Shelton Dog Park

There were no other dogs there, but that was expected on a rainy Wednesday morning. The park itself is really nice. It wasn't all soup in the rain. The ledge rock is a nice spot to throw the ball because it makes the bounce unpredictable and fun.

My boys love the trails that loop around the dog park. We go with friends often. The wild life around the pond is fun to spot. We highly recommend the hiking trails!
Unfortunately my dog is too hyper/unpredictable with others, so we've never brought him into the doggie area of the park. It looks like tons of fun for the pups. Those with social dogs would enjoy it.

Love this dog park! It's huge & Snoop always has a blast and makes lots of friends.

Although Labeled #DOGPARK this park exceeds expectations with enough space fenced in to play or even train your best friend it also offers trails you can hike with the family and friends, plus free parking 🐕🐶🐩🐺🦊 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Nice little wooded dog park and pretty hiking trail along horse lake.

Love taking our pup here. He’s a pretty rowdy boy with other dogs but he loves hiking the trails and jumping in the water.

Nice clean dog park where dogs can just be dogs off leash and play around with their peers of the dog world. Pretty hug park as well they provide water and dog bowls as well. Met some awesome people around the areas as well.

Love the park. There's a friendly, regular group of dog owners that go there daily. While I bring my dogs to the park for small dogs, you tend to see a group of larger dogs that go there regularly, and there's been zero issues so far. They keep the park clean and there's always balls and other toys there for the dogs to play with.

Absolutely beautiful dog park. Neighbouring town's dog parks are mostly small, fenced in areas (typically covered with a cheap mulch) with nothing more than a bench or two.

Shelton's park has a very creative, spacious design with all sorts of unique features for dogs to enjoy. My favorite part of the design is that it incorporates dozens of mature trees which gives it a very cozy, sheltered feel.

This is a cool spot for Charlie cuz its park has 2 sides one for small dogs and a fence for big dogs. Its a unique place and my pet loves going there💜🐕👏🐶

My dog loves this park. This was my first visit he ran and played and there was plenty of space and a path that ran from the park to a trail. He goes everyday with my fiance and Ill definitely return when its warmer

Totally fenced in! Your dog will love it! Great mix of rocks, trees and grass. Only gripe would be dog can get dirty on rainy days if they like to get into mud like my dog.

My dog enjoys playing with the other pets there, and that they have certain size dog areas its always clean nice park

We have been taking out dog to the Shelton Dog Park about a month now. He loves it and we get to meet a lot of folks from around the area. We have found that mornings and late afternoons are the best time for a romp with other dogs. Mid day you will usually be there by yourself. It can be very muddy when it's wet. All in all a good place to go.

Plenty of room to spread out and places to sit. My dog really explored the whole boundary line. No public restrooms, just a port a potty. Enough parking and tons of shade.

A much larger small dog park than other places, and the large dog park is also really nice. Always friendly people and friendly dogs. Lots of tennis balls available and a fountain for communal water bowls
