I had to run to the Northampton Post Office today and happened to read some of the reviews before I went, so I was more ready for my trip. I know which person some folks are talking about. I don't know if she's that bad, but there is something noticeable and consistent that I was able to discuss with a friend that also knows who she is from over the years.

I had Veronica today, and she was really excellent. She wins 5 stars for Northampton. I frequently get the woman with the eastern European accent, who I also never had any complaint about.

The ladies who run the front desk of the post office are saints for dealing with customers with such patience and grace. They are always knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. You are never waiting in line for more than a few minutes.

Thank You Wilson Lopez for taking the time to search for my missing package and making my request a priority especially during Christmas season. Very polite, friendly and understanding. I appreciate the phone calls back keeping me abroad. Great Customer Service!!

I have lived in Northampton for more than thirty years; and have NEVER had a negative experience at the Post Office. On the contrary; there have been occasions when the employees have gone "above and beyond" for me.

Maybe the negative reviews are written by people from Northampton Massachusetts - not Northampton Pennsylvania.

Everyone at this Post Office is so nice and helpful. Even when they are busy they are friendly and help as quickly as possible.

They've always been very helpful at this branch and my mail delivery is very good.

The people are friendly and do a fairly good job. It's still the USPS though, so there's always room for improvement.

Stopped in with a last minute overnight package there was no line and the women behind the counter was helpful.

Can we please get them some help? They are at the mercy of Lehigh Valley Post office which is slowing everything down. I feel bad for the employees getting bombarded with complaints. Normally very friendly staff.

Went to office 2 days in a row, gates at windows were down at 10 am then also the next day by 11ish, I don't know if this is lunch related but a return time would be great. Another post office was open during this time..

I live in a development of approximately 180 homes. There are days when there is NO delivery and many other days when the only mail I receive is not first class, i.e. pizza place coupons and the like. Some days delivery is before noon and other days not until after 5 pm. This experience is not unique to me. We have community mail boxes so when I don’t get delivery the neighbors don’t get delivery either. I have verified this with several neighbors. Despite having been audited in the last year for delivery issues, I don’t see much improvement, if any.

Was a Koncrete Kid back in the day...what happened to that hometown feel? If you’ve been to this post office, you know who’s attitude chased the good ppl away! If were not for my mail carrier, there would be 1 star (as I cannot give negative stars). Women behind counter are rude, give false information (“SHE” needs to read up on box rental ‘rules’), or they just agree with the rudest one.
Gentleman who delivers my mail is kind, fruendly, and considerate-he works very hard. Maybe send old battle axe out for a breathe of fresh air...send her permanently

I have complained several times about delivering my mail to the wrong address now I have not received mail in three days from the Northampton PA post office

Counter staff friendly and efficient with counter duties but hardly capable of helping with any issues regarding delivery. Sorting and delivery is a nightmare. Distribution many times sends our packages to completely different towns with absolutely no explanation, delaying delivery by 1-3 days. They regularly deliver letters to wrong addresses and often fail to deliver presorted marketing mail at all. Postmaster Ray is inept and fails to respond to inquiries. Previous postmasters far exceeded his skill set. The management and organization of this facility falls far below par. So much for "Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."…it has been replaced with “You didn’t get your mail; too bad so sad (shrug)”. Sad!
