Hopewell Area Recreation-Parks

Got up early with a group of yogus and walked/ran the trail and then did yoga. Beautiful track, flat and easy. Friendly people!

Visiting on a Sunday evening post carnival - the grounds were well cleaned up and there seemed to be no one else around despite only 2 other cars anywhere close by.
Easy access off of the street, but watch out for those killer speed bumps! I wouldn't want to challenge them with a low profile vehicle! (Although I'm sure they're passable with some skill and a new undercarriage.) Parking is ample with wide spacing, backing or pulling in is easy with the wide spaces. Doggy receptacles were available and the various kids areas also seemed well maintained.

Stewartstown’s Fireworks were great! Live music.
Great outing for families especially with small children. Plenty of portable restrooms. Wonderful Fourth of July!

Multi- Plex park baseball fields in the Summer The Stewartstown Firemans Carnival is held here in July.
Back during World War 2 there was a Prisoner of War Camp.
The Prisoners worked The Factories and Feilds. Because the majority of American Men were off fighting in the war ✌💚🙃

This park is the cleanest well kept park I have ever been to. It has a nice walking trail. People bring their dogs for walks ,tennis courts. There is a picnic area. I love it and will continue to spend beautiful days with the kids there

Our grandchildren call this Granddad & Grandma Park. They love the playground, and the fields. The pavilion was perfect for sitting out a thunderstorm, sharing lunch and even watching a soccer game in damp weather. The paved walkways are a pleasure, even when the fields are wet. A good choice for recreation!

Loins Club fall festival was very nice got pit beef sandwiches & Cherie's pineapple upside down cakes. And some Christmas presents. Very nice. Thank you.

All of the important activities in Stewartstown happen here. There is a concession building that is open during holiday events and such. The baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball court, and walking track are here as well as 2 playgrounds.

Nice area for kids football. Little park, Porta potties, stairs down a step slope, and decent parking.

The best Fireworks show. JC Fisher Band was performing as well. If you haven't heard them it's a must. They are fantastic.

Nice!! Ball fields and history places. Was a pow camp in the 1940s. Nice place to walk your dog.

Great little area to walk, run or bike. Has tennis courts and fields to enjoy what ever your activity might be.

Great park. Plenty to do. Additional (small) playground down the hill by the lower soccer fields.

Quiet, clean and friendly people. Great place to play ball, power walk on track. Hikke with dogs. Great parking.

Open and refreshing quiet during the winter months but a busy place the rest our the year.

Lots of great seasonal events, which are kid friendly. Also has adult activities in the evenings.

Use the walking track with my dogs. Could use some shade but other then that we enjoy walking there
