Rough Cut Barbeque

Delicious bbq! I love the brisket, Mac and cheese, baked beans, fresh cut fries with cheese and roasted sweet corn when in season! I love the outside seating with gorgeous country views and a beautiful field of flowers when in bloom! We love everything about this place!

Great food very. Ribs were a little saucy however their pulled pork was great. More southern style. Slaw was good fries were fresh cut.

Great BBQ. I ordered the half pulled pork half brisket sandwich. Got a side of cheese fries and baked beans. Everything was spot on. Even enjoyed some fresh birches right from the tap.

All their meats are delicious, pulled pork, spare ribs, chicken, best brisket. Also fresh cut fries, baked beans, Cole slaw, and corn on cob when in season.Also have beverages. Come with a big appetite you get so much. You might want to order ahead, they sometimes sell out quickly, people come from a great distance for their BBQ. Also have small ice cream sundaes. Outdoor Tables, and picnic tables to enjoy the area while you have GREAT food!!! Posted the pulled pork, their home-made horsey sauce is a must!!

The Ribs are only the best cuts with plenty of meat on the bone the baked beans are life changing.
A wonderful, quality local business that is seasonal…. So get there soon before it closes October 22, you will not regret the trip!

This place NEVER disappoints. For season after season, I am always well pleased with the food. My usual of a pulled pork/chicken sandwich, LB of Mac N Cheese and baked beans. This place is a winner and I look forward to feasting with you next year!

Al fresco dining and Birch Beer by the cup on tap.BBQ Beef brisket pulled pork or chicken yum! Sink on side to wash up a nice touch. Eat there or take out. Friday- Saturday. Wendseday stand @ Hometown farmers market.

We had a retirement party of 60 or more people at work. Knowing that Rough Cut has amazing food, we were taking a chance they would deliver and serve our work party. They did, and it exceeded our expectations. Everyone was surprised with the extremely large portions and the quality and flavor of the food. Knowing we have many meat smoking/ bbq critics in house. I highly recommend going to their stand for a bite to eat. Or if needed a catering service.

This is our weekly stop for lunch on a Sunday! We enjoy all of the food it is our favorite bbq place. I enjoy the beef brisket sandwich with creamy horseradish sauce. Their fries are perfectly cooked! I also enjoy the coleslaw. The baked beans can be a bit spicy for my taste. My family enjoys the ribs, pulled chicken/pork combo as well. The Mac and cheese is super creamy. Also tapped birch beer is great to wash down your food. There is even a Heisler’s CMP sundae for dessert.

Outside dining under cover or umbrella tables or enjoy take out!

They do have port a potties which is a downfall but at least there is a bathroom.

Great barbeque! Pork, chicken, and brisket with their own home made French fries and delicious coleslaw! Trust me, I'm a coleslaw snob!

One of the best barbecue joints in Tamqua. I would come down from Hazleton just to try some of their delicious pork sandwiches. My all time favorite order is, French fries with the secret spicy sauce, a pulled pork brisket, and to top it all of some cheesy Mac and cheese. I would definitely recommend for any travelers or just if your getting farm fresh produce from the market nearby!!!

Good sized portions for the price

Always great food. Excellent prices. Line can be long but it moves quickly, ample parking and some outside picnic tables to sit and eat your meal. Loves the fries and the man n cheese

This is a fun place to go to if you want to take a little drive. The food is so delicious and it’s nice to visit the market there, as well.

Very impressed by this BBQ place. First time visiting and couldn't have been happier. The price for a whole meal here is more then reasonable and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend anyone in the are you check it out.

This is a gem of a place we drove into. The food is wonderful. You order at an outside window and your number is called, quickly, and you are given either pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, or ribs. We got the platter with the best coleslaw and fries. Definitely going back!
