Very nice environment very relaxing. The barbecue is great! Service was fast. Specialty flavored bbq sauce. The mac and cheese was very good. My wife loved the flight of margaritas! We ordered the full swine and Between 2 of us we still had plenty of left overs.

Built in an old Farmhouse with much of the original building intact. Restaurant has diners on multiple floors and several outdoor eating opportunities as well. The BBQ is some of the best I've had outside of Texas. Brisket, Pork, and Ribs are good. The true star though is the turkey. Definitely some of the best smoked turkey I've ever had. Well worth a stop if traveling or living in Washington PA.

Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Go, try it ! You will be happy that you did... and I didn't even have BBQ ! Blackened salmon on a pear walnut salad... truly the best... and the best mac 'n cheese !

It’s a cute place with lots of options. The food my family and I had was fantastic. They also have many Gluten Free options, which is great. The waitress we had was very sweet and quick. Not only that but the food was ready very quickly too.

This is my pick for best local restaurant. The bbq is quite good and the sauces they offer are excellent examples of the styles they represent. Service is excellent and the building itself is charming.

Happy hour is great! The Pig and Chips were half off and came with so much pulled pork! The Pear and Walnut salad is my usual go-to. I love how the restaurant is located in an old house - it’s such a cool experience.

Five stars for sure! The food was excellent, beginning with the poutine appetizer , right through to the delicious peaches and cream dessert. We were eager to try everything on the menu, so we opted to share the swine platter. We chose the pulled pork, pulled chicken, beef brisket, sour cream and onion tots, and at the suggestion from our server, Dayne, the potato salad. More than enough food for the two of us. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a drink from the excellent bar menu. Local beers and spirits are always a plus. The service provided by Dayne, was great! We didn’t feel rushed and his suggestions for food and beverage were on point. We can’t wait to go back. Side note: google is asking for a price rage per person. Keep in mind that we had an appetizer, alcohol, and dessert. In my opinion, the prices are very reasonable.

The barbecue restaurant I visited was a delicious and satisfying experience. From the moment I walked in, the smoky aroma of slow-cooked meat filled the air, and I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with rustic decor and friendly staff.

The menu had a great selection of meats, sides, and sauces. I opted for the brisket and pulled pork combo, which was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The meat was cooked to perfection, with a smoky bark and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The sides were equally impressive, with creamy mac and cheese and tangy coleslaw.

The standout dish, however, was the restaurant's signature barbecue sauce. The sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness and tang, with a hint of heat that lingered on the tongue. I couldn't get enough of it, and ended up buying a bottle to take home.

Overall, the barbecue restaurant was a great dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone in search of delicious, hearty food. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was top-notch. Whether you're a barbecue aficionado or just looking for a satisfying meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit

The ribs had an excellent smoky flavor. The loaded mac and cheese was very creamy. The portions are huge. Once ordered the food came out very quickly. Cornbread was dry, would not get that again.

We went here for supper on March 2, 2024.
We were staying at the Hampton Inn, and didn't even have to go out onto the main street to get there. Just meandered through the parking lot shared with multiple businesses.
We ordered takeout. We got a full rack of ribs and 2 sides to share. Still had leftovers!
We had a beer while waiting.
Excellent selection of imported beers. I had my favourite Scottish beer, Innis & Gunn.
The food was ready very quickly.
Super friendly staff.
The place is a big old house with lots of rooms. I think it was a designated heritage building (could be wrong).
Excellent atmosphere.
We would definitely return.

My husband and I were in the area for a weekend getaway and decided to stop here for lunch. The place itself is so unique and beautiful. My husband got a seasonal eggnog drink since it was happy hour (12-1 daily) and he said it was delicious. We ordered the 4 wings with white sauce for an appetizer and oh my goodness, they were AMAZING! So fresh, tasty, crispy, and huge! I got the Turkey Bacon sandwich and fries which was decent. It came with a bbq ranch that was good. My husband got the Mac n cheese loaded with brisket. It was veryyy good! The staff was very nice and on top of things even for being busy and the holidays. We would definitely return, especially for the wings!!

I am by no means a barbecue fanatic at all. Usually it's one of the last things I choose to eat. We stopped here on a whim, considering we drive by on a daily basis, and just thought it looked like a really cool restaurant. After eating there, I could not go through life without leaving this restaurant a five star review!!! lol. Myself and my boyfriend were absolutely blown away on how amazing the food was. Service was great as well (although it could've been absolutely awful Service and I would not have cared because the food was THAT GOOD!!). I had the brisket tacos with a side of macaroni and cheese. It was phenomenal!!! I don't remember what he had ...some sort of burger? But it came with french fries... they were outstanding. He Was unwilling to share anything off of his plate 😂

This is one of those restaurants that definitely deserves a second location in the future ...if if they don't have one already 💯

I’m not a frequent reviewer writer, but this business impressed the heck out of me. They’ve been a solid choice of mine for several years now with consistently great ribs, slaw, and mac (my go to order). They also have some great sauces, including their “hog sauce”. I think it’s apple cider vinegar based, but whatever it is, it’s fantastic. Anyway, ordered my usual tonight and requested several sides of hog sauce. Drove 20 min each way to pick up order and upon unpacking the order at home, I notice the hog sauces are missing. This being BBQ, the sauces are kinda important and I’m dreading having to possibly drive back there. I called the store, and I was expecting a disappointing conversation where I was offered something like a $5 credit off my next meal and the “opportunity” to come pick up the missing sauces. However, the call was accepted graciously, and without hesitation, they offer to bring the sauces to my house! In this age of DoorDash and what not, this may not seem like a huge deal. However, this was a Friday night, near closing time, and a 20 minute drive. Kudos to this business for knowing their customer and recognizing that something as trivial as some sauce cups can make or break the customer experience. This is a business that cares and because of my experience tonight, they have gained an even more loyal customer, more word of mouth advertising, and this review. If a business is doing the “small stuff” right, like this, then one can assume the rest of the operation is top notch. Hope this doesn’t sound too over the top, but I’m just impressed with my experience. Thanks Pig and Fire and keep up the great product and customer service!

Ate here tonight, I thought my order was very good, I had the half rack of baby back ribs that were cooked to the point where the meat fell off the bone literally, no fat what so ever (a trait of baby back ribs) and two sides, mashed potatoes and an interesting take on baked beans, very spicy but good, I liked them. Washed everything down with Weienstephaner bier. I'm the back of the restaurant they have a nice outdoor bar with many fine beers on tap including Southern Tier 2X Milk Stout, my favorite!

Fantastic food. We had the brisket, grean beans and mac/cheese. Brisket was juicy, beans with bacon were out of this world. Mac/cheese was a little bland...maybe some pepper. 3 choices of sauce, all of which are tasty. Wish I lived close so I could go back. We sat outside and enjoyed the view, music and fresh air.

Got the Texas style baby back ribs, half rack! Absolutely delicious and tangy! Fall off the bone. Got a side of the Gouda Mac and Cheese. It too was delicious! The meat was smoked to perfection and the sauce was unique. Not too sweet not too tangy. Not hot spicy at all. Acacia was my server. She was very friendly, professional and had a very engaging personality! She was a worker and appeared to really love her job. She’d be an asset no matter where she worked! Loved the atmosphere as I dined outside. Nice location on a hill. Overall an A+ on the entire experience!

First time eating here, wont be the last. Ribs and brisket were great. The most interesting coleslaw that I have ever had. Peaches and cream dessert may be the best thing I have ever eaten. Great beer selection. Staff were very curteous and helpful with questions regarding the menu and recommendations.

Our first visit. Came for the bourbon selection as a recommendation from a friend. We were blown away by service. Great beer and bourbon selection. We had Blantons on the rocks with a cute pig shaped ice cube and a few craft beers. BBQ was top notch—we enjoyed the sampler platter to share.
