Steve's Deli

It stopped here to grab a breakfast sandwich, which is actually better than I expected. It’s one of the better bacon, egg and cheese, on a hard roll sandwich I have had in a long time. This thing was loaded with bacon! I saw them making an Italian combo, and I will be getting that next time I come here for sure. Prices are reasonable and the ladies working here are nice.

Super friendly staff and excellent portions on their sandwiches, both breakfast and lunch.

I cannot speak more highly of Steve’s. Had to feed 50 athletes at nearby event, for two sittings. Rose was incredible in helping me through order and delivery. Both Rose and Steve always available for questions, changes. Quality of sandwiches, prep, delivery were superb. Highly rec.

Steve is a Culinary Institute of America grad. Professionally trained chefs produce better food. Generous portions, great quality, fair prices.

I came here for the second time and it the food here was good both times I came here.
I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and it was really good, it was delicious, it was filling it was not expensive. The service was good the scenery is good. I highly recommend this place

I went in for “lobster Fest Friday” today. Steve and his crew were so accommodating! I had requested a “hot” lobster roll to eat at a later time. Steve put together a package with all the components so that I was able to enjoy a fresh sandwich a bit later. (Kept the lobster refrigerated for me to heat up at home) The lobster is delicious! Enough meat for two sandwiches. I wish I could find a way to post my photo! Definitely worth the splurge! Thanks for a delicious meal and your kindness!

Top notch sandwiches. I'm a larger than average guy, and the pulled pork grinder was definitely 2 meals worth of food for me and delicious to the last bite. My partner got a pastrami something and it was great too.

Doesn't look like much from the road, but the food is excellent..my chicken cutlet sandwich was more like to sandwiches on one bun.
Look forward to going back.
I bought a piece of cinnamon coffee cake to go. I made some fresh coffee latter that day to go with that piece of cake ..WOW! Soooo good.

My son-in-law introduced me to Steve's last week. Now I want to know, what took him so long? First of all, though Steve's Deli isn't a dine-in establishment, they do have a picnic table on the front porch you're welcome to. But that's not what you're coming here for. It's the amazing food CIA-trained chef Steve Merkel prepares. We indulged in an order of chicken cutlets and Italian sausage and peppers for dinner later at home. Mama Mia, Little Italy has nothing on Steve! He prepares a limited number of servings of his amazing entrees each morning, so don't wait too late! But I'm going to make it a point of trying the breakfast menu one day soon. Manga!

Best deil around, like the sign says “good food isn’t cheap, cheap food isn’t good, we serve good food.” This quote fits this place perfectly I got the chicken cutlet special and it was money well spent. On top of that the service is wonderful no matter what age you are you can always have a great chat with whom I believe to be Steve the owner. Definitely will be returning to this deil very very soon.

My guy and I stopped by the driving range next door.We we’re hungry so we wandered in to the deli to see what they had on the menu. I noticed they had Reuben sandwiches.and I have always loved a good Reuben but haven’t been able to find any that matched the ones my mother in law served at her little restaurant she had on Dykeman street 45 years ago. Well, let just say Steves Reuben was the absolute best I have ever eaten!!!The corned beef was warm and fresh and not cooked to death on the grill and the sauerkraut was perfect! I gotta say the coleslaw was tasty too! I give you 5 stars and the service was good too.

Outstanding breakfast and super friendly staff. The breakfast sandwich was huge. Tons of crispy bacon, very large egg and just delicious. Throw in a large coffee for 7 bucks and you're happy camper.

Warm lobster roll was so good as well as the coleslaw. Would definitely go back for more!

Always come here for bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches. Let me tell you, the best in town. People say it is pricey, but you get what you pay for (loaded with bacon, fresh bun, and an overall a great sandwich). We call ahead of time and our stuff is always ready right when we get there. The staff is super nice and definitely will continue you to visit.

My sister had them cater an event recently and they were awesome! Delicious food (lobster, steamers, bbq chicken, steak) and friendly, professional staff. I've had their wonderful sandwiches and wraps in the past but didn't know they catered. Would definitely recommend!!

Exceeds any expectations you can have for a deli. Delicious food, everything made fresh, wonderful family staff, juicy roast beef and crazy sick salads to die for. Can't wait to experience their lobster fest on Fridays in July and August. Oh, did I mention fair prices? Generous portions. I'm hooked on Steve's deli!

Absolutely one of the very best sandwich spots in New Milford! Portions are great, everything is fresh, and don't get me started on the chowder. Do your self a favor and stop by.
