It's not perfect but they do their best and it's an institution. Got a lot more heart than Amazon. Yes stuff is to expensive for me or most of us to shop there exclusively but it's not their fault that cheap prices require exploitation all along the supply line and I'm not going to punish them for that especially bc I know nobody on the co-op board is getting rich.

Weaver's Way is justly celebrated as a Mt.Airy institution. Yes, some of the prices are high, but that's due in part to the quality of what's on offer and prices on staples are mostly reasonable. Yes, it can feel crowded but it also has a strong sense of community absent from Acme and other grocery stores. The staff is treated well and are lovely and helpful. If you are in the area, I strongly urge you to join!

Organic, highly quality, locally sourced products, this is a unique venue for grocery shopping. Enjoy a 5% discount if you are a volunteering co-op member. Be aware, other customers are not always friendly, maybe because of the tight confines.

This place is amazing. Kind of small but packed with tons and tons of goodies. Try the upstairs even, it's even better.

My family has been members of this coop for over 23 years. We've worked here, on staff, and doing coop hours and really appreciate the beacon it's been for this community. High-quality produce, dry goods, bulk , and 'across the way' and the mercantile are elite expansions on the space. I have, unfortunately, had some folks watch me shop at across the way. Which isn't what any black woman walks into a store looking for, but I chalk it up to new staff and their own personal issues. Never have issues in the main store, though. It is always good to see the familiar faces of seasoned staff and share a smile. Keep it up guys

Best produce, their own grown salad mixes are the best. Their homemade turkey (cold cuts)is A+, also lovely and wonderful friendly staff. Wish they made fruit cups. 💕

The cashiers are always nice and knowledgeable. They're bulk department is awesome in My Airy only. The little store across the street called Mercantile is beautiful fill with antiques and great gift ideas for local artisans.( It is only open on Saturday and Sunday from 10 - 4pm) I really love this about all their stores they are truly a great community store.

I love shopping at Weavers Way. The staff are always courteous. It has a very good variety of fresh and grocery style natural foods. The baked goods are delicious. I particularly enjoy the sandwiches here when I am on the go. Being a member and spending money here, makes me feel good that my dollars are staying in the community and supporting our local neighborhoods with accessible food.

Thiis market is a sort of coop. It has a wide assortment of high quality vegetables, meats, cheeses, breads, and other foods. Pretty much the whole array of foods you eat. And much of it is either organic or locally grown or produced. Some things are pricey compared to a conventional market, but you get what you pay for as always. But many items such as locally baked breads are either competively priced or lower than the going price.

A bit overpriced, but good quality and genuine concern for local sustainability overall.

Inspiration food co-op a few blocks off of Lincoln Drive in Mount Airy section of Philly. The community of businesses and people at that intersection is truly amazing. I highly recommend checking out this quirky, yet mindful store and all the offerings of Weavers Way.

Cute co-op with friendly staff! A little cramped and fairly limited selection, but well worth a trip all the same. They have wonderful cheeses and produce! Bulk section is full of great quality foods for a good price.

I love the coop. A friendly pleasant community, grocery and neighborhood institution. It has a nice collection of bulk foods and spices and coffee/tea. Nice produce and meat and fish. Carries good bread from local bakeries as well as bigger brands.. During pandemic before vaccine I did curbside pickup or delivery

Our membership in the coop is worth just the bulk item selection. Grains, cereals, spices, oils, vinegars, candy and more. I appreciate being able to shop at a place that doesn't require purchasing a new jar or bag or box. If you bring your own containers, they pay attention to the tare weight, too.

A great variety of food, both organic and not. The Mt. Airy location also has a huge bulk section upstairs. It is more affordable in most cases than Whole Foods, and it is a community owned and operated enterprise. If you receive benefits, you can sign up for their Food for All program and receive 15% off. Across the Way is also great for gifts. If you've never been, check it out!

I love Weaver's way. I appreciate that I can buy all of my cat and dog supplies in the across the way store. The mercantile has some great local vendors and cool vintage furniture. The grocery store has a huge bulk section with a wide selection. The staff is super helpful, even though the store is usually busy.

Quality produce and helpful staff. I love the co-op!

Some of my favorites: their freshly made salads, their roasted/salted nuts, their avocados, and their flowers.

You don't have to be a co-op member to shop here.

Great selection. Pretty pricey even for some of the bulk items items . they have konbucha on tap. Cashiers are usually very polite. For such a small store you can get pretty much anything you need as long as you eat in season for certain fresh produce items. Lots of local and organic options.
