Overall experience 10/10. Vinu was great from beginning to end. The Taj Calamari was an amazing appetizer to lead us right into the perfect entrees Chicken Curry and Lamb Rogan Josh. Will be returning.

We love the food here. All good. Must try Chicken Malai Kebab and Chicken Shrimp Biryani. Staff is good.

Our family used to live in India, after moving to Fairfield we often come here as the food is so good and authentic. Today I took my friend from Taiwan for lunch, she never tried Indian food and she loves it! She said she will always come back with her family and friends too. We specially love Masala Dosa and the excellent service from Mr Binu!

Incredible experience. Food was phenomenal. The portions were large and seasoned perfectly. Lasuni Gobi was cooked to perfection and is my gauge for how good an Indian restaurant is. The service was phenomenal and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our food and experience.

Wow! What a great experience! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The service was absolutely wonderful and they were so accommodating of my big party! They were super patient, kind and had great sense of humor. Sumesh was so kind on the phone when I called to reserve. Food was perfection! Hope I spelled your name right! I will definitely return! The Taj was a remarkable place, exceptional too. Its stands out in fairfield county as one of the better indian restaurants.
Specifically they accomidated vegan options for us. They did it very well. I would have liked more spices but my tastes displease others. And thats good they didn’t because out party of five shared and delighted in all the dishes the way.
Recommended. An important tip to know is to consider the Sunday buffett. Great variety and options.

Food is excellent number one restaurant food in Fairfield only thing is when you have a buffet don’t rush people and also for buffet. It be nice. Have a big plate. People can enjoy the food that they pay excellent service for tease excellent. Manager was very nice. I talk to change something he did right away very nice friendly people.

The food was excellent! I had the mutton Rogan Josh and it was cooked perfectly. The service is wonderful and the team is flawless. The ambiance is ideal. Overall, an incredible dining experience.

We had a great time at Taj’s. We brought our mom to celebrate Mothers Day and the service was beyond excellent. They gave her wine, cake and a gift. We really enjoyed our time and we will definitely be coming back.

Excellent Indian Food. Portions, spice and tenderness were perfect. Biriyani 65 was amazing! Staff is friendly and attentive. Decor is as vibrant as the flavors of the dishes. Can't wait to return.

One of the best places in Fairfield County to get Indian food. Excellent variety of dishes. We’ve tried much of the menu and have been throughly impressed. The chicken korma is especially good. The staff is very friendly and flexible to different requests. Service can be a little slow, but as long as you are not in a rush, the wait is definitely worth it.

Taj restaurant is amazing, I eat here all the time. Binu was amazing as well, he answered our questions about certain foods, he also joked with us and told us about traditional Indian dishes. Taj is a must go!

Such a lovely restaurant! The food was delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff was so friendly and attentive.

This was my partner's first time having this type of cuisine. I'm happy to say I finally won him over :) We'll definitely be coming back to try other dishes.
