ACME Markets

Tonight, I traveled to Ames to pick up a grocery order for a customer, but as I was using my Uber app, I realized I needed to do the shopping myself. Feeling lost in an unfamiliar store, I was unsure where to start. Fortunately, Devin, who worked at the front end, sprang into action, offering to assist me as I was feeling overwhelmed. Devin exemplifies the type of leader that this store needs and sets a great example for our world today. With his guidance, I smoothly and efficiently navigated the process without any issues. Devin displayed excellent communication skills, patience, and a willingness to help. I highly recommend recognizing and promoting this exceptional young man to a higher position. I come here for groceries every week and while I do think that it's a bit more expensive than other nearby Acmes, the shopping experience is pleasant enough. Last Sunday I had an incredible customer service experience with a cashier named Lily. Thank you Lily for being helpful, pleasant and efficient! I was having trouble with my membership card and you went above and beyond to sort that out.

Nice smaller supermarket with a good selection and some great sales. When I have bought roasts and steaks from them it was always very good and the pork products were excellent.
The Bakery has some exceptionally creative people working there and the ideas that they come of with for Seasonal or Birthday cakes are impressive.
No matter what they do, the staff is more than friendly, even when they are busy. The fresh cut fruit bowls are nice and wonderful floral department when you forget about a Birthday on the way to the office.

Always have everything I need and then some if they don't they will do best to special order for customers - I'd say over 90% of staffs amazing but few that aren't so amazing are memorable not in a good way with interactiona I've had. Also if you catch on a good sale can't beat the prices!!! otherwise kinda normal prices but also some are high but have to be considering it's location plus its competition!

The store clerks on my most recent shopping trip were unbelievably friendly, positive, and helpful, including two young women working on Saturday morning. I cannot say enough about how much that meant to me during these challenging times!

It's amazing, and I love the service and the meals they have at the deli.

Love this place! I truly appreciate that they carry Organic Valley products and have a nice selection of 100% grassfed dairy products and meat. Always super clean and neat too. The staff is great and friendly too.

The price are good although of merchandise is on sale. The service on the self checkout is the best the person watching it is so helpful she even scans my groceries and put it on my shopping bag because I am DISABLED VERY NICE SUPERMARKET

Staff are genuinely friendly are never hesitate to ask if you need help looking for something, or stopping stocking the shelves on shipment day to see if something specific you were looking for is in. Love the New Canaan Acme team, thanks everyone for your hard work and smiling faces through this pandemic.

Very good prices, n excellent staff. Only the problem for me is at the automated pay register always an issue . causing lots of loss of time.

ALWAYS has whatever bigger stores don't carry or ran out of especially with the covid-19!!! Very accommodating great customer service!

Acme is my local grocery store since i moved to town. It is OK.
