friend booked reservations about a week ahead, we were all 5 of us seated promptly and comfortably and drink orders were taken right then and there which was great
(4/5 of us got the bottomless mimosas and my mother said it was truly like the glass was bottomless - somehow none of them ever waited for their refill)

we got the warm olives and brussel sprouts appetizers and for main course we had: salmon eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, the frittata, croque madam, and clam linguine

Great place, great service. We had dinner tonight and had great time in Oak and Almond. The name tells it all, "almond" is never boring. We had wonderful beet salad, crispy calamari and fish. All were extremely delicious adding on to the lovely conversation and great service by dear Jessica. Thanks a lot. Love this place.

I did it again. I got so wrapped up in my experience I totally forgot to take pictures. So let me try and paint a picture for you. The place is cool, great for large groups, or more intimate settings. You can see all the going on in the kitchen, which I really like. Drinks are great, started with a spicy margarita, followed by a lovely red wine (they have a great selection of wines) we had mussels, shrimp special of the day, and Brussels sprouts, all the appetizers were sensational. For entree we had the sausage pasta, which was Devine, the lamb burger and the fish dish of the day. We stayed for almost 4 hours, chatting, eating and enjoying the restaurant, and not once did they try to push us out of our table. Love that. I’ll be back. And I’ll take pictures next time. I promise.

Nice experience! Went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. There is plenty of parking. The restaurant has a beautiful patio. Make you forget that you right off of route 7. Great atmosphere and service.

Food was excellent.. delicious options. I got the special pasta with seafood. Huge portion… enough leftovers to have for dinner the next night.

This is not a "I went here last night and now will offer my review," this is an "I've been coming here for over a decade, and here's my review." In other words, every restaurant can have an excellent night, or a poor night, but sustained excellence takes talent and vision. I'm happy to say that Oak + Almond truly has sustained excellence. Over hundreds of meals, I've never had a bad one, and certainly a vast, vast majority have been superb. There's a clear sense that there's a chef who really understands food behind every dish they serve. As for service, my wife and I dine mostly in the bar (we like the casual cozy atmosphere) and the people here are just fantastic. Highest recommendation.

We stopped in here for one drink around 6 and ended up staying for much longer than we expected. The oysters were fresh and well-shucked, the charred octopus was incredible... we almost ordered it again, but went with the mussels instead and loved those too. Our cocktails were great too (obviously). We'll be back!

This was a GREAT choice for an evening out with friends. The atmosphere was very comfortable and social, but surprisingly, not very loud. The acoustics allowed for people to talk comfortably without shouting over one another. The staff were welcoming but not intrusive. All of the dishes served that evening were complimented by everyone at the table. My braised short ribs were delicious, as was the beet salad and the shared desserts (chocolate chip cookie, and crème brulee). We kept remarking how comfortable we were, how much we enjoyed the environ, and how much we wanted to go back again!! Awesome, Oak and Almond!!!

We had a good experience. The food was good and they offer a pretty good selection on the menu. They have a full bar, indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking and a nice atmosphere. We made a reservation but depending on the day/time you can probably walk in. We’ll eat here again when back in the area.

There is outdoor patio seating, as well as indoor and bar seating. The signature drink is beautifully made and delicious. The bread at the table is so good, you may want to ask for more before you order. The menu is simple and the dishes use fresh and local ingredients. There are always a few specials that you should also consider, the wait staff can recite them from memory.

The food portions are perfect, not too much, not too little. Everyone in my party felt their dinner was excellent, and we had room for dessert.

Freaking amazing food. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Calamari was the best I ever had. Wood fired filet is succulent. The wild mushroom and homemade sausage pasta was excellent as well. Had a great anniversary dinner. Oh and the Homemade bread fantastic. I complain about restaurants alot and never feel like I got my money worth. This place was an exception. A++

First time there. Outstanding in every way. Had Oysters Rockefeller which are not available many places. Great on every level.

Really great experience all around. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, the atmosphere was great whether for casual dining or formal occasions, everything felt like it had character and was really carefully chosen to match the aesthetic of the restaurant. I would for sure come here again

Update: I went here again on October 3rd. I proposed to my now fiance there. They accommodated me and my 20 guest. No issues. Food and service was great once again.. Thank you so much for making our special day that much special. Thank you management and staff...

Took my girlfriend here for Brunch on September 4th for her birthday after weeks of research of places to go for Brunch and Mimosas. Glad I ended up choosing this place. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was amazing. Bottomless Mimosas were a hit. There was 9 of us in our party. No one complained about their food. No one's order was messed up. Wait staff were very attentive and just on point with everything. Highly recommended. I will DEFINITELY be back.

What a fantastic time we had at Oak and Almond in Norwalk. Had brunch with 6 friends, and half of us had never been there. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. Ramon was out of this word, and took really good care of us. The restaurant was full, but it didn't feel crowded. I am excited to go back with my husband and try their dinner service.

Excellent food, they were very accomodating to our larger group booked the same day. The cocktails were great as well as their food. We had their special squid ink risotto and scallops and it was excellent. The rest of the group also very much enjoyed their food and rave reviews all around.

This is the second time I've been to this restaurant. Both times have been extremely pleasant. The service is outstanding. The food is different and delicious. The outside is beautiful! There is shade provided for anyone who doesn't want to receive any sun. If anyone is thinking about trying this restaurant out do not hesistant to! I love this for family brunch and a romantic dinner. One of Norwalk's Gems!

This place is always great, especially for weekend brunch. Added bonus if you can get Ramon as your server. He provides great service!
