I went in with a fluid leak and they knew exactly what it was which was a condensor coil. They did a complete inspection on my vehicle making sure it was running right. Transmission gasket needs replaced and power steering line. The man at the front counter was very helpful and courteous. Very flexible on times and got me right in.

I have been a NW Automotive customer for at least 20 years. I have always been treated with respect and courtesy. The quality of their service is impeccable! My car is happy and so am I.

I had an inspection done before leaving for a long trip and already just with that I was very happy with their service, professionalism, and overall just very friendly people and atmosphere. I brought my truck back in for a brake inspection and they were able to get the rotors, calipers, and brakes replaced right then and there. They were always so kind and patient with all my questions.

Our favorite repair shop in all of Kalispell- always top notch at communication and service. I especially love their texting interface during the process that keeps me abreast of concerns, charges and progress. They have a friendly staff and a welcoming “waiting room”. Highly recommend!!

We’ve been taking our vehicles to Northwest for 6 years now. They’ve always been professional, knowledgeable, and fair.

I called with a question about my battery/alternator (😭😭) at 3pm, and was given a time slot to come in at 4. They let me know they could do an electronic service test for $29.99 and we could go from there! Within 45 minutes they were able to find the root of the problem (loose negative cable on battery) and fixed the issue at no extra cost (just the service fee)! Very pleasant interactions on the phone and in person, and an excellent waiting room with free WiFi! If I'm back in the Kalispell area, I'll definitely return!

The people at this location are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. I had my car towed here due to shifting issues. My appointment was 3 weeks out but, they got it in much sooner. The fix was inexpensive and they also replaced a lugnut cover that I've been missing for a while. I highly recommend this location.

I had such a great experience with Chris and Mike at NW Automotive! I was given courtesy inspection and the work was done in a really timely manner, the problem is fixed, at a very reasonable price! SO grateful. They are very professional and friendly; I highly recommend them.

The team at Northwest Automotive was absolutely superb. We were traveling in Montana when we began having problems with our car’s engine. The team at Northwest was able to get our car into the shop, determine the problem to be fixed, and then make the repairs within just a couple of hours at a reasonable cost. In the end we could continue on our trip. I highly recommend Northwest Automotive. They are perhaps the best auto repair shop I have ever done busy with.

I am from out of state and shortly after arriving in town, I noticed a coolant leak on my 2000 Land Rover Discovery. I wasn’t too pleased to discover the leak or that I was more than 4 hours from a Land Rover dealership as the Rover had only been maintained by Land Rover since it was first purchased. Dreading having to go from shop to shop to have the issue fixed I came across Northwest Auto. I didn’t have an appointment, but was in town and stopped by the shop to ask about my coolant leak. After a few minutes, the owner said they could get it on the lift and check it out.
I am thoroughly pleased and glad to have found Northwest Auto. Everyone from the receptionist to the technicians to the owner was kind, genuine and helpful. They listened, discussed, and provided ideas to a solution without trying to sell or charge for unnecessary fixes. The technicians showed and informed me about all they could regarding the issue and then they showed an issue that needed to be fixed. None of us was certain it was the actual issue causing the coolant leak, as there are multiple things that could have caused the leak. Therefore, the owner won’t even allow me to pay for the hour of service I received until we determined if they had fixed the issue. Each day after, I checked and no coolant leak. It seemed to be that they fixed the coolant leak. I was more than pleased to return to the shop, pay for the services, and inform them they fixed the coolant leak in addition to providing superior customer service for any business but most certainly a service shop. Overall, this was the best shop experience. They are real people that really care.

While visiting Kalispell for the month of August, it was important to me to have my car serviced prior to departing for 2 weeks of sightseeing on my way home to the desert. Northwest Automotive was very professional and performed the service quickly. They did a complete check up on my Jeep while doing the oil change. I was impressed at their attitude since they knew from looking at my license plate, that I would not be a returning customer.

The guys are super nice and helpful. They got the job done quickly and were very willing to work with me. My car wouldn’t start so I was late for my appointment and they still got me in and out the same day:) Had a great experience at Northwest Automotive. Thank you!

I've dealt with NW auto over several years and have always been satisfied. My recent experiences have exceeded expectations. Fair price, excellent repair quality and quality parts. Micah and Cody are excellent technicians. Would recommend to anyone and will be returning for future needs. I recently also had issues with my boat trailer axles leaking. Christopher and staff provided prompt, complete repair at fair value. Excellent customer service!!

There should never be a question on what mechanic people go to when it comes to Northwest Automotive, my Subaru has just a couple times needed Northwest Auto's love, and each time I've been not just satisfied, with the quick turnaround, but treated with the friendly, home-feel that you just don't get anywhere else. Seriously, the greatest, most honest, quality work is done by the guys at Northwest Automotive. :)

Was traveling cross country and needed regular service including oil change on an Audi. Yes and I was there at appointment time. They took the automobile in and in an hour it was ready to go. Excellent service and attitude. Would highly recommend them.
