McKinley Floors Bathrooms and More recently installed new vinyl plank flooring in my home. The process was easy and professional from start to finish. Very happy with the finished product!

Nice samples of all the different flooring & tiles. Carpeting too. Good prices. A little hard to get to the place as there is road construction being done.

Not handicap friendly

My wife and I stopped in to view the wood flooring. The owner(?) stayed behind the counter in the back as we tried to ask him questions about various comparison products. My wife finally asked if he would come out front to the wood products or did we need to leave to get personal service elsewhere. He just said "Wow!". We left. I can't imagine how he stays in business.

Buyer beware.
Didn’t come for the job when they said they would. I had my kitchen/laundry area/bathroom stripped and ready. They said a worker had unexpected jury duty but that they would call me back in a few minutes and let me know if he was coming later that day. I didn’t receive a call back. when I was tired of waiting I called back. she said no he’s not coming. How long was she going to leave me waiting for him? But also… Jury duty isn’t unexpected? they made scheduling mistakes and didn’t want to call it that. Tried to blame others instead of just apologizing. Very weird. Just an apology is all that was needed. It wasn’t my business what happened between them and their workers. Just bad communication overall. Then they promised the job would take one day. It took two. I had to move my work schedule multiple times to make up for their last moment scheduling changes. I wasn’t happy and I made that known to them. They acted like it was normal. Maybe for them it’s normal? In Brian’s words “it happens all the time”
They don’t give an estimate itemized by price. when I didn’t need multiple things that they estimated,’I had no way of knowing if they were honest when the final bill was given. They didn’t take a service off my final bill. when I pointed it out and asked for an adjustment they said they “did take it off” and that it was a typo. But it wasn’t itemized by price so I didn’t know if they were being honest or not. I understand now why people go to great lengths to learn home improvement themselves.
When the job was done I discovered a part of my bathroom that wasn’t done. The space between the wall and the vanity wasn’t finished. They laid layers of the flooring together to make it look finished and it wasn’t. Not even glued. Just sitting in a pile. Extremely unprofessional. There are plenty of other imperfections.
In summary, I would replace every floor in my house with sand before I interact with these people again. After I put in my down payment I found out there is new ownership but they kept the old name…so the positive experiences I heard from friends and family were actually when there were different owners. I chose not to contact them about the mistakes because they were so unpleasant. I will fix it myself.
