental optometrist and neuro-optometry specialist. First off they are hard to find, secondly they have long wait lists and 3rd they usually don't take insurance. I was getting frustrated and stopped by our family eye doctor, Dr. Jeffrey Varner. He gave me a recommendation right away which he sought out months ago because of a previous need we had. Anyway, I called and got an appointment...wait for it...next Thursday! She will have this evaluation before her neurologist appointment. I can not recommend Dr. Varner enough

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions you may have. Does eye exams for the whole family and also sells glasses, contacts, and sunglasses. Cannot recommend him enough!

Just had my first eye exam with Dr Varner. Small location but good selection of eye wear and I was very pleased with my exam!
