I HIGHLY recommend Peaceful Valley Chimney! I had a dead squirrel stuck in my flue. There are lots of chimney cleaners and animal removal services out there, but none of them want to go to the trouble of removing a dead animal, or wanted to charge me lots of money to take a look, without promising they could take care of it.
Peaceful Valley did not hesitate to assure me that they could help me. I won't go into detail regarding how incredibly gross a situation it was, but Nicole and Mike knew right away exactly what to do. They were on time, professional, and really pleasant, despite having to deal with a very unpleasant task.
They were extremely thorough and were very hygiene-conscious. They took great care to contain and great rid of what was removed , then thoroughly clean and sanitize the fireplace and flue area, eliminating any remains, insects, germs and odor. They also put a cap on my chimney so that it never happens again.
This is a family-run, small business who go out of their way to make sure the job is done right, at a very reasonable price, to their customers' total satisfaction.

Mikey has cleaned our chimney for the past few years. We wouldn’t even consider another company. A few friends of mine also had Mikey out for chimney cleaning and have become continued customers too. Recently we had our dryer vent cleaned. In addition to cleaning the dryer vent Mikey modified things with the dryer duct work to reduce areas where lint may collect. While in my basement he happened to see a exterior dryer vent cover I bought years ago and haven’t installed. Without me even mentioning it (I honestly forgot I had it) Mikey installed that for me too! Great service, super nice guy to work with and he will leave the work space tidy 🙂

I've used Mikey for years and I am always pleased with the service. He goes above and beyond, and always has some great tips or advice. He notices stuff I dont even know about and help make the furnace and fireplace stove efficient.
Also, he worked with me on cleaning my rental property now that i live overseas. I trust him completely.

I have used Peaceful Valley Chimney Sweeps on three separate occasions. First for a regular chimney sweep, then I had him back to sweep the chimney for my furnace (which I had been unaware wasn't being routinely done by my furnace maintenance), and finally he installed a cap on my furnace chimney and each time I was provided with excellent service at a great value. I would highly recommend Mike for any of your chimney sweep needs. He was courteous, professional, VERY clean, and at a great price.

This company is the best. They came and cleaned out the dryer vent and the same time had to replace the outside vent flap. The way Mike the technician works and explains things is amazing. This company knows what customer service is about.
