Positano's Restaurant

What an amazing experience! My husband & I went here for the first time last week. The food was so delicate it was obvious it was made with quality ingredients & care! I knew by the time I wrote this my German brain would forget how to spell the waiters name . Regardless he deserves credit.. Ginjohn was so attentive & likeable. He took the time & patience to talk wine regions with us and how to travel Europe advice. Our dinner was a birthday dinner long overdue bc of some family issues. Thank you for making it special!

We were so fortunate to discover this hidden jewel. We were passing through in the way to Maine, and stoped here for an amazing home cooked dinner. The resturant is family owned, the father owns it, daughter manages and son is the inspiring talented chef. This place is definitely a winner!

If you're old enough to have remembered this space in the '70's when it was the site of Westport's own rock and roll club, The Players Tavern, coming here will spark memories! Fast forward, Positano's space offers a warm open environment and friendly mellow dining experience. You will actually be able to hold a conversation rather than being drowned out by loud house music. Welcoming owners, the staff very attentive, wonderful people, fun music, a vibe so very pleasant, this is EASILY one of my favorite places to go to spend an evening out. This is the sort of place where you leave feeling like you've just visited family. Oh..and the food is just out of this world!!!

The food was excellent. The staff bent over backwards to be accommodating. Our family had the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding here for 30 people.

Rosita and I loved the old Positano, but the new one exceeds your expectations. The Son, Fernando has joined with his Father Joseph in the kitchen, after finishing studies at the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park, New York. The new menu is very distinctive and food presented beautifully. The rest of the Family Ines the Wife and Aida the Daughter and exceptional Staff are still all involved in making the restaurant charming and warm. and the service impeccable. The wine list is expansive and Johnny, the maitre de is very knowledgeable. The consistency is great and we have been to the new Positano five times since it reopened in its Westpprt Playhouse Square location. Kemp and Rosita Moreno Coady

Food preparation and serving elegant delicious. Service is old world professional. If you don't feel special here then you're not really here. Just terrific. Yum

First was there for my post wedding brunch back in May 2016...so so good! The following year I had my birthday dinner...the squid pasta was so divine!
