Kate Emilie's A Salon

My daughter in law goes to Kate Emilie’s salon and was kind enough to make me an appointment today. She knows I have had my hair done many many times professionally and I have always come away unhappy until today. Jessica did my highlights only my hair doesn’t look like I just had it lightened. Instead it looks as if it grew this way. I can’t tell you how happy I am. They have a customer for life. Thank you for making me feel so beautiful. The salon itself is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Thank you for a great visit. See you again soon.

I recently moved to Danbury and was so fortunate enough to go to Kate Emilie’s Salon for cut color style. Honestly I am no spring chicken and I have never loved the way my hair looks as MUCH as when Kate works on me. I feel so Good about myself bc Kate is a Genius!!!! I cannot stop staring at myself in the mirror that’s how awesome my hair looks!!!! Bravo 👏🏻 to Kate and her very friendly staff! I have never been happier! 5 stars

Kate does a fantastic job with hair coloring, highlights and cuts. I'm a woman of a certain age that has been getting my hair done for longer than I will admit. I have been to the top salons in both CT and NY and am very particular. I know good work - and that is what Kate does. I always receive compliments on my hair. The last time was at a family event in which folks wanted to know if I just had my hair done it looked so good - when in fact it was weeks ago. I get a base color, foils and a glaze and the results are always perfect. I've been to other high-end salons in the Fairfield area and have paid much, much more for less than perfect results. I love the staff. The salon is warm and inviting with a boutique feel. Cannot recommend Kate and the salon enough!

I have been going to Kate for several years now. I really believe she is the best hairstylist I have gone to in my 70 years of life. I always leave feeling cared for and beautiful. Highly recommended. My daughter, granddaughter and I go together and make a day of it. We are all happy with our various styles.

I'm not usually one to leave a review, but I felt compelled to after my experience at Kate Emilie's Salon. I was attended to by Kate, the owner, who was just so kind and gentle with me. She understood my concerns and hesitations going to a new salon as someone with curly hair. Kate answered all my questions and walked me through the process of cutting my hair. Communication was very easy and focused on the health of my hair and what my end goal was. The hour flew by and the end result? Amazing! I got long layers with face framing pieces and I could not have been happier. Even with the intense humidity, the curly cut still looks great! I am so happy to have found Kate's salon. I will be coming again for all my future hair endeavors.

So my mom works there and I just know that every time she goes to work. She goes with kindness and with courage to her job to make hair dreams come true ✨ 💖

I had the Extreme pleasure of going to Kate at her salon for a curly haircut and one process color. In all honesty Kate is outstanding and knows her industry well. They are kind, talented, and really know how to make you look great! They truly care about their clients. No one tries to shame you into buying products or services you don’t really want. I have loved every hair cut and color they have done for me.

Kate has been my stylist for quite a few years. She listens to my requests and executes them perfectly. She’s so understanding, helpful and has creatively found my style.

The salon recently moved to the Summit. The new location is beautiful and very state of the art. All the staff are very friendly and make all the clients feel special. I’ve seen this over and over again whenever I’m being reinvented.

Jessica ALWAYS cuts and colors my hair so beautifully!!! She is a wonderful stylist and person and it's always so much fun on my visits there!! I have received so many nice compliments on my hair since Jessica has been my stylist.

Liz was wonderful at working with me to help me style my naturally curly hair, with both curly and straight styles. She did a great job with my cut and my color. She went above and beyond what I had expected in an appointment for a hair cut!!

I have been going to Kate Emilie’s A Salon for @ 5 years now and these ladies are magical! I’ve never felt so comfortable in a salon as I do here. They listen to what you want and offer expert, professional advice when necessary. I feel like I am visiting a high end spa and my best friends home all at once.

Kate (owner) took my raggedy COVID hair and made me feel stylish and beautiful again! She cut over 8 inches for it to be donated and gave me a fun and sassy cut. I've received soo many compliments from friends and family! I was pampered and had a lovely relaxing time while I was there. Love this salon!

Liz has been cutting my daughters hair for about 2 years now. Every experience has been fantastic! She is wonderful with my daughter and does the best cuts on her curly hair! The rest of the staff is just as great!

Liz was professional & matched my energy throughout my entire time at the salon. Incredibly kind, funny, knowledgeable, and educated me (because I asked) about my specific type of hair. She communicated through the ENTIRE process - from the products she put in my hair & what they did to making sure I was completely satisfied at the end of it. She didn’t push sales - she made recommendations and asked all the right questions!!!

Prices are THE BEST. I mean the quality of service for the price was incomparable to ANY salon (I’ve lived all around the country).

I love Kate Emilies. It's a beautiful salon. I feel pampered each time I come in. I adore my stylist Jessica, shes amazing. I'm a person who doesn't like to sit...yet I feel very comfortable at the salon and look fabulous when I leave. (I don't have to go home and fix my hair the way I like it)!

For me, Kate and KES is a rare find in the Salon industry. I think she could cut hair with her eyes closed, shes so knowledgeable and on top of her game!! Not to mention down to earth and sweet. Im thrilled to have found her and to be her client. Love the Salon and staff too!!
