Dr. Ross Richer

Dr Richer has been extremely professional. Avoided surgery until I had no other option. Would highly recommend him.

I was not happy with my experience with Dr. Richer or his PA. It wasn't until I got a 2nd opinion that I realized how poor my experience was. My first appointment was with his PA, which I wasn't expecting in the 1st place. They took an xray and told me it looked fine. She gave me a cortisone shot in my wrist. I had excruciating pain in my forearm for the following 2 days and continued pain in my forearm for weeks. I was told I could play paddle tennis 4 days after the shot, which I did. I ended up bursting my tendon. I was scheduled for a wrist arthrogram xray & MRI with contrast. When I met w/ Dr. Richer, he barely did an exam and told me my tendon was missing. He said this is very rare. Nothing could be done other than to manage my pain. Subsequently, I went for a 2nd option. This doctor 1) found tiny cysts on an xray and 2) did see the edge of my tendon. He also told me that wrist arthrograms have not widely been used for 25-30 years because most find that the contrast gets in the way of what really needs to be seen....

This guy is a clown strictly for the insurance company if you are sent to him please please get a second opinion
