Irwin Park

We live 30 miles away. I visit Irwin twice a month.Recently started looking for playground free things to do while there. I have 6 children ages 23,( still my baby too)16,14,13,12,3. First time visiting was July 2 2022. Easily directioned through goolgle. 2 seperate parking areas one closest to the playground equipment and a nice covered eating/ gathering area with picnic tables and a grill. With the other area being closer to the courts. Nicely cleaned circular walking trail. Creek/ stream flowing near the park as well that looked very cooling on the hot 90 degree temps. However it looks as though repairs are being made to fix uneven areas to the walking trail. So we werent able to wade in it. Safety cones and signs were posted. Bikes are permitted in certain areas only according to the signs. They also have a ball field. a stage for some type of performances, and a building behind the big row of swings. Not sure if toilets were available..we had to go ,so we had to gooo. Will be stopping back down again once more this month. Would love to see that we could wade in the water this upcoming visit.

Our favorite park to go to! My son absolutely loves it here! In fact we usually spend about at least 4 hours every time we go. Today, April 23, we stayed for 5 hours. He never wants to leave!

Very nice park with a walking track and amphitheater. It is sad that Little Knights Kingdom is closed. When I was a teenager I always thought it would be an awesome place in the to bring my future kids. Now that I have future kids it's closed.

Tres lads free concert in the park at the amphitheater. Great show. Bring a chair you're cooler and enjoy a free show in the park. Thank you to all of the sponsors for making it possible. There is also a playground for children restrooms and today the concession stand was open.

Very well maintained family-oriented lots of stuff to do down there

Kept pretty clean, we play in the creek catching minnows. The lower playground is nice, and well kept, however, the upper one is closed because of people's vandalism! Very disappointing, because it was a VERY NICE PARK!!! There's still a lot of things to do there with kids. They also put on concerts there and they have a break field there also.

This is a very nice park. The kids love it! There's lots of space for them to play, swings, basketball courts, big updated playground, and space for the summer concerts that go on in the summer. Its away from the road and a great family place.

They put in a nice playset. My kids love it. And new tables at the pavilion. I wish they would fix up Little Knights Kingdom but we still love the park

Nice local park with plenty of parking and well maintained bathrooms. There's a children's play area, covered picnic area, walking track, and a little band shell / stage for concerts.

Nice public park, when I was there last they were updating playground equipment and putting in new mulch around it so the kids don't get hurt as easily.

Looks nothing like the park I grew up on but it's definitely a huge improvement! The kids love it here.

Nice park. Has hockey court. Tennis basketball hoops playground & pavilion

They tore down the old wooden castle playground. There's 2 new playgrounds right next to each other, one's smaller for younger kids.

Nice for light walking or if you have kids

Beautiful, calm, enjoyable. Dog loved it. Hopefully they will bring back summer entertainment this year.

Nice little public park. Could use some trees for shade but otherwise a decent place.

Nice well kept park.was there for easter egg event they had for the kids.

I go down there all the time and it awesome

The playground is new and huge and the walking track has 2 loops. Well kept and beautiful.
