Local Kitchen & Beer Bar

We've eaten here a bunch of times before this night. We chose the Local Kitchen on this night because we knew that we could enjoy some good food at the bar and watch the NY Rangers game. It's not a "sport's bar" but they have TV'S all around the bar. The bartender put the Rangers game on for us when we asked. My dad was in the mood for some comfort food and ordered the grilled cheese and a very delicious bowl of tomato soup. I know that the soup was really good because I tasted it. I ordered a very nice salad and added seared tuna. The tuna wasn't one of the options on the menu but I asked and they didn't disappoint. Everything was perfect, but then enjoying some food while watching the Rangers game with my dad always is.

So this was our third time here. I got the berry sangria and it was delicious. I ordered the Mexi Bowl, my boyfriend ordered the mac and cheese and we shared the pierogies as an appetizer. Their food is delicious and their menu is perfect for everybody. They also offer a variety of vegan and gluten friendly options. The menu also says they serve brunch on the weekends although we've never been there for that but I'm sure it's just as delicious. Can't wait to go back again and try something else.

Great atmosphere, good variety of beer (local and more), server was kind, a nice bar in the middle of the restaurant. We ordered dumplings as appetizer, they were crispy, cadillac burger was good too, the meat taste amazing. I'll go back again.

We love chicken wings. After reading about how Local Kitchen prepares it, we had to try. We were not disappointed. It's as claimed, the double frying technique gave the wings a crispy texture outside but still moist and tender within. The small portions were generous enough for 2 to share. The bang bang shrimps had a crispy, fluffy skin, tossed in a nice tangy sauce. The choices for beer was more of the eclectic types but the regular Amber ale available went fine with the food. The pho was good with a clever mix of ingredients including crispy pork belly. Look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Really nice and quiet place for lunch, after working out, on the sports complex located right next to it. Great selection of beers, awesome burgers with a fast and friendly service! If you're in the area and feeling hungry, definitely check it out!

I was pleasantly surprised to find a good craft beer place in Fairfield. Met up with a buddy and ate at the bar. Tried a few different on tap beers and the selection was pretty wide ranged. The atmosphere was different and interesting and the location near the train is convenient. The staff was decently friendly and the bartender didn’t steer us wrong with recommending food. We tried a bunch of app. The disco fries were my favorite but I love greasy bar food so those with a light stomach shouldn’t order. The Asian boneless wing were awesome!! I would recommend. Trivia night was going on and it’s not my thing but didn’t people seemed to be enjoying it

Finger licking good food. Espresso martini coming up , may I have another yes you can sir. This place hits the spot for some adult time away from the kid and enjoying the nice town for Fairfield. A must for some food and drinks

Great winter spot because it stays pretty warm. Lots of space and a large bar gives it a casual feel and the burgers are 10/10.

Fun place, nice atmosphere. Great staff. Split the Twin Steak, steak and cheese with fries, and an IPA and the 1911 Honey Crisp Cider. Had a very enjoyable time. Kelsey was our server and I think Nick was the manager on duty. Both very helpful in helping pick a great brew 😉🍺

Dave Rutigliano is a very nice, professional and enthusiastic manager. Service is phenomenal and would recommend 10/10 to anyone looking for somewhere to eat

Food is amazingly fresh and made in house, excellent beer menu as well! One of the few restaurants I know that offers a selection (small - 4/5) of sour beers. Highly recommend their salads, perogies, and the onion soup is outstanding!

I always love coming to Local for trivia nights on Tuesdays. Our server named Chelsea always does such a great job!

Solid beer selection and bar food menu. The Crab Tater Kegs (tater tots) are incredible! The old bay and aioli sauce go together perfectly.

One of my favorite restaurants in Fairfield. They always have a huge selection of craft beer on tap, and their food is always delicious.

Went for brunch with my family for the 1st time to their Fairfield location. Staff very friendly. Food delicious. Great atmosphere. Will be coming back. Many many different food choices from French toast to Asian dumplings to a burger with fries.

A given: great beer selection. Their apps and bowls are great as well. The Thai chicken is a favorite. Great place to gather with friends or watch sports. This is a go to place for me and my friends. They have beer specials on Monday.
