Pie and Plate Cafe

Easily the best pie I’ve ever had. The Sugar Cream was simply amazing. The staff and the interior are lovely too. Couldn’t recommend Pie and Plate Cafe more!

Beautiful weekday lunch had here. First visit and I completely enjoyed it. Had turkey on croissant with arugula lettuce. Ice tea and then slice of pie( coconut cream). Service was excellent and a table of ladies oin front made the atmosphere terrific. Everything was fresh and l the coffee..absolutely iclyf fresh made. Will definitely go again

The BEST PIES you can ever find. Try any kind and you won’t be disappointed. My favorites are the blackberry key lime pie and the maple pecan pie (holiday season). They also have great delicious breakfast/brunch options. In addition, very very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Delicious Pie and friendly staff. It was hard to choose a pie flavor, so we ended up sampling three at once! I definitely recommend this little shop for a sweet treat!

Very adorable cafe/bakery. The owner is lovely and the pecan and chocolate pies are out of this world!! Must visit if you’re in the area.

Delicious. The apple pie slice is THE ABSOLUTE BEST. I was expecting only apple flavored cream within the pie but was pleasantly surprised with actual apple slices. There was sooooo much. Love it! Will be back to get a whole apple pie. Their limited purple potato soup was like none other. Glad I got to try it!

The servings are on the smaller side but man is their food good! I would go here if you would like to treat yourself. It's a little pricey. $6 for a slice of pie is more than I expected. Once you taste the pie you will understand why it's $6.

Lovely small cafe with top-notch staff. The menu is limited, but soooooo good. You can't go wrong, I don't think. I had a quiche, which was the perfect breakfast. The pies are delicious, too, and they offer a great variety.

I have to echo the good opinions of others who have reviewed Pie and Plate. Light lunch fare, quiche, salads, sandwiches and the like. The pie is fabulous. My friend and I each chose different salads, which were fresh and tasty, with dressing served on the side. We ordered two slices of pie and split them, and had delicious coffee. I love the small town atmosphere here.

The plates are good but the pies are even better. The tennis ave. pie was fantastic and went well with an iced coffee.

This was my first time at Pie and Plate. I'm surprised I haven't been here before! We had breakfast. My wife had a quiche while I had a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant. Each came with a side of fresh fruit. So good.

I really liked that we could sit outside on one of the small tables. Our pup enjoyed being there with us. They even came out and asked if he wanted a dog bowl to drink from. So thoughtful.

We got some sweets to go as well. I'd go back again in a heart beat.

My family and I ate here to celebrate some of my son's recent accomplishments and it was phenomenal! We had a late lunch and took a variety of dessert pie slices home for later. The food is fantastic, the service excellent, and the decor and ambiance charming and inviting. Go there whenever you can!!! (I selfishly wish they were open every day.)

This is my favorite place to eat in Ambler after living here for almost two years. Their sweets are amazing and their savory food is just as delicious. Their chicken pot pie is my favorite and their cupcakes are the best in the area. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put love into their food. The atmosphere is bright and relaxing and the service is impeccable. This place is a gem!

Good biscuits are so hard to find in the North East and these were great. Very fluffy with a buttery crumb. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese and it was enormous and delicious. The pies looked nice but we were too full. It's a counter service shop with cozy seating and friendly staff. Very happy with this tasty but low key brunch.

Stopped in for a quick iced coffee and grabbed the quinoa salad - the cutest place and nicest folks! A+ salad and great size for the price! I didn’t even have room for a dessert but wow they smell/look good. If I’m in Ambler again, I’ll be back!

Amazing!!! I got a chocolate cream pie here for my moms birthday, the creamiest pie ever. We were so happy with it and the crust was delicious. They don’t make it often anymore, however I’m hoping I can get my hands on a chocolate cream pie again from pie and plate cafe, the best!!

Really neat place great pies that are perfectly sized. Great for brunch and lunch. Good coffee and tea nice atmosphere. Awesome staff and great service. Very satisfying, though the hours are a bit inconvenient. All in all great local spot that I can't recommend enough.

We just left this place and we will definitely be back. First of all, it's clean and bright and quiet which was a wonderful change from the typical din of popular brunch spots. The staff was super friendly and apologized for the practically non-existent wait we had for food. Even the manager came out to apologize...very sweet. The food was FANTASTIC and coffee had a free refill. Love!

TL;DR: Pie and Plate Café has phenomenal pies (sweet and savory) and is also known for their biscuits. Do yourself a favor and enjoy their culinary creations.

We found ourselves in the area for other entertainment purposes. Prior to leaving Ambler, we developed a hankering for pie. Upon entering Pie and Plate (for short), we were pleasantly greeted by the staff. It was our first time to the adorable little bakery restaurant, adorned with soft pastel blues, and delicate decorations. Soft edges and nothing too hard on the eyes. We purchased an entire set of pieces from the display to assemble an entire pie. Three key lime slices, three lemon ginger slices, and one cup of caramel hot chocolate (which was to die for). The pies were properly adorned in whipped cream and berries. The pies were absolutely delicious, but as most pie lovers will tell you, it is the crust that completes the entire ensemble. Pie and Plate delivers the goods with a flaky yet most crust that perfectly complements the sweetness of the pies. If you are a pie lover, please do yourself a favor and visit Pie and Plate.

A beautiful sunny space with great decor and delicious food. Both a meal and an experience. Friendly personal owners were available for small chatter during lunchtime. This spot is right next to the local brewery and other great areas businesses. The Main St corridor is really exciting now!
