We had a lovely experience here. I made a reservation for 4 adults and two kids and made it for the wrong day without knowing. When we showed up they quickly accommodated us and could not have been nicer. It was a mothers day celebration for my mom and sister the food and hospitality was top notch. Thank you for the memorable experience we will be talking about this night for a while.

Everything we had was outstanding. Beautiful restaurant, great wine and liquor selection and delicious food. Fried buratta was a novel take on how to serve but absolutely delicious. Tartare was also a little different as it was served on a potato rosti which added a nice counter to the rich tartare. Strozzapreti was good, nothing too memorable but a solid dish. When we asked the server which item she would pick she chose the burger, odd choice with such a varied menu but she was right. Burger was delicious but fries were the star, perfectly crispy. I am not a big dessert person but I think the butterscotch budino was one of the best desserts I have ever had. Creamy layers of butterscotch pudding, cream and crispy, buttery shortbread on top. Served in a small mason jar so a little difficult to get all items in one bite but worth the effort. Highly recommend if you want delicious high quality food in a quaint New England atmosphere.

I had a lovely experience dining here for lunch, the crudo and mushrooms were delicious appetizers and we enjoyed the cod sandwich special and the cheeseburger. Our waiter was pleasant and more than accommodating to assist us in making choices. The restaurant is beautiful and the scenery is idyllic.

Wow, utterly amazing dinner. Great food, great cocktails, great service. Highly recommended. We had the lamb rib appetizer (fall of the bone tender), cacio e pepe (nice funky and cheesy), branzino (great crispy skin) and scallops (perfectly cooked). All were delicious and would order again. Enjoy!!!

Can't wait to go back. This place was pretty pricey but honestly you get what you pay for. Roasted oysters were absolutely the best. I had the duck breast as my entree and it was cooked to perfection. Drinks were also very well balanced. Alot of care went into this place from the food, to drinks, and to atmosphere. The staff was also excellent. Very attentive and friendly. There is also valet which is nice.

Great service. Really delicious, thoughtful cocktails. Best octopus we've ever had. Really enjoyable meal and experience. Highly recommend for date night or with friends.

Always love. Ask to be seated in main dining room (just my preference). Call way ahead too, as always busy for prime times.

I'm generally not a big fan of Connecticut restaurants Tarantino's in Westport is good Union League Cafe in New Haven is ok but we did fine at GrayBarns tonight and it was amazing generally we hit Michelin star restaurants in New York City, we will be back in August.

Incredible selection of liquors (Japanese whiskeys and more). Great view from the bar area, service was top notch and atmosphere was lively. Food was expensive but well worth it. The quality was unbelievable. I had the carrot appetizer and chicken breast large plate. Haven’t had chicken taste thay good that in my life. Chocolate torte dessert was great too. Everything tasted like it was made with care and expertise. Valet was a bit scattered but it was busy. Wish there was self parking unless I didn’t know about it.

This place is amazing, everything was outstanding all the way from the Valet service to the delicious dessert, I had one of the most expensive Hamburgers but let me tell you it was worth it every penny, definitely the best hamburgers of Fairfield county, my mom said the Smoked Duck wat the best dish she ever has since COVID started, I highly recommend it.

What a find! I’ve lived less than 10 mins away and only just discovers this gem! Beautiful setting and interior. Great food and service!

Went here for dinner and had a great time. Everyone enjoyed all they ate. Food was cooked perfect and tasted delicious. Staff and atmosphere were great too.

Expensive. Wound up being well over $100 per person with booze, tip and tax but worth it. Obviously we could have cut back on the booze... 😂

Quite possibly the best restaurant in Connecticut. Everything is outstanding!! The spicy pasta dish is out of this world. The duck, incredible. The apps, uniquely tasty. The dessert, delectable. Incredible experience!!

We brought our son here for his birthday and who knew what an absolute gem like this existed in the Norwalk area.
The presence, the warmth of the staff and the enthusiasm from beginning to end was amazing.
We will be back soon for sure.

Service and food and cocktails were delightful. Honestly the menu looked limited and prices were high enough that we have been hesitant to go but finally decided to do it with an Uber and I'm so glad. I can only speak to what we had, and it was all delicious and I would recommend for anyone. The heirloom tomato salad, steak tartare, the burger, the whole fish and the budino. Cocktails are really great as well.

A friend and I had the pleasure of dining at the Tavern at GrayBarns recently. The ambiance was warm, inviting and sophisticated. We had no wait time for our reservation and were immediately escorted to our table by the hostess upon arrival. Jennifer took our order and provided fantastic recommendations for our drinks and food. We enjoyed the Japanese Whisky and a Cocktail. The smoked carrots were fantastic and the Burrata, just as good. The Spicy Rigatoni stood out for us- it was exquisite. Amadou took over for Jennifer towards the end of our meal and recommended his favorite desserts, both of course, were excellent. Our desserts were served with candles in celebration of my friend's birthday. The additional service staff refilled our water glasses and consistently checked in with us through the night. Overall, we had a terrific time and look forward to our next visit. Cheers to Jennifer, Amadou and the rest of the staff for a job well done and thank you for such amazing service.

The new Tavern at GrayBarns has rustic and clean style that matches the scenery and food. Slight contemporary twists on “tavern/farm” food.

The smoked carrots are a must try. The menu has so many delicious sounding dishes it’s hard to choose but the smoked carrots are a hidden gem that are likely overlooked. Otherwise it’s hard to go wrong in your choices.

They also have creative and delicious cocktails. Second best espresso martini in Fairfield County and the “make it snap pea” was amazing.

If you have room for dessert I recommend the cheesecake.

Also free valet parking.

This was easily the best meal I have had near Fairfield. Also the spicy margarita was as good as it gets. Waitstaff and location made this all the more special. No further description needed. If you want an amazing meal, make a reservation here.

Hospitality at its finest! Compliments to everyone involved! Stumbled upon this hidden gem on Tuesday 9/15 for an early dinner...reservation was simple to make online, I was greeted and sat promptly, the entire place seemed immaculate and the service, my man Mamadou, exceeded all expectation! Beverages on point, the food was perfectly executed and beyond anything else I’ve tried in a LONG time!! BRAVO! Will certainly be back, have to try out the beautiful inn that’s attached as well! Thank you all for a perfect evening!!
