Immaculate Conception

Traveled to Pittsburgh for a comedy show the weekend of April 22/23rd 2023. Stayed at a hotel off of U.S. 30 in Irwin and made it a priority to make it to Sunday Mass. Immaculate Conception happened to be the closest and had the most convenient mass times. As soon as I was dropped off, I walked inside and was awwed at the beautiful architecture and interior design of the church. The church was full and I haven't seen a church so full in a very long time. The congregation was very warm and welcoming. There was a very kind lady whom I sat next to and she was so sweet. I wish I got her name and she complimented my singing voice, was nice and we joined hands during the "Our Father". The organ loft was beautiful from the main level of the Sanctuary, and the windows were magnificent. The priest was very kind and had a good sense of humor. I will make sure to celebrate mass there again next time I'm in Pittsburgh.

Father John is one of the most welcoming down to earth preachers this side of heaven and transforms it into his parish and congregation 🙏

This is the most amazing Catholic Church I've ever been a part of. The atmosphere is very family friendly, everyone greets each other and smiles. My husband and I knew this was the church for us the first time we came here. My small son started crying during mass, and the other parishioners just turned to give us a welcoming and reassuring smile. I cannot say enough about how fantastic the priests are. I've made incredible friends here. If you have children, this is the church for you.

This church is nothing short of beautiful! From the faith community to Fr Moineau and Fr Cabungcal, it is a breath of fresh-air in the convictions of faith, love and happiness that all share within. It is truly a privilege and honor to be part of the faith-filled experience that is Immaculate Conception.

Love it. Mass is always interesting to me. there amazing burger bashes are on a Saturday starting in April to October every year. You can call ahead or order right there. They dont have cheese for your burger but it's ok if you bring your own. Pop and chips as well. Check the Norwin Star paper for dates of masses and burger bash.
