The SpringHouse Country Market and Restaurant

Had one of the best buffet style breakfasts in a long time ! Service was very friendly and quick and food was delicious. They have a great selection and even better sausage gravy. This is a wonderful place to stop in and relax while enjoying country views and even some entertainment provided by the free range chickens. The store inside is very cool they have a nice bakery and deli and fresh pasta salads. Will definitely be back in with friends!

We had a gathering for my Mom's 93rd birthday at the Springhouse. Thanks to the Sunday staff for giving her a giant cupcake and candle and they even sang happy birthday to her! The food was great and desserts even better! It was "utterly" fantastic!

Really enjoyed the fall festivities and the food was excellent. Prices were great for all that is included. Great variety of pumpkins to choose from in the patch and of Plenty of activities and games for kids of all ages; the giant hay bales with tube slides were the favorite along with the giant corn maze. We stayed for dinner and had a kid's chicken tender meal (2 tenders with 2 generously portioned sides), the chicken and gravy over biscuits with pittsburgh cheesy potatoes and broccoli casserole and a pulled pork sandwich. All of the food was fantastic. We followed with ice cream for dessert, fresh, creamy and very flavorful. The staff were all very polite, attentive and efficient.

What a cozy place! I had the meatloaf, broccoli casserole and shredded potatoe casserole. It was homemade & delicious! I bought some chicken salad to take home. The bakery items were too many to count. Everything looked amazing! The staff was so friendly. I highly recommend paying a visit here!

This was a fun visit with the kids. The ice cream was delicious and from what I'm told is made right here on site. Out back there is plenty of room for the kids to run and play. The wife and I sat back in some over sized chairs and just enjoyed the moment.
I would definitely recommend The Spring House Country Market for a quick evening getaway.

The Springhouse Country Market in 84 PA is a great place for great country food and is a really great time.

We most recently went for the Saturday morning brunch. $9.95 per person gets you all you can eat of biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, cheesy hash browns, and corn fritters. That's the hot stuff that is served to you as you make your way through the line. The next table had fruit salad, cinnamon sticky buns, yogurt and homemade granola. There is also homemade bread and raisin bread with what tasted like fresh churned butter.

Each and every one of these items were fantastic, hands down. My least favorite was probably the sausage gravy. It's more of a country gravy with sausage in it. It was tasty, but I personally prefer Bob Evans. But I digress... My favorite item was the homemade raisin bread. It tasted like the bread my grandma used to make. I went back for 3 more slices. Of course with the amazing butter.

The bacon was crispy and the eggs were cooked very well. Even the coffee was smooth and great to drink.

The staff was friendly and helpful, checking to make sure everything was to our liking. When I mentioned that my wife really liked the coffee, the woman actually went back to the kitchen and showed us the giant bag of coffee they use so that we could look it up online (they sold coffee by the bag, but not that brand).

The dining area was long but a smidge narrow, but still enough room for comfortable dining. It was clean and comfortable.

All in all, I would definitely give the Springhouse 5 stars. I strongly recommend that you give it a try!!

Unassuming, and located immediately off of 136, The SpringHouse warmly brings together several of the things I hold most dear: faith, family, and good food.

From the outstanding, friendly service, to the atmospheric piano playing some of my most favorite Gospel hymns, I found it all that I could do to keep from tearing up. In an age when the family unit is mocked and faith is discarded, this establishment truly brought me out of the cold Pennsylvania winter and reminded me that God's design is wonderful; it is good; and His kingdom is advancing.
So, as I ate my generous helping of Penn State chicken and green beans, I found myself overwhelmed with childhood memories growing up in Harrisburg. I'm reminded of how good it is to be part of a family. The atmosphere they have created brought near the reminder that at all times "whether eating or drinking or whatever we are doing, let us do it all to the glory of God!"

To the folks at The SpringHouse, I thank you for your faithfulness and for reminding me how deep is the Father's love for us.

Best food I've had in a long time. All fresh and homemade. Varied selection. If they are serving the Monte Cristo sandwich do yourself a favor and get it. You'll thank me later.

I drive a about 35 minutes each time I visit. They have delicious baked goods. This year we did the thanksgiving dinner package and it was delicious and nicely packaged and they brought it out and loaded it in the car.

Strongly recommend !The best ever!The decorations here are so funny and interesting!Traditional American foods are great and fresh!My daughter loves the sweet potatoes and ice cream very much!People here are so kind making us feel like at home.At first we didn't know what to choose,and they picked up each food in a bowl to let us try. They really care about your feelings!Thank you so much to give us a wonderful night!Of course we will come here again tomorrow: )

Went Sunday for dinner take out, older woman was pretty rude to younger girl working, other than that the food is amazing, service was great

Great place to go anytime of the year. Currently in fall season, pumpkins, mums everywhere, greatly decorated.
Apple cider milkshake is a must try, really delicious, glad I splurge.
Also, so very delicious & a must get is the chocolate milk.

The Springhouse is simply one of the best farm-to-table experiences in the region. And the icing on the cake: their food is absolutely phenomenal. It’s served buffet style and mostly comfort food. The flavors, portion size, and pricing are all excellent.

On the other side of the shop, the deli and baked goods are always a hit. And of course, the diary is super fresh, the real deal, and from their cows and chickens.

Stepping into Springhouse is like stepping back in time, in absolutely the best way possible. They get nostalgia right and it’s a wonderful family experience.

I've been coming here for years and always enjoy the food. Brought some friends who wanted to try it. Everything was delicious, especially the stuffed pork chops and city chicken. Chocolate milk and coffee milk was so refreshing. Always take some home. Their pies are always great. But today their strawberry rhubarb pie was the best I ever had. It was a fun day for the kids to play in the farm field. Just a great day!!

Great spot if you're new & or visiting the area. Such a welcoming pleasant atmosphere. Bring your appetite & sweet tooth. Lots of locally owned goods for sale like salsa & jam. Their Lemon Meringue pie - WOW - you can eat inside or there's tables outside. Better for older children but there is a yard outside with great photo opps with Black & White cow cutouts & other cute sights.

Some of the best food I’ve had in PA. The Monte Cristo is to absolutely die for and don’t get me started on their mashed potatoes. I will definitely return again and again!

Everything is excellent all the food ,pies,cup cakes too are excellent. And it's not cheap!!!

This is a good Family location and the staff are so friendly. The lunch depends on the season, but it good. You can never go wrong with any ice cream flavor. I enjoyed the bakery item the most especially the carrot cake. The ran out of apple pie 😔🥧

I have been visiting this place since I was a kid so it's nostalgic for me, and now I bring my kids. They love the food (mainly the ice cream) and they have outdoor seating areas and fun stuff set up outside for the kids to do. In the summer they have a gorgeous garden and in the fall there's a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay maze, hay rides and more...it's always a fun place to visit, we love it
