Jeff from Janville was the one that worked with me getting my roof fixed. I had other companies come out for estimates but I went with Janville. Jeff was easy to deal with and the workers who came out work nice and friendly. They also came out quick and knocked it out in pretty much one day with some minor work the following day. They worked all day and night and finished before known storms would be coming in that week. The price was pretty good as well as I was honestly thinking it was more. Unless something changes in the future, I have no issues.

I can't say enough about our experience with Janville - from beginning to end - from the moment we met with Jeff to the clean up after our roof was installed. Jeff thoroughly explained the product and the process, how long it would take and rough date as to when they would start. He did not push the more expensive materials explaining the difference between each. He was friendly and wanted us to be comfortable with him and the company. The construction team was not only courteous but friendly and professional concerned that we were happy with each aspect of the project. At the end of each day they thoroughly cleaned up around the house and took particular care on the last day. I highly recommend Janville!!

Janville is a small family-run business. Jeff's wife handles the phone and schedules estimates, and Jeff gives estimates and oversees the jobs. Jeff is a straight shooter. He's honest, and easy-going, and won't make promises he can't keep. He makes sure his customers have all their questions answered. He personally checks in on the job site every day, and he gave me his cell phone number in case anything came up needing immediate attention (We never needed it though). His crews have been with him for a long time. They are very professional and do excellent work. Janville did our siding and windows a few years ago, and when we needed a roof, there was no question about who we wanted to do the work. We couldn't be happier with the experience. We would give him six stars if we could.

I have not used Janville Roofing myself, however my next door neighbor just had their roof replaced. I called their office to speak to someone about the jobsite and Jeff, the owner, was very responsive and actually came out the very next morning to speak with me in person. Came home today and not only does my neighbors roof look amazing but you wouldnt have known they were here with how clean everything is. If your looking for a company that is responsive, understanding and values their community than Jeff and Janville Roofing is the right choice.

I interviewed EIGHT roofers. Yes I am picky.

Some first impressions of Janville:

- The owner Jeff is a zero pressure salesman. He knows his business but is not a know it all. He neither over promises nor oversells. I wanted a number of upgrades and all of the changes were reasonably priced. Let me be very clear: Jeff didn't push any upgrades. I wanted them.

- Jeff owns a building. Unlike many a roofer, who is little more than a 4uck in a truck, Jeff actually has something permanent and valuable standing behind his business. I figured if he owns a building, he can't be fly by night, and he isn't.

- Jeff is also a nice, reasonable, down to earth guy. Given the high quality of his work, I would still recommend him even if he were a jerk; after all, I'm paying for a roof here, not a buddy. But he's not jerk. Not even close.

About the job:

- Funny thing: my next door neighbor had his roof done at the exact same time as mine. His was done in one day; mine took three. The crew who did his roof was twice the size of mine, and they finished in one-third the time. Faster is better you say? Not always.

I watched both crews. Jeff's guys were careful; all of the shingles were lined up properly. The shingles were neatly mitered in the valleys (pretty sure that's what it's called, anyway they look neat). I asked for six nails, and they did six nails (yes, I can count nail gun taps).

The guys next door did three or four nails, maybe. The guys next door weren't flashing the skylights properly. I politely questioned this and the foreman told me to mind my own business. Then I got in his face and they went back and fixed it. (Yes I told my neighbor about everything I saw as it happened, and asked for his permission before questioning his roofer.)

- We had a problem on our job; the skylights weren't right. Jeff had ordered the right ones; I know this because I saw the order (yes I am actually so anal that I look at part numbers on material orders). The roofing supplier had messed up. What happened? Jeff took care of it quickly, correctly, and completely with no mention of an extra charge. No hassle and no fuss for me. Extra work and no extra money for him.

For me, Janville's pricing was a little more than the average. Not a lot, a little bit. But Jeff's crew is careful, he delivers what he promises and doesn't call it done until everything is right. In my case he even made good on mistakes that weren't his fault. I have no doubt that unless something big and heavy hits my roof it will last AT LEAST 30 years.

Working with Janville, I felt comfortable before, during and after. Is that worth a little bit extra? In my book, absolutely.

When we do our siding in the near future, I will only make one call. Janville.

Nothing but good things from this company! David was on time, usually early and extremely easy to talk to. He listened to my issue and was very forward about what was going on with my roof. It left me with complete confidence that I called the right people. The estimate came in lower than another local company with more work included with it. I called today to inquire about scheduling an appointment to have our leaking roof looked at. The receptionist was very rude. I was told they are not scheduling for repairs and that they couldn't help me. I am baffled at the good reviews for this company. After speaking with their receptionist I would say anyone who devalues their customers so much that they would be this rude to anyone who calls should be avoided. I'll be taking my business somewhere else and probably, if you're reading this and considering them, you should take yours some where else too.
