The Mediterranean salad was delicious, crumbly feta, just the way it should be. The pizza was light on cheese, which wasn’t a bad thing and the tomato sauce wasn’t too sweet which allowed the rich tomato flavour to shine through.

From the moment we stepped into this quaint Italian bistro, we knew we were in for a treat. The warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for what was to be an unforgettable dining experience.

I opted for the homemade rigatoni with Pomodoro sauce, adding meatballs to my dish. The rigatoni was perfectly al dente and the Pomodoro sauce bursting with the fresh flavors of sun-ripened tomatoes, basil, and a hint of garlic.

My wife's choice was equally impressive - homemade fettuccine with truffle. The fettuccine was expertly crafted, tender yet firm, and the truffle added an exquisite depth of flavor that elevated the dish to new heights. It was clear that the ingredients were of the highest quality and the dishes were prepared with a lot of care and passion.

But what truly set our experience apart was the outstanding service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their offerings. They made us feel welcomed and valued, enhancing our dining experience.

We ended the evening with what might have been the best tiramisu we’ve had.

Authentic Italian pastry shop. Great service and gluten free pastry/pastries available! All of their crepes are also gluten and dairy free. Also a good selection of hot teas. I’m so glad I stopped by. 🤓

I drove 50 min to go there, I only took a picture of the salad which was more than I expected! Delicious !! But we also ordered coffee, matcha, paninis and cheese cake! All tasted fresh! And not very oily or sweet. Also, the employees were very nice and kind! I’m looking forward to go back soon !

The greatest espresso and coffee in all of Connecticut. These guys are the real deal. The owner Andrea Lombardi is super knowledgeable in how to deliver the best espresso, it's delivered hot, foamy, and perfectly balanced and NOT sour! Their freshly baked goods are amazing! I recommend their Cannolis, burrata and their truffle pasta. Seriously their truffle pasta is beyond words and a huge surprise given the abundance of Italian restaurants in Fairfield county, I have yet to find anything that tastes this good. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I am beyond jealous that New Canaan has this gem. I look forward to coming here for the years to come, you should too!

A new found gem! My mom and I ate inside- got a panini and a salad which we both loved, followed by a delicious crepe. Got some Nutella doughnuts to go and they were phenomenal - one of the best I have ever had / so fresh. Food came out promptly and the staff was very sweet and friendly. Highly recommend!

So, occasionally you find a diamond in the rough. This place is it! The food was absolutely superb. Distinct flavors, each resonating independently to the next sensation of taste, with a subtly that is rarely duplicated. As a chef myself, I have to say I was not only pleasantly surprised but delighted. The staff was great, the food was, quite literally, unique and prepared with skill. Pure pleasure eating it. Unmistakable unique. I would recommend this place to those with a discerning palate. I merely asked them to bring their best dishes and they didn’t disappoint - a tasty salad, carpaccio with cheese and arugula to die for, delicate fish with capers, and pasta with truffles…all of which boasted a robust, multifarious blend of different ingredients that came together to make all the dishes blend together with exploding aroma, texture and taste. Oh my God, I cannot say enough good things about this place - you need to go there right now! They are doing something right and incredible. Forget Cava and the rest. Go here instead.

Dolce is my go-to for Italian style espresso was very curious when they started offering dinner. I went this past week and had the spaghetti carbonara and it was amazing! The flavor was very balanced (Some places make it too light) and the pasta was outstanding. I just came back from a month in Italy and this topped may of the dishes I had on the trip. Needless to say, I've been telling all of my family they must try.

Definitely some great coffee and pastries, their cannolis are definitely on point. One of my favorite place to visit when I go home. The staff is friendly the restrooms are clean they are very very covid friendly and sanitary. Make sure you check this place out you won't be sorry 😊😊

Great food. Great service.
The breakfast sandwich is delicious. Especially on the Portuguese muffin. The crepes are also very good, we particularly enjoyed the dolce de leche ones.
My wife loves the avocado toast and my son can probably put away a dozen of the chocolate donuts.
The coffee is always very good but the straws (paper) tend to bend and leak so I recommend bringing your own or not using one.
The prices are very reasonable, especially for the area.
The inside is cozy and it can be difficult to find a seat during busy times but the outdoor seating is available as well.
The people have always been very friendly and accommodating

This authentic Italian place has been my favorite since opening in 2019. Heart of NC when it comes to café, Pastries and Italian sandwiches. And the two brothers running it - super great!

Stopped here for breakfast with friends and sat at the tables outside. We had five adults, a baby, and a dog with us, and this was the perfect spot for our party to enjoy breakfast all together. I ordered the breakfast truffle sandwich on a Portuguese muffin and an iced chai with oat milk. I could not have been happier with my decisions. Both were so good! Someone else in my party raved about their egg sandwich with avocado on croissant. They press their breakfast sandwiches panini style. Will certain be back if I find myself in the area again.
