I just visit the store on Fairfield CT, and I like to leave a very satisfactory review
As soon as I enter the store, I was great bye Kiley immediately she offered her help and start assisting me it made me feel very, very welcome. She’s a very lovely, happy cheerful, very knowledgeable and very kind. She help me so much that I even purchase 4 pairs of shoes she made recommendations was very attentive to my needs and went way and beyond to be sure I got the write shoos I need it and even do I only want it 2 pairs I end up buying 4 because her recommendations help me realize that I can benefit my self with the extra 2 pairs!!!
I also so the interaction with customers of Regan and Dan and it was also fascinating the patient and attention to their customers needs!!!
I will definitely go back to the store for more shoes and clothes and I will definitely recommend the store to all my friends

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and very thorough. She must have brought out 50 ( slight exaggeration) pairs of sneakers until the perfect pair was found. She was also very personable.

Really loved the service here. Not once did I feel pressured to purchase anything, yet Eileen was SO knowledgeable and helpful - even had me take a short jog with the running sneakers I eventually purchased. The layout of the store is excellent and product lineup thorough. Her associates were friendly too! I will be returning to grab future pairs. Thank you Eileen!

Great customer service! I worked with Dan and Phil and they measured my feet on the computer and then suggested a few different orthotics. After spending almost an hour with me and closing the store later than usual, I chose an orthotic that I am happy with. They are very knowledgeable and make customers feel important, regardless of the amount of the sale. Probably one of the best retail experiences you can have in Fairfield.

I've purchased running shoes and clothes here several times over the past few years. The people are always friendly and helpful, and guide you in the right direction. What's prompting me to write this review now--I was having an issue with a pair of running shoes that were a bit out of the return window. They were understanding and empathetic, and let me exchange those shoes for a different pair. This was a good example of why it's good to shop local. Thank you!

Eileen and her team are the absolute best. Not only was she able to recommend the perfect pair of shoes for me, she was able to do it on the first try! The super friendly and knowledgeable staff has made this my new running shoe shop.

My husband and I just got into running a few years ago and this is where we came for our first pair of ‘real’ running shoes. We had such a great experience and no issues with the shoes they had recommended that when we had reached the expiration date on our trainers (did our first half marathon this past fall), we immediately went back to this shop for assistance. Although we’ve had several great people help us, Eileen, stands out the most from our last stop in. She spent an extensive amount of time with us, allowed us to run outside down the street to test out different options, and provided her expert advice. I left with a pair of sneakers and my husband is planning to go back and pick up a pair for himself next week. Having an expert guide you while shopping for trainers has made us love running. You may be able to get a deal on a shoe at an outlet or discount store, but you are unlikely to be as content as we have been.

Came in with my father to purchase a pair of new shoes. They scanned his foot, had him try a few different models and gave us some great customer service. I would highly recommend this place!

Came in because I was having difficulty finding a shoe that didn’t hurt me whilst running long distance. Staff was super friendly, personable, welcoming and genuinely seemed interested in helping me. The overall environment was positive and I will definitely return for any future athletic needs.

If you are a runner in Fairfield county, this is the only place you should shop. Expert knowledge, customer oriented and a great selection are the leading characteristics of the Sound Runner experience. While there are no guarantees in running, there's no excuse for not having the best information available. That's what I get every time I walk into this store. Just wish they had more trail shoes:)

My boyfriend and I stopped here to pick up a last minute graduation gift for his sister after we flew in from Utah. The staff here went above and beyond to problem solve a way to make it look presentable and like we did not just purchase it 30 minutes before the event. This is not a level of service I expected for the very little amount of money we spent in the store. Thank you!

I have been turning to sound runner since they opened. I have terrible plantar fasciitis, and have struggled to find shoes with the right support for my foot. They have been amazing in helping me to find shoes that help me run long distance even with the condition. Their clothes are great too!!

Have never really been a runner, always the guy that just does “cardio”. Up until I started to run into foot injuries such as gout and a minor mid foot ligament tear (from other sports). I decided to do more research on what kind of shoes to wear for running. A friend recommended me this place and I wish I found this place sooner! Ilene was wonderful, she measured my foot size and explain what kind of foot type I have; Examined how I walked and then they even put me on a treadmill to test the shoes before I even buy! I ended up buying a pair of shoes that felt like it was made for me. Highly recommend this place to runners of all levels.

Awesome store with awesome customer service! I went in looking to replace my trashed running watch and they didn't "sell" me a watch, they noted how they actually used the watches on their own wrists and how many or few of the features they used. I walked out with a watch that I LOVE.

As someone that's been distance running for 25+ years, I want to see what I'm buying, so online sites just don't work. I need to see the shorts and feel where the seams are. SoundRunnner let's me do that.

I also like that I can walk in there and see the random gadgets that they have for nighttime running, that I didn't know were even options until I saw them in person!

If you need shoes. Go in. If you're getting ready for a 5k, head in. If your training is going great, head in! Local running stores like this need to exist, so I don't make any online purchases anymore for my running stuff and instead head into the store to buy whatever I need (because I only want to buy it ONCE!)

Very helpful staff...I was having issues with a pair of running shoes I had bought in the store and brought them back (a month later)...they took them back with no issues and spent lots of time with me finding one with a better fit.

Just met my new friend Eileen and she hooked me up with exactly what I needed and took her time to explain everything in detail to me..
