Smile Cafe Breakfast & Lunch

Seeking breakfast, my daughter selected this choice. We decided to give it a try.

This restaurant is very small and busy. Parking was available.

We opened the door and stood behind some other patrons waiting to be able to put our names on the wait list. The place was packed.

The sweet and very kind waitress working that day was wearing several hats. She served food and also was acting as the hostess. My husband put our names on the list and we sat on the benches outside and waited to be seated about a half an hour.

We were eventually seated next to the register by front door. Minus people watching us as they were waiting for their tables and a few bottoms facing us, we did get breakfast.

Our options were very good. The attentive waitress was fantastic and made each guest feel very welcome with her down to earth conversation and greeting each time she came to our table.

Wow! Was recommended, so high expectations and did not disappoint! Food was clean, fresh, and healthy. Menu diverse. Chicken kabobs excellent. Best green salad I have had in FOREVER! Fresh greens and quality products on the green salad. Freshly cut cucumber, tomato and onions. Blu cheese dressing very good. House bread amazing! I love this place. Service over the top great! It is crowding out some of my top picks for restaurants.. I will definitely make this a regular stop.

Very nice brand new breakfast and lunch shop. We tried this today and the selection is varied and excellent. Our waitress Gabby was very helpful explaining what some of the Turkish items were. She also told us about the homemade strawberry 🍓 preserves which were delicious. The omelets are large and filled with toppings. I had the western omelet and it was excellent. The hash browns are crispy on the outside and thin so not much non browned potato. The orange 🍊 juice is fresh squeezed. We will definitely be regulars at this location. The decor is nice and inviting. The dining area is renovated and all new. Very nice! They have free WiFi.

2022: They had rose 🌹 marmalade today and it was delicious. 😋 They also have no added sugar strawberry preserves. I am managing my A1C and this helps.

2023: I bring my own sugar free preserves for the toast. New owner now with a larger menu. Will need to continue to try all the new options. 😀

2024: Erin was an awesome 😎 waitress. Love all the new options on the menu and the cozy atmosphere.

I love this little place. It's a small feel with big food taste!! Everyone needs to go.

Nice LITTLE place the menu has a Turkish flair. Sorry the food is mostly eaten in the photos but we were very hungry. The hash browns are excellent. The bacon is thick and a large portion. The shows about 30% of the full order.

The staff was very friendly and very efficient. Next time in the area I’m heading back.

It is the absolute best breakfast I’ve ever had. Service is always kind and swift but never rushed even when the place is packed some days. Very affordably priced too!!

The poached eggs with avocado, chicken sausages and hash browns were amazing. The Mediterranean Omelette, very tasty, healthy and yummy!!!

A definite 5-star breakfast. Their Turkish food choices are a refreshing change, but their 'regular' choices are also stellar. They make the most unique, lightly-crisped hash-browns we've ever had. Both Turkish and regular coffee are primo. Service is excellent and friendly and the place is clean, bright and, tasteful. And yes, the whole experience made us happy.

We live in Connecticut and didn’t know where to go for breakfast. I search for a place and saw the reviews in goggle. I am so happy, we decided to try this place for breakfast. Everything was so fresh and delicious.
My husband and son had short ribs rahash and I had Greek omelete. The coffee was fresh and strong and the toast taste like homemade.The server Barack was so friendly and professional.Thank you so much. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back in the future.

This is a hidden gem of a breakfast spot for me! Turkish coffee and a bite to eat that you'll most definitely enjoy. The people are great and food is great! Pancakes are great and just amazing breakfast/ brunch spot!!! Brioche French toast is heavenly, wonderful omelettes, great cappuccino and much more!!!

What a great breakfast spot. First time there. Hope that Vanessa is there on a regular basis. She made our experience extra special and is an awesome server. Great menu and reasonably priced. We will be back.

Stumbled upon this place and I was so pleasantly surprised. The service was wonderful and very nice. The food and Turkish coffee was amazing. I urge everyone to try this place and try some good Turkish breakfast/lunch. I believe this is a small family run place as well, support small business!

Absolutely fantastic. The wait was maybe 10 minutes. The staff works like a well-oiled machine. They are coordinated, efficient, and knowledgeable. They even know their customers by name. While waiting, at least 3 of them came to ensure we knew they were working on getting us seated as quickly as possible. The food was fantastic and super high quality. The french toats were the best Ive had, and my 5 year old absolutely loved her food. She kept saying "hmm yum" with every bite... we don't normally get that as she is a picky eater. The atmosphere was very much like you were there with family. The place is spotless and is very nicely decorated on the inside. Highly recommended...

The eight of us experienced what we all agreed was a great breakfast today. Everyone ordered a full breakfast ranging from eggs benedict to crepes. The service, food, and atmosphere were outstanding. I only regret that I forgot to find out the waitress's name she was fantastic!

Florentine egg Benedict was cooked to the perfection and I loved the crispiness of shredded hash browns. They have the best bread for the French toast. OMG just delicious. Idk who designed it but feels so cozy. Server was so nice and prompt. It is gonna be my go to place for my family and friends:) Looking forward to come back and try their lunch specials.

I had the shakshuka and my friend had the veggie omelette. Both were very good. Next time I want to try Turkish coffee. I'm sure it's as good as it smells!

We tried the soujouk and eggs, pishni, and eggs benedict and WOW everything was so delicious. Absolutely recommend! Really fast and responsive service as well!

Great place with a cozy feel and options of traditional turkish breakfast. The breakfast plate gives you a taste of different traditional dishes and plentiful food. Service is top-notch with the waitstaff being knowledgeable and offering helpful recommendations.

I went there for the 1st time on Sunday 3/2 and the place was busy, which is always a good sign. We had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes and got a chance to have some interaction with the servers, and they were really nice. Once we got the table, we had to wait a little bit but we totally understood. Once I got the menu, oh boy I was in trouble...everything seems delicious. I got the California eggs benedict with coffee, my husband had the berry french toast and my girl got the tradicional eggs benedict with avocado.... Let me tell you..THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. The flavors were incredible and the servers super friendly. I felt I wwas having breakfast at home with a big family and that was awesome. For a small place, the flavors are big and the family ambiance is warming. I will definitely come back to try everything they have to ofer and to enojoy a good time with a big family. Thank you for your outstanding service and amazing home flavors.
