Food is very good ! Nice environment for groups and family. Romantic. Great service. Reservations recommended. Little pricey plenty of food! Well worth it.

Came here after a day at the mall, the atmosphere is great and has a “prohibition” type of theme. The food was very good as well, had the rice balls and paella to eat. Definitely would recommend this place!

We had no reservations on Easter, but were accomodated without hesitation as if a red carpet was rolled out by Rocco, our curator of culinary delight for the evening. Everything was exquisite from the malbec wine paired with mouth watering rack of lamb and sensational veal to the rich dark chocolate lava dessert. The meal was perfection, and we will definitely be back Thank you, Rocco, and Dolce for a 10 out of 5 star experience!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this outstanding Italian restaurant, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

The menu showcased a delightful array of authentic Italian dishes, each a masterpiece in its own right. The attention to detail in the preparation was evident in every bite. The flavors were bold and genuine, transporting me straight to the heart of Italy. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauces rich and flavorful, and the ingredients fresh and of the highest quality.

Our server was knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations, ensuring we had a tailored dining experience.

Wow! We were looking for something new and found Dolce on a recommendation from a friend. It was outstanding! Great service (Megan was fantastic) and everything was cooked perfectly. Great wine list too. We started with the Brussels Sprouts (sorry, no picture). My wife had the Seafood Paella and I had the Chicken Scarpiello. Finished it off with the Key Lime dessert special and Raspberry Sorbet. We are lucky to live near NYC where the restaurants have to be good to stay in business. Dolce was that good - truly an experience not to be missed.

❤ABSOLUTELY LOVE DOLCE! Food was so delicious (as you can see from my photos). My family and I had such a great time. The waiters and waitresses were so caring and attentive. The food tasted fresh, perfectly seasoned and was cooked to perfection. My mother is an incredible cook, and she always makes Italian, (because we are Italian- DUH 😅) and we all felt that the food was something similar to what you would get as a home cooked meal!!! We will definitely be returning soon!!! Thank you for such a great night!

We were travelling and staying overnight in Danbury, and stopped in for dinner with my wife and daughter. Food was delicious and Rocco, our waiter, was so welcoming, fun and helpful in recommending dishes we could share! Will definitely be back if we are travelling through the area again!

The best experience, the ambience is amazing and the food was great. Rocco made our experience 100 times better by making us feel welcome and at home! Everyone needs a Rocco at their restaurant!

There's no shortage of places to eat on Mill Plain Rd, but Dolce should be on your short list. Inside there is a bar area partitioned from the cozy dining area, and a separate "3 season room" that also doubles for events.

The food is Italian and spectacular, with authentic hard-to-find favorites like Putanesca with shrimp and calamari. The entrees look fantastic, taste fantastic and are well portioned. There is a moderate sized wine list with a spectrum of choices, but there is always a handful of special concoctions from the bar also available.

On the Sunday night we ate there a man with an acoustic guitar rifled through a fantastic playlist providing a relaxing background to our meal. Overall a wonderful experience.

Amazing food. There are so many delicious looking options and only so much time in the area. I tried the chicken and smoked mozzarella ravioli with a creamy sausage sauce. The crab cake appetizer was delicious as well with mango and a pesto style sauce.

Was there in a family dinner the service was excellent. Food 10/10 loved the shrimp and scallops, and cocktails were so delicious I had the pink dolce 😍

Delicious food! We ordered takeout early Sunday Evening and the food was hot and delicious and cooked with very fresh quality ingredients.
The Capellini Piemontese Dish was cooked to perfection and it was a very generous portion that you can either split it with a 2nd person or eat it for leftovers the next day. We also ordered grinders Chicken and Meatball Parmigiana. Everyone said the food was excellent and tasty.
For dessert we had cannoli’s and they were delicious as well! The shells were crispy and the filling was very fresh and had just the right amount!
Definitely recommend! Every time we go we either dine in or do takeout and Dolce on Mill Plain Road never disappoints.

One of my favorite places in the neighborhood Benny and his crew are so nice. The food is delicious and the staff is great. I love it there.

Romantic relaxed ambiance, friendly staff good menu selections, great wine menu , southern decor with a rustic twist ,plenty of parking , easy access to I-84 .

A small group went for a business dinner and the food and service were excellent. I had ravioli and the sausage sauce was really good.
