I saw Dr. Nina for recurrent pneumonia 4 years ago. I followed recommendations and tests. I was on a bevespi inhaler for 2 and was able to ween off. Got vaccinated at request. Have had healthy lungs for 4 years since seeing Dr. Nina and rarely need antibiotics now. Dr. Nina is a life saver!

Dr. Nina, as we refer to her, is great! My husband was sent to her before she opened her own practice and was affiliated with Grand View. She is very engaging, handles my husband's respiratory issues very well and explains things in detail. We are very pleased with her!

Dr. Nina is a shining example of what health care professionals should be. She is a wonderful doctor, but, beyond that, she is also caring, concerned for all patients, not just her's, and displays a genuine interest in helping and curing. I don't know where I would be health wise if Dr. Nina hadn't taken such an interest in my health problems, which were many, and continued to tirelessly seek answers, treatments, and cures that have me living a full and healthy life. Im 76 years old, and went through 3 very difficult years, but Dr. Nina guided me through those tough times. I recommend Dr. Nina without hesitation to anyone who needs her knowledge, professionalism, and love of what she does.

Dr. Nina was not originally assigned to my mother's case. My mother was admitted into Grandview Hospital for GI issues and she started failing after a few days. It was 8:30pm on a Friday night when my mom's amazing nurse saw Doctor Nina in the hallway. Doctor was walking out the door to head home. The nurse asked Doctor Nina if she would be willing to take a look at my mom as a personal favor. My mom could not breathe and her blood pressure was through the roof. Many attempts were made the previous night and day to contact the doctors who had been originally treating my mother during her hospital stay. That medical practice did not respond to any of the calls? Thank God Doctor Nina did not hesitate to evaluate their patient who was in need of help. She "speed walked" into my mother's room still wearing her winter jacket and scarf. My dad and I didn't realize she was a doctor until she pulled her stethoscope from her coat pocket. She diagnosed my mother within 5 minutes. My mother was in Congestive Heart Failure! She ordered the correct medication and developed a new treatment plan. Doctor saved my mother's life while comforting and reassuring my father. My parent's have been married 48 years and my Dad was more scared than my mom. Although Dr. Nina was still not "formally" assigned to my mother's case she called the hospital at two in the morning to check on my mother's condition anyways. Dr. Nina's husband Dr. Evan, is a wonderful Intensivist at Grandview Hospital. She sent him in to check on my mom too. What a team! Both are great doctors and true assets to Grandview. I hope they never leave! The following morning my dad asked Dr. Nina if she would be willing to continue treating my mom while she was hospitalized as well as treating her after discharge in her office. Doctor was humbled. My dad then asked the hospital to reassign my mother's case to Dr. Nina. How many doctors will stop to evaluate someone else's patient? How many doctors don't hesitate, even long enough to take their coat off. Who carries a stethoscope in the pocket of their winter jacket? Not many doctors call to check on someone else's patient at two in the morning? I've never heard of a doctor sending their husband's into the hospital on their day off to evaluate and act as another set of eyes for them. Who is willing to stay late on a Friday night to explain to the family members what happened and what the next treatment steps would be? A great doctor does. A humble doctor does. A doctor whose concern is for people versus payment. A doctor who gives hope. A doctor who saves a life and saves family members from worry and heartache. Thank you Doctor. You saved my mom's life. The world would be a better place if there were more doctors like you and your husband.

Dr Nina gets 5 stars! She is a caring and dedicated doctor. Love her!
Her office staff however is another story. They get 0 stars. Three women in the front office and one at home who is supposed to answer calls AND no one answers the phone! I had to physically drive there to get an appt. That is just unheard of! I hope Dr. Nina finds a way to solve the problem. It is not a phone issues as I have been told repeatedly. Wish you best of luck in your practice as she will be losing frustrated patients.

I was affiliated with this office for a sleep disorder. Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this office. I was lied to, promised follow up and calls that never happened. Complete disregard for professional. I waited 2 months for a sleep machine order thar was never called in. I understand that they were dissolved but I would take my warning and don't deal with this practice at all!

This is the WORST office I've ever dealt with. My Wife (Multiple Myeloma Patient) was there on a Weds morning and was told she needed oxygen. They were supposed to order it that morning, but never ordered it until I finally got through to them on a Friday & got it on MONDAY. My wife couldn't breath for an additional 4 days. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE,,,,EVER! The Dr seems ok BUT we're now looking for another pulmonologist. I suggest staying away from this one. Bill Bizzozero

Office communication is awful. Dr. Nina is NOT thorough with her testing and procedures and does not communicate timely or effectively. They have repeatedly messed up my mothers testing and care. She needs to have repeat procedures by another office and her cancer treatment has been delayed for several weeks due to their inefficiency and inabilities. Would NOT recommend this practice.

Worst office communication ever. Staff usually doesn't answer phone. If you leave a message in general mailbox, no one calls you back. Dr Nina wanted a pet scan, her office couldn't get it approved. I went to another Dr. with Abington and his office got the pet scan approved and I am so happy. Beware
