New Fairfield Food Center Inc

Locally known as “Johnny’s”, this deli/grocery store is the best food center around! Everything from their deli is dynamite, especially their rotating lunch specials. I highly recommend The Husky. Hot bar, To-Go meals and common groceries available here too. The staff is awesome and super friendly. I stop by 2-3 times a week for lunch here. Best food around!!!

I was in twice this week to pick up some porterhouse steaks. When we were there over the weekend I said to Johnny, “there’s no other place that compares to the amazing steaks of this market “. It’s so true, even when comparing to some of the finest steakhouses I’ve been to over the last 62 years! NF Market has the freshest selection of meat. While it is definitely a higher price than what you would pay at a supermarket, it is worth every penny. After having steaks from here there’s honestly no other place I would consider. Besides the best meats, the employees who work behind the meat counter are beyond helpful and so friendly and courteous. Thank you NF Market and employees for being such an amazing business in our community!

One of my favorite places. Everyone is friendly and the prepared foods and meats are exceptional. Very easy and quick in and out of the store. A great little dine-in area where you can eat take-out from the deli.

I’m a new resident in CT, and have had the most extraordinary experience each time I’ve come into the Butcher Shop. These outstanding experiences have prompted me to write this review. Both Joe Sr., and Joe Jr. have been so welcoming, and most helpful when I was unable to find cubed steak in local supermarkets. This is now my “go to”place for the main ingredient to a dish my husband’s mom, who passed away, used to make for him. I like to make this dish at least once a week in honor of her.

My excellent experiences haven’t only been with the Joe’s (😇); these experiences involve every member of staff from the deli, to the butcher shop, and finally my checkout with super friendly cashiers!

Also, I’m always compelled to try the amazingly fragrant hot dishes that have not failed to be delicious every time! I just had the most delectable chicken pot pie yesterday!!!

I am not from the area and called to inquire about a delivery to a friend who lives in town. I was met with great compassion and kindness. Thank you, Johnny. It’s clear to me that you run an excellent business and go out of your way to assist the needs of your customers.

Phenomenal deli. Food to money to deliciousness ratio is just right. I’d say the Big Ben is their best sandwich. They have a wonderful prepared food case full of fresh, house-made meals and sides, a hot bar (not self-serve), and a fantastic butcher shop with Boars Head products.

Awesome food, breakfast and lunch, store made frozen entrees are good... And the Jonny burgers make for a perfect summer bbq! Staff is also amazing... Kind courteous and helpful. 10/10 would recommend

Today I went to the food center to eat and Rachel took care of me. I have to say the service she gave me was amazing not only was she attentive but she went out of her way to make my experience very pleasant! The philly wrap she made me was amazing! This place is amazing and the service is always great. Ask for Rachel at the deli and ask for Pat at the meat department. They are my two favorites! Thanks for never failing me!
