Pep Boys

This is my second time coming to this particular Pep Boys and it has been great both times. The first time I needed a tire fixed and they did it complimentary for me. Which they have no idea how much I appreciated that at the time. This time I needed to get my inspection stickers replaced. I walked in and they took my car back almost immediately. Very happy with my experiences! Thank you!

I've been a customer of this location for a few years and have nothing but positive comments about my experiences. Every employee I've interacted with has been pleasant and easy to work with. The waiting room is clean and comfortable with space to work from your laptop, if need be.

Very good service overall today. Had my Honda brought in for state inspection and oil change. The guy that helped me at the front desk, Ronald--I think that was his name--really knew his stuff and explained things well to me. And told me that if they don't see that I need a repair/service they wouldn't try to sell it to me. So they're really not trying to upsell you here. I only really needed to get what I needed there. I was hesitant about the oil change since I hardly drove my car but my last oil change was 1.5 year ago and Ronald explained well to me why I would benefit from one and I agreed from the researches I did myself. Plus, since I was there for the state inspection, it saved me time to just do the oil change as well. The tire rotation also came with the oil change. Also, these guys are quite efficient. I was in and out in just about an hour-- I did get there on time as well. I would recommend Pep Boys at this location.

Came into the irwin location thinking I had an appointment only to realize I accidentally made it for the wrong store. Ronnie was there and had absolutely no problems helping me out and taking me in! Him and one of his technicians repaired my tire for me and then let me know that I was due for a tire rotation and that I could do it free of charge. He went absolutely above and beyond for me especially considering I didn’t even ask for a tire rotation and it was getting to be the end of the night. They definitely didn’t have to do that for me, but they gave me their time anyways. Very much appreciated!!!

Ronnie the manager has really turned this place around. He is a great guy. The work was great, done right and done fast. I was thinking of getting my work done somewhere else with that service I was receiving. But not now I am very appreciative and impressed.

Even though the inspection seemed to be a little on the expensive side, I'm still rating them a 5 star because my husband and I have called at multiple times, on different days to inquire about getting an inspection and on each occasion they were willing to accommodate us. I was able to call and be accepted within 15 minutes of the call, while I called around to other local businesses and would have to wait upwards to a week or more to be seen, or would have to drop my vehicle off for the entire day. I was in and out just shy of an hour and was provided updates both verbally and electronically while I waited. It was an overall good service. Thank you for coming through when I was in a bind, Pep Boys!

This was my third or fourth purchase of tires at this facility and although there seemed to be an internal miscommunication about my (re)scheduled appointment, they literally pulled my car in exactly at 4:00 (my scheduled time). They were understaffed, but took care of me and when I ordered the wrong tires online, I was fortunate enough that the person in charge had the set that I needed. All and all it they did a great job servicing my needs. I will continue to use them as their hours fit my needs.

We needed some work done on our car and having just moved to a new area, haven't established a new mechanic. That has been resolved. Everyone that we dealt with at this location was kind, knowledgeable and upfront about every single thing that needed done. We will definitely be back whenever we need stuff done.

I had issues getting a replacement tire for my flat tire BUT the manager of Pep Boys in Irwin was extremely helpful and professional and went out of his way to help me find a replacement tire. I DEFINITELY recommend them for any of your cars' needs.

Guys did an awesome job only complaint is they are always understaffed and over booked. The guys do a great job but making appointment doesn’t seem to help and they are honest at the shop about the real timeline for your work. Make arrangements for a ride it’s going to take a while.

Everything went smooth to do change of oil and rotate my tires. Gentileman was very nice to work with about what I wanted done to my car.

Friendly service. Multiple day/time options for scheduling when it’s convenient for you. Easy night drop off for early morning service. They make you feel appreciated for using their business. Itemized bill so you know exactly what you are paying for.

I had a slow leak in a tire and they took me immediately and fixed the tire at a very reasonable price. I was very pleased.

Very nice, he got me right in put my tires on. He located some major issues that I needed to handle and we got everything fixed.

I was already having a bad day and when I found out a simple tire repair became a whole lot more I was very overwhelmed. The staff was very friendly to me and helped me out in every way they could. They probably thought I was some emotional girl but their kindness really meant a lot to me that day. Highly recommend this place.

The guys at the Rt. 30 North Huntington store are the best. I had an issue with a battery after just 14 months and the took care of the issue by replacing the battery since it was under warranty. They're always helpful and knowledgeable.

Amazing customer service. In and out in no time at all, very knowledgeable and informative and didn't try to get me to buy more than I absolutely needed. Would highly recommend!

They were super kind and there was a small hiccup but they handled it very well! Definitely would come back and recommend to others.
