I stop at this one occasionally, the Fawn Grove location is my favorite! However staff is always friendly and helpful at this location as well.

5 stars for them staff not management. Overnight team especially jack and Ursula are phenomenal. Being a 5x a week customer i have never had problems with the food or service. Wish they got some help though... I saw 11 orders come in at once and one person having to deal with that along with cleaning and stocking is way too much. Not including rude drunk customers parading inside the store and there's no security. Really shows how the company considers profits over employees.

Just stopped on my way north. Clean, bright, I like their food quality better than other chain gas stations, and I just had the best personal pizza! Exactly right to order, fluffy, crunchy crust, so yummy. All worth it.

Absolutely fantastic a great experience instead of giving Sheetz more money for worse food. Ordered the rib basket and it came done just right very tender and unbelievable that gas station can actually produce this quality meal.

I've always liked Rutter's; it's a great local chain. I told a co-worker a few weeks ago, "I've been to the Rutter's in Fawn Grove a couple of times and it's amazing." He told me "You know what's even more impressive? The super Rutter's in Stewartstown."

"I've driven past there several times and it doesn't look that impressive to me."

"No, dude! It's the real deal!"

"If you say so."

So then I was driving into Stewartstown after coming off I-83 at Shrewsbury last week. I decided that I was going to stop by Rutter's just to get gas. So I pull into Rutter's and there are a TON of gas pumps. The gas canopy wraps almost the entire way around the store.

So I fill up my tank and then I say "You know what? I'm gonna go into the store for a soda and maybe a bite to eat." Now, there are a number of billboards across south-central PA advertising Rutter's burgers and fries. There's one right below a McDonald's sign on I-83 northbound just south of York. I saw that billboard and I said "Come on! Rutter's can't possibly have better burgers and fries than McDonald's."

But then I enter the store of this Rutter's in Stewartstown and there's an assembly of order screens arranged in a circle. Not only are the screens and ordering process much more dynamic and in-depth than those of competing convenience stores like Wawa and Royal Farms, but the selection of food appears to be more expansive as well. It was at that moment that I realized that Rutter's is indeed a very serious competitor with Sheetz, Turkey Hill, Royal Farms, Wawa, et cetera.

I like getting quesadillas from Wawa so I decided to try out a Rutter's quesadilla. Then I chose a side of french fries just to mix things up. There's an option to make your order a combo by selecting a fountain beverage, and I was going to get a soda anyway, so I selected my soda size and then indicated that my order was complete. A few minutes later my order was ready and it was given to me in a very nice brown paper bag with handles. The cashier told me to have a nice day and that was the cherry on top.

I still think Wawa's quesadillas are better, but this one was acceptable. The fries were much, much better than those from every major fast-food chain. I now feel ready to try a Rutter's burger because I now trust their assertion that Rutter's is worth going to for burgers and fries instead of McDonald's and Burger King. Rutter's slogan is "Why Go Anywhere Else?" and given their overwhelming food and drink selection at the "super Rutter's" in Stewartstown, that slogan is absolutely true.

Always a good experience. Employees are wearing a smile, even during our usual late night Rutters runs. Brandon is normally our cashier and he’s great! The pandemic didn’t change our good experience even a bit.
