amazing Christmas lights. Would recommend to everyone. The pictures don't do it justice. Remember to bring cash if you want things like cookies or hot chocolate

Beautiful overlook near the parking lot gave us a wonderful first impression. There are numerous trails from which to choose with varying difficulties. One day here doesn't seem like enough time to explore what this park has to offer. You will not be left wanting more.

The Christmas Magic at Rocky Rodge was absolutely beautiful this year! They had more displays, an interactive scavenger hunt, and (of course) the Train House was amazing!

My husband and I had our marriage at the Ruffed Grouse Pavilion and it fits 150 people. Gorgeous space with a stone fireplace accent wall. Not too far from bathrooms, a playarea for the kids, and the little Nature space and walking trails were great for photos!
I've also been to several community events here and I just love the space.

This is a beautiful and peaceful park to spend a day or some hours. It is clean, safe, and calm. You will find here plenty of benches, pick nick tables, several kids’ playgrounds, a public restroom. Two overview decks open in front of your eyes beautiful views of the surroundings. If you are lucky, while strolling in the park, you might see rabbits, squirrels and hear a lot of birdies. The place was not crowded, however, I visited on Tuesday afternoon. Several large parkings are available in the area. I met some couples, parents with kids, dog owners and single hikers. I followed the “white” path, which went through the forest, it took me around an hour. The path was clean and not very steep, suitable for beginners. You find the map of the paths on the park’s website.

Overall, this is a beautiful place if you want to do physical activity in nature or generally rest from city noises, people, cars, etc., however, if you are a tourist and seeking something spectacular, may be you should pick another place.

Nestled away from the urban hustle, the wooded park is a local haven that effortlessly captivates. As you meander through well-kept trails, a natural symphony of rustling leaves and birdsong surrounds you. Towering trees form a soothing canopy, providing shade and a picturesque setting for a leisurely stroll or a rejuvenating hike.

What sets this park apart is its thoughtful design, incorporating a designated birdwatch spot that's a true delight for nature enthusiasts. Strategic clearings offer unobstructed views, making it an ideal perch for spotting an array of avian residents. Whether you're an avid birder or just someone seeking a moment of serenity, this designated area adds a special touch to the overall experience.

Scenic picnic spots are scattered throughout, inviting visitors to linger and soak in the tranquil ambiance. The fragrance of the woods, the vibrant hues of flora, and the cheerful chatter of birds create an immersive retreat. Families, couples, and solo wanderers will find solace in the simplicity and charm of this wooded park, making it a cherished destination for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful escape.

Only been here once or twice in the summer. Winter, they have a great Christmas light display and activity. The lights were fun because you can tell that they have been acquired over the decades. Bigger incandescent light strings, smaller incandescent light string, LED lights . . . Pavilions have a fire places going to warm up by, coco, trains. Easy walking, not sure about wheelchair accessibility but it might be a go. Park Rangers are around to help if needed, pleasant and knowledgable.

This was a great Park. I enjoyed all of the hiking trails that I went on (Red, White and Teal Rectangle trails). The Mountain Laurels along the trails were in bloom which was nice. The views from the Observation Decks near the Powerline towers were also great.

Great trails of variable difficulties. Several nice overlooks to see out across the surroundings. Great spots for photos. Check out the Hawk Watch deck for a lovely sunset view over York Co.

For a county park, this has to be one of the best! So well maintained! This place is great for everyone! Mountain biking, trail running, long hikes, the kids at the nature playground or other playgrounds, the overlooks and endless views, the places to picnic, the outdoor fitness gym...endless fun! I love it here!

Really cool, has a variety of trails, views, both woodsy and with stone. Some hills and flat paths as well! There are multiple places to park and I believe there are restrooms available (I am not certain about that, but I think I remember seeing a sign for them)

We've been going here for Christmas Magic for years. Great spots for pics and delicious treats on the trail. Everything for Christmas Magic is paved and accessible. There are lots of other trails for biking and hiking as well.

Great park! We went here to go on the trails and see the overlook. It's a nice moderate trail and is great for couples, families, kids, etc. It's well maintained as well. And there are a lot of other things to do at this park as well. But I definitely recommend the trail.

Great location, lots of scenic views. Great variety of hiking and biking trails. There are plenty of facilities available including pavilions, rest rooms, playgrounds, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, etc. Rocky Ridge is also host to a fantastic Christmas light display every winter.

Had our grandsons 1st birthday party at the Chipmunk pavilion. Reasonable price for full day rental. Highly satisfied with all they had to offer such as paved walking path, bike trails, bathrooms near by and playground within sight of the pavilion. We even had a deer a few feet away 😊
