Tex Mex Connection

I finally visited the Tex Mex Connection after working half a block away for over six years, and smelling the delicious scents that waft out of this place. Anyways, I was not disappointed with my visit. We sat in the upstairs eating area and were quickly waited on. Our server took good care of us, making sure that our drinks were refilled when needed. The food was very good, starting with the chips and salsa. We had some wings for an appetizer, as well as the bacon wrapped coconut shrimp, and they were all terrific. Our meals took a little bit to arrive, but we had plenty of food already. Everyone in my party liked their food. I had a half rack of ribs and french fries. The ribs were cooked well and had a ton of meat on them, but the meat was a bit dry. I didn't like the sauce they put on the ribs, as it was more of a salsa type of sauce, instead of a traditional barbecue sauce and the flavor just wasn't right for me. But all in all I was quite happy with my experience here.

Quiet upstairs dinner before the holidays get crazy. Very nice and Quick service. Had enough Vegetarian options to satisfy my wife and I. The margaritas are great and they recommend if your going to get more than 4, the pitcher is cheaper. Guacamole is very good too. Look forward to going back soon!

By far one of the best places to go in North Wales/Lansdale. Amazing margaritas, great food, a very well stock selection of beer and liquor. The staff is A+, great people! Trivia on Wednesday is always a good time.

We were traveling for work and been on the road for hours and randomly stopped in here for food. Although the kitchen was closed, the staff and all of the customers were so nice and let us know everywhere else that was open nearby. We ended up staying for a drink anyways and got to know everyone a little more. The chef was there off the clock and even offered to go in the back and make us something because they felt so bad the kitchen already closed. We couldn’t have had a better experience with the bartenders we met, chef and owner. Would definitely recommend this place and WILL be back for food and drinks !

Amazing dinner in a beautiful atmosphere. The food and service are top notch and definitely can't wait to eat and drink there again. Margaritas were perfect and dinner was fairly intimate as we were in a room to ourselves. Even when others were sat in our room later, it still felt warm and cozy. Weird to note, but chairs were solid wood, comfortable and not flimsy, and beautifully carved, with different tropical scenery. My favorite are the parrots!

Great place !! I highly recommend coming here. They have a wonderful selection of food and 3 different type of seating areas (covered outside, bar, restaurant). We ordered a bunch of different foods and all are great. Also, the chair designs are very cool.

Our party of four had great service, incredible food, in a really fun environment. I will definitely go back!

If you love a good margarita, this is the place for you!! Good time just to relax, hang, and the chips and salsa are homemade and delicious. I enjoy the summers on the deck here as well.

The chips and salsa are out of this world, the margs are made with real ingredients, and the restaurant is sustainability and ethically focused. Support them!

Surprisingly good. Went on the recommendation of a friend and was pleasantly surprised to confirm it is just as good as they said.

Drinks were good. Half decent beer selection.

Everything is so delicious here. Been a few times and never disappointed. Service is good. Plenty of outdoor seating.

The Food is Amazing, the Margaritas are Fantastic and the Staff are all Great! My wife and I have been coming here for years and love everything about it!

Busy bar but good service on a Saturday night. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our server Pete was prompt and attentive with all our needs.

Went here with wife and kids. Food was way above expectations. The appetiser nachos were tasty. The fries… among the best that I have tasted in my lifetime. Crab burrito for my entree was also really good. Found a new awesome place to eat. Wish they had more hot sauce selection. Service was on point. The server achieved the perfect balance of coming exactly at the time that we needed something and not when we were good. Really impressive actually within itself.

Great drinks and great service, good for a fun night out and some small bites. The margaritas are a must-order.

Always a favorite place to stop for some delicious tex mex food. Great selection on the menu even for the picky eaters. The margaritas are also a perfect way to drink on a summer day... a spring day.... winter... fall... well, every day really. On the rocks was better than frozen, but you really cannot go wrong either way!

Best margaritas I’ve had and very strong. Great place to come for some drinks and have a good time. Come early before it’s get too busy on Friday/Saturdays.

My fiancé and I had made a reservation for 7:30pm on Saturday night. We had never been to Tex Mex before so it was a little confusing on where to go. I should have read the reviews or asked who had referred me to here. Eventually we stopped a server and asked where we needed to go and he kindly showed us upstairs. Unfortunately, our table wasn't clear from the previous reservation, and we had to wait. The hostess was very kind and apologetic and informed us of the wait, she did comp us without hesitation, which was unexpected and so nice. We ended up waiting until almost 8pm to be seated, no problem. All staff on deck was working hard and I didn't mind the wait. Our server was very sweet and apologetic as well. Great service, delicious food! I had the mango margarita, which was delicious. I'm not sure how someone drinks more than one, they are quite strong.

I do agree the parking situation is tough, we ended up parking in a lot across the street. Not sure if it was really allowed but did not see any towing signs up or we wouldn't have parked there.

Must visit! Amazing food, amazing service, & the best margaritas around, 3 shots of tequila. Can't beat this place. On top of that, they have awesome gluten free options.
