Excellent staff and service! I stopped here today with my boyfriend after service. The owner is so kind and thoughtful. She has a beautiful set up and much attention to detail. She really made us feel at home! It was a pleasure to patron. My boyfriend got a chicken cutlet sandwich on a roll. I got the steak sandwich special with pesto on a wrap. Both came with a side of fries. The location also has a spacious seating area. There is a small foosball table and bookshelf. They also offer fresh kombucha from the tap!

Got breakfast sandwiches and was blown away with the quality of the home-made bacon and freshness of the roll and bagel. The coffee was freshly brewed and delicious.

Avi who worked the counter made the experience very pleasant (and the kitchen was quick!), so it would be a great way to start the work day.

They carry fresh boar’s head deli meat, so we’ll definitely be coming back for lunch.

Finally, they stock locally sourced goods, so if you want to support local business, Dodgingtown Market and Deli needs to be in your lineup!

Our all time favorite place to stop by and grab a bite. It’s such a nice little gem, it’s worth the drive. I’ve never had a time where I haven’t liked the food. They’re always experimenting new foods to put on the menu. Specials everyday! They make homemade Kimchi and CBD drinks. The owners are so friendly and take time out getting to know all of their customers. Follow them on Facebook! They post everyday to keep us updated on new food!

This deli has been completely overhauled in the last couple years. The food is incredible, innovative, and unique in ways you don't normally get from delis. At the same time it's also very homegrown and comforting in ways you do expect. Tons of ingredients and products are prepared in house instead of bought, and the flavor of it really comes through.

Try any of the specials they're always good, and their signature sandwich list is a great place to choose from if you can't decide.

There's also a really nice selection of local produce and specialty goods like Connecticut brewed kombucha, cold brew on tap and various other goodies. The rotating daily takeaways foods also shouldn't be overlooked--some of the best pot pies you'll ever try.

I consider the people here my extended family. They brighten my day every time I see them. The food is incredible every time, especially their Game Changer. I really don't know what I'd do without them.

Get the Game Changer. It's the best breakfast sandwich I've had period. People are great, and make you feel special. I wish them well, they definitely deserve it.

There's a different vibe with the new ownership. There is music playing, a few tables and chairs set up, an appealing display of local products (mostly pastries and baked goods - all looked yummy), a grab-and-go cooler which also included some homemade kimchi and local kombucha, and the friendliest service I've had in a deli. Ever. Yes, the prices are a bit high but the sandwiches come with chips and pickle slices, so I didn't have to buy a separate bag of chips (bingo - just saved the extra I spent on the sandwich!). I ordered 2 sandwiches. The "Angry Waitress" (a deconstructed grilled cheese with bacon and tomato) was tasty but a bit too rich for me. The Teddy was spot on.

Dodgingtown Market never disappoints it always hits, I asked my guy what's for dinner today? He told me the special I fell in love with it, I had to give a review, I had the curry chicken with the vegetables oh my god was delicious.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have lived in the area for years and never stopped by until last week. While the selection of market items is not huge, they do seem to have all of the staples. Now let me tell you about the kitchen….
In addition to the market, they have a full kitchen serving up some seemingly delicious food. I can’t comment on the flavors because I didn’t purchase anything to eat, having just had lunch elsewhere, but let me tell you.. the food smelled amazing.
I left without buying anything, and then turned around and walked right back in.. not able to get the locally sourced corn on the cob out of my mind. I bought 6 ears for our family of three and let me tell you there was no corn left after dinner. I’m sorry for the ribs we cooked that night because the corn was the star of the show.
Now that I know this spot is here I will definitely be back!

These owners have really stepped up their game! They have compared to go, and home baked goods that are incredible. The new owners are wonderful and extremely helpful.

It's very rare you have the opportunity to see the before and after with such stark difference. I used to actively avoid this deli and now I take every opportunity to stop by. now, under new ownership, the place is vibrant, clean and welcoming.

They have fresh and innovative food, and an ever-changing menu that offers something new, fresh, perfectly crafted, and homemade every day.

The new owners have made this into a mainstay. The friendly and courteous staff are attentive and engaging. The kitchen is staffed with amazing chefs who accommodate you even if they are shutting down for the day.

I highly recommend you stop by and see what they have to offer. You'll come back again!

Our family loves this place! What a great addition to our area. The food is always so fresh and delicious! Their breakfast sandwiches and chicken salad are some of our favorites! The owner is always so friendly and greets every customer with a smile. They ran out of something recently, but went out of their way to make me something just as delicious to make sure I got what I wanted. I really can’t say enough wonderful things about this place!! An extra bonus is that I can walk there from my house! Keep up the great work! We love you!

Stopped in here with a buddy after some motorcycle riding. They have a lot of stuff! Food was good and accommodating. Lots of different coffee available too! Super friendly people there that make you feel like you're home.

As someone who grew up right down the street from the old Dodgingtown Market and would get sandwiches there as a kid, I was sad to see it go. However, now that I've moved back to the area and frequently need to stop in to the market and liquor store, I am so impressed with the new owners. The hospitality the new owners bring is so comforting and they are SUCH hard workers!! Ian especially has been so kind, helpful, and has displayed AMAZING customer service. I wish I could give this family owned business 100 stars. I also love the variety of products that are made from local small businesses that are available for purchase from Candlewood Coffee, to soaps.
