I just love the colors, freshness, and flavors of mediterranean cuisines. Simple, yet deliciously prepared dishes. Old-world taste, with a new-world feel. I just love the Beef Shawarma, and the spicy hummus is so smooth and savory. If you are looking for something fresh and unique next time your tummy rumbles, this place is your go-to restaurant. Advice; Ordering is cafeteria style. Menu reads right to left. Try the Baklava. 😋 perfect for lunch or early dinner.

Had a wonderful lunch experience here! The owners greeted us warmly and walked us through the ordering process. Food was delivered to us less than 10 minutes after ordering. She even gave us great suggestions for how best to eat/enjoy our dishes. Highly recommend! Will definitely go back.

AMAZING food. So flavorful, tender, and fresh! Very great locally owned business with very friendly and helpful staff! Definitely recommend. I go a few times a month and even after I move I’ll make the drive for this food.

Also, regarding the one comment about the owners personality clearly someone who is not very cultured. Often those from other cultures have different syntax to their voice and can be soft spoken. Having rules in her store and her own operating hours is HER CHOICE. She has always been very kind and very helpful. Ignore the ignorance and I appreciate your food and kindness.

Been here many times over the years since it opened. Consistent food quality and service. Anytime I am close, this is where I choose to eat! Fresh high quality ingredients. Garlic sauce is outta sight! Family run!

This place is great if you are unfamiliar with this type of food. Easy menu to put together an order. And for those of us craving this food, it hits the spot. House special hummus fantastic. Baklava so buttery and gooey. Just scrumptious.

If you love mediterranean food, you must eat here. The food was delicious! The pita bread was the best I ever had. Each item was prepared just the right way it supposed to be.
The atmosphere is great too! Although they don't have a separate kids menu, you can order items without spices. The only thing I missed was authentic mediterranean drinks like Ayran. I would definitely visit this place again if traveling nearby.

My husband and I just moved to the area, and Markook is by far one of our favorite new restaurants. The food is delicious and fresh, and the staff is AMAZING. So friendly and helpful! Highly recommend building your own bowl, you can’t go wrong with any of the choices. The falafel is my favorite, and I love the baked goods at the cash wrap too.

My partner and I just stopped in for some food because primanti bros was too busy. We are so so glad we did! Every bite has so much flavor..we loved every bite! We're definitely coming back! A++++

Lucky find! This place has amazing Mediterranean food. The spicy hummus is a must have every time, along with any selection from their fresh menu. Like most restaurants currently, only takeout is available, and they prepare it well. I struggle making it home before reaching for the hummus and pitas. I need to order two so the kids can have some too. Flavorful, and aromatic, fresh and well portioned.

10 out of 10 hands down some of the best food I've ever had. Never tried Mediterranean food before and this had to be the best thing I've eaten in a long time great service! They treat you like family!

You should try the Shawerma with their hummus its very delicious. I struggled to find the best restaurant here..
And the pita bread is frushh so yummy 😋
No need to talk about the tabouleh and the salad it's like from their country and the cooked everything with love.

The food here was AMAZING...flavorful, fresh, and delicious! Owners are super friendly and helped us decide how to choose from all the various dinner options. I had the salmon platter, my husband had the chicken kabob platter, and my daughter had the chicken shawarma platter. We were all very happy! Do yourself a favor, stop here now.

Amazing experience from start to finish. We were warmly greeted when we entered and asked if we'd like the menu explained. It takes just a moment and if you're new, it helps! First of all the hummus was the star of the show. It was creamy and delicious. I got an order to take home because great hummus seems to be hard to come by. The steak shwarma was tender and flavorful. The baba ganoush was tangy and smooth. Loved the puffy bread that comes with the meal. Baklava was flaky and sweet and full of nuts. Also, can't forget the falafel, it was both crispy and soft, one of the best I've ever had. I also appreciate that when the lovely woman who took our order brought our food out to us she explain the traditional way of eating the foods we ordered. I will definitely be back.

Fresh, delicious food, impeccably clean restaurant, and very sweet and helpful staff. Definitely worth taking a break from nearby outlet shopping to have a tasty meal.

Delicious food and awesome service! When I came in, I expressed to the woman behind the counter that this was my first time there. She proceeded to enthusiastically give me an explanation of the ordering process and their menu items. She also gave some great recommendations. The baba ganoush was so delicious! I ordered the chicken shawarma, which is thinly cut grilled dark meat. It was so good. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone stopping through Washington, PA! The food is amazing and the service is friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely fantastic! Fantastic food, fantastic service! It was our first time eating here and they were so helpful explaining the menu. Lots of healthy and delicious food options! We got a platter and a bowl. Pitas were fresh! And they kept checking to make sure we were happy with the food! I wish we could eat here everyday! Definitely coming back
